BEHIND EVERY GREAT SEAFOOD RESTAURANT IS A WAREHOUSE STOCKED WITH FRESH SEAFOOD.
The Fishery Restaurant & Market is located just a few blocks from the ocean in North Pacific Beach.
The restaurant menu reflects ‘coastal cuisine’ with a simple yet serious focus on the best our coastal fisheries and local farms have to offer. The passion that drives Chef Mike Reidy is evidenced by flavors that can only be achieved using ingredients at their peak of seasonality and freshness.
The Fishery was awarded the prestigious Award of Excellence for its Wine List from Wine Spectator in 2018- Present. Our wine list is inspired by the great wines of Europe and their American counterparts and we strive to showcase real, natural, food friendly-wines with a sense of place.

The Fishery Market showcases fresh fish, prepared seafood, salads, sauces and marinades.

    Sad to say this place was bad. The service was horrible, a forgetful server that turned combative. Food was mid. Had high hopes and was unfortunately let down enough to leave this review. This place could be amazing, very disappointed.

    Food was delicious. Portion is a bit small, we had 2 appetizers and 2 entrees and still hungry. So we order 2 more appetizers and a dessert. They were all fantastic! And for reference, we’re not fat… we just enjoy food.

    Fresh delicious food and great service on a Sunday afternoon. What a wonderful neighborhood location for seafood. Parking wasn't a problem either

    Wow, the Fishery was outstanding! From the superb cocktails and delicious crab cake to the best sea bass I've ever had, the excellent halibut and exquisite lemon tart. We loved it all!

    Excellent food, drink and service on a very busy night. Our server was excellent and never let us feel neglected as he worked a busy Friday night service. Price point was appropriate for the quality of food.

    We went on Mother’s Day, and we’re never disappointed when we go to The Fishery. Everything is good, service, knowledge of the menu, food, ambiance, value, and noise level. We had the swordfish with bernaise sauce and pickled shallots and a side of fingerling potatoes. It was delicious!
