   We were a bit disappointed. Our appetizers -- the onion soup and the curry wurst - were fine. The red deer was also good. But my husband said his sauerbraten was one of the worst he'd ever had -- the meat was very dry and he left most of it. We both had the spatzle, which also was not very good. The service was fine. We had looked forward to our dinner here but doubt we'll be back.

   Very tired from all day travel and made reservations at Edge. Very accommodating as our plane arrived late causing us to miss our original reservation time. Nice wines by the glass. Great beer selection. Warm mini pretzels in bread basket hit the spot. Shared a spinach salad which was easily large enough for two. Then very good trout and awesome pork shank. Couldn’t finish either entree as portions are large. Service was attentive to our needs.

   The food was excellent, and the staff was knowledgeable and incredibly attentive and accommodating. The bartenders did a great job on our drinks. Each one of us loved our meal, and HIGHLY recommend! Don’t skip the schnitzel and dessert sampler ;-)

   I booked the group of 5 reservation planning to treat myself to fondue. The restaurant said they were unable to do fondue for only one, so I disappointingly got a salad. That pretty much put me in a not so great mood. Others all responded that their meals were good. Nearig end of our dinner, a table was seated next to us for about 12- parents and children 4-9 approx. If they had been seated next to us earlier in our diner it would have been very very annoying w the loud level. We had to yell to talk to each other, only about 10 minutes luckily.

    We enjoyed a wonderful meal on February 7 and I'm finally taking the time to thank The Edge for the best dinner we had during our 8-day stay at Snowmass. We LOVE this restaurant. The Weiner Schnitzel dinner is the best anywhere, the apple strudel was phenomenal, the service was perfect and they didn't rush us, and the room is quiet and homey. We dine here every year and we shall be back in February, 2024 for sure. Thank you to everyone who made our dinner so pleasant!

    With the exception of the family behind us with two loud small children, our dinner at the Edge was perfect. The service and food were exceptional. We had the soups for starters, Red Deer and the Sauerbraten as our mains, and the Linzer Torte for dessert. The Edge is our favorite restaurant at Snowmass.

    On arrival the host was on the phone but didn't even acknowledge us with a nod or be right with you. Once he hung up he was very friendly. We were seated quickly and given water immediately. Even though it was not yet crowded it did take a little while for our server to arrive. Server was friendly, courteous and knowledgable and answered all our questions. Food arrival seemed a shade slow but they don't rush you through your meal. Appetizers are huge. The currywurst was delicious. We both had veal schnitzel which arrived hot and and was very tasty but unfortunately all the sides were room temp and except for the sweet and sour red cabbage - very good - were just OK. Apple strudel was amazing. Huckleberry bread pudding was very good. We would go back.

    The Edge is a great option for a nice meal out while skiing. It is located in the Timberline condos in Snowmass, Aspen. Service was efficient, friendly but not too intrusive. The dining room was pretty full yet the noise level was still relatively quiet. Our food was excellent. Three of us had the ribeye steak and all of our steaks were cooked perfectly and included the option of two sides (we had fries and vegetables) in the price; which was a pleasant change from having to pay extra for the sides. Most main meals come with an side option included. Other in our party has the schnitzel (choices of veal, chicken or pork), the schnitzel sandwich and the angel hair pasta with chicken. Portions were a good size. For dessert the six of us shared a chocolate fondue with strawberries, bananas, pound cake and marshmallows - it was delicious and a great way to finish the meal.

    A true treasure, right in the heart of Snowmass Village. The food was superb and reasonably priced, and the service was over the top. The ambience can’t be beat. You truly feel like you are in a ski lodge.

    Our favorite Snowmass Village restaurant! And Ilya is our favorite waiter. We sat outside on the patio - it was lovely. The food is always great - the schnitzel was the best it has ever been. Great chocolate cake dessert.

    We come to Snowmass every summer - and when we do, we try to eat at the Edge at least twice. Yes, it's a schlep up to the top of the mountain - but well worth it and you feel virtuous when you decide to indulge in one of their wonderful desserts! Every time we go - great cocktails, the deer, schnitzel, the wursts, the salads, the vegetables - all are cooked to perfection. And the prices are NOT as outrageous as you will find at other places in Snowmass. And one more thing: the staff could NOT be more pleasant and accommodating. I never now why, when I go there, it is not more crowded because I really love their food, ambience, and staff.

    Edge is our "go to" restaurant in Snowmass. We both had the Wienerschnitzel, but with different sauces, and potato pancakes for an app. Two glasses of Hofbrau beer accompanied the dinner. This is one of the best value restaurants in the Aspen/Snowmass market with large pieces of veal and great sides. The veal was tender and the app and sides were delicious. Service was good considering the two large groups. The restaurant is a little out of the way at the top of Snowmass but well worth the trip!
