   What a wonderful little find! So beautiful we ended up staying for the night 🫶 Marone was absolutely fantastic, and the food was simply delicious. Excellent menu, fabulous drinks and the wine list was superb. Cosy, cute - delightful. Unexpected stop after Alton Towers, but at only 10 minutes away would highly recommend for dinner (or indeed an overnight stay!) Thank you 🙏

   What a treat !Thankyou. Great menu ,a little different Well worth the journey Fabulous table service. Our second visit and we're planning the third already Lovely place to meet friends and family for a civilised lunch.Delicious💕

   Good service, offerings, menu & the food was very very tasty. We loved it! The GF basque cheesecake was delicious. Highly recommended.

   This was our second dinner during our stay at the Duncombe Arms and it was equally delicious as the first. We both really enjoyed the grilled monkfish tail with tamarind glaze and curry sauce and aloo gobi.

   We have eaten here a number of times and it has always been excellent. This time we were disappointed. The Sunday lunch menu was a bit odd - one of the starters was a broth and one of the mains ham with parsley sauce which we were not expecting in May. No sign of asparagus or jersey royals. One of us ordered a fish starter which was tiny. It just all felt like corners were being cut on the menu in terms of choices and also when the meals arrived. We will try it again in case it was a bad day but couldn't honestly recommend.

   Busy Saturday evening but super friendly knowledgeable and efficient staff. Food was local, seasonal and delicious

   We stayed at Duncombe Arms overnight to celebrate my husbands birthday and ate at the restaurant. The dining area is lovely, the service was great. Staff were very knowledgeable about the food/wine and extremely friendly. Lots of choice on the menu including fish and vegetarian options. Presentation of the food was excellent as were the flavours. Was perfect…can highly recommend.

   It was an amazing experience from the greeting to the farewell. The Sunday roast was exemplary, with a great variety of wines to choose from. Amazing.

    For Sunday Lunch we found the offering poor. Starters my pate fine , my wife's mackerel very small and poor. Mains mine plaice very small very limited veg, my wife's beef fine. I had a sweet only, treacle tart, small burnt with tiny amount of whipped cream for £11 very poor. Instead of your 10% service charge put your prices up by 10% and let me decide your tip David Brandon
