The best post-pandemic dinner. Outstanding seafood! I wanted to clap my hands at every bite, like a todler that loves eating. The petit tower is very worthy: fresh oysters, delicious ceviche, poke and shrimp cocktail. The main course are as good as the menu description promises.
We were meeting family and out of state friends for lunch. It was amazing!
Chef Mike and Chef Daniel are one of the best chefs in SD.
Service was great as well, very knowledgeable and enthusiastic!
We ate outside, so noise level not a problem. The server (Bethany) was great, the food was served on time, nicely presented, and very delicious. It's pricy, but value for money. Highly recommend.
I don't recall seeing any non-seafood entrees, so if there is anyone in the party who doesn't care for seafood, better check first.
The food and service and cocktails were all wonderful. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend The Fishery.
The meal was perfection. A perfect beautiful margarita (strawberry tomato), my friend loved the salmon and Chef Mike made me a vegetarian pasta (off the menu) that was divine. So impressive. Thank you!
Thank you all for making our experience special. Mark was amazing!!!!
We LOVED The Fishery! Truly outstanding food, one of the best meals we have had in San Diego!! We ate outside and it was perfect. It did seem pretty noisy inside so my advice would be to eat outside. The grilled oysters were amazing, as was the tuna entree.
Always excellent - love the wine list with so many unique vineyards represented.
It is difficult nowadays to receive good timing, friendly service, and most of all, really good food. We hit the Trifecta. Our server was knowledgeable, friendly and very professional. We did not wait really long between courses. The new chef tweaked the menu and it is better than ever. Wifey and I split a very nice Caesar salad with shredded fried onion on top. Nice touch. We had an appetizer special that I hope they keep on the menu. The smoked barracuda cake. Deeelish!!! Our mains that we split were macadamia nut crusted halibut and their version of fish and chips. They were wonderfully prepared. We can’t wait to go back.
No waiting to be seated, greeted with warmth, outstanding food and drink, . Loved it!
I like Fishery as a seafood place, especially for their Halibut fish and chips. However, last time the fish was dry and not as fresh as I would like. The chips were also not crispy. The lettuce in the house salad was not fresh felt soggy. The clam chowder and the Caliente sushi were awesome. We will be back to check the F&C again in case it was a fluke.
Excellent menu from start to finish - amazing cocktails, freshest seafood and the desserts were incredible. Dont sleep on this one!!
We celebrated my sister’s birthday here and everyone was thrilled with the experience! Fantastic customer service, each entree we ordered was outstanding, cleanliness and setting in the indoor space was great! We will be back! Thank you!
Our server, Ian, was fantastic! Amazing food and service, would definitely recommend!
The absolute finest seafood in town, hands down.
Excellent restaurant all around!
Really enjoyed our dinner at the Fishery! What a great evening
The food was great, the room a bit noisy, the service attentive if a bit irritating — waitress interrupted our meal / conversation at least six times to ask how the food tasted.
Great food great service! Atmosphere is relaxed and can be chill or dress up and make it a fancy date night! Will 100% be back!
The Fishery was a lunchtime paradise: the perfect combination of innovative-yet-tasty dishes, very interesting wine list with some surprisingly obscure-but-great selections, and a relaxing ambiance.
The food was exceptionally good. My macadamia crusted halibut was cooked perfectly. Our server was extremely attentive and friendly. The desserts were really good but it would have been nice if there were more options.
It would also be nice if a small salad and crusty bread were included. That’s just our preference. It took a long time to get our food, so it would have been nice to start with a salad and bread that didn’t cost 10.00 for some greens.
From start to finish one the best meals we have had in a long time . We Arrived much earlier than our reservation and the hostess greeted us with a smile and told us no problem. Our waitress was outstanding explaining the menu and making suggestions. Being from the east coast we had to try the chowda and the mussels and they were outstanding. For our main course we had the swordfish for 2 and it was the best swordfish dish we have ever had . Cooked to perfection! We can’t wait to get back to this area so we can try some other menu options.
I had the tomato and basil salad and salmon. Both delicious. Loved the crispy skin on the salmon. Took home about half and am getting ready to have another lovely lunch.
Amazing food and amazing service. Love love this restaurant and the food. The fish is the freshest and best fish I have had & the clam chowder was incredible. A little pricey but is a wonderful restaurant service was also fantastic
Great place! Amazing fresh seafood and Parker was an awesome waiter. We will be back!
Truly one of the best fish spots I’ve ever eaten at. The freshest fish ever and the ambience is super nice along with very nice staff. I cannot recommend this place enough!
Fantastic seafood spot with a great atmosphere. Food was so good, highly recommend the mussels and the lemon tart!
This place is wonderful—excellent food, excellent service!
I love the different selection of oysters each time I come here! So delicious! The clam chowder is hearty, albeit a bit watery. I’m not a huge fan of bacon, but most people are so it works out for others. I had the Caesar salad, which had anchovies IN it, but for some odd reason you couldn’t taste them in the dressing. It was bland. Service was good, and prices were high compared to pre-COVID; however understandable.
The food was outstanding and the service excellent. Exceeded expectations!
We arrived too late to actually see our menus at our outdoor table but our waiter recommended some great choices that met our desires. The basil pesto sauce with the King Salmon dish was superb.
Food was good but service was a disappointment. Don’t think I would go back because of it.
Great food and service. Gem in PB.
Wonderful flavors, delicious seafood- loved the Maine scallops & great wine pairing advice from waiter.
Probably the freshest sushi I have ever had, the crusted halibut dish was fabulous as well as the shrimp pasta dish. Will definitely recommend and be back when I’m in the SD area again! Service was great as well.
Fantastic food. Drinks amazing. Will go back. Loved it. My moved to San Diego is reassured by finding this place.
