Situated in the heart of Chiswick with easy transport links from Turnham Green and Chiswick Park, this imposing Victorian corner site is the perfect pub to drink, dine, relax and enjoy.

An extensive wine list and a menu serving the best in seasonal British & Spanish tapas, all cooked fresh on site by our in house team makes for a great outing, day or night.

I feel very lucky to have the Duke of Sussex so near to where I live, it is a superb local pub/restaurant where anyone can go and feel comfortable. I had Sunday lunch with my 80 year old father, (who chewed the ear off the very friendly and patient barman) my husband, my 2 adult daughters and our cockapoo, Aoife, who thinks it is her 2nd home! The food was delicious; my red halibut salad was tasty and healthy - more of this kind of food please! The others had excellent Sunday roasts. Wine is good quality for house white and the general ambience is friendly and relaxed. Staff seem to enjoy their jobs and it shows. Highly recommend.

2 problems -level of background music such that one has to shout at one's dining companion -not relaxing. Waiter got it reduced in the back room on request. Worse was to come. The front room had a quiz night, and the people in there must have been deaf - or at least had their hearing impaired by the end of the evening as the microphone set up was very unpleasantly loud in the other room, for us. I will HEVER go there again on a Sunday evening if they have regular quiz nights. It was unusually empty in the main dining room -maybe other diners already know not to go there on a Sunday evening That pub was my local for many years, and now is only a mile away but I will NEVER go there on a Sunday evening again. Sucha pity as food and service good, but it was WONDERFUL to get outside into the cool and QUIET air

Lovely afternoon spent in the beer garden food tasty... We had both paellas, fish and chips, burger kids and steak all very tasty! Service was very good. Will definitely be back thank you

A Spanish menu pub in a beautiful building. I was just off a 14-hour flight into LHR so not feeling ambitious. Tucked into the prawns in garlic, then the toothsome burger with chips. Married these with a Guinness and a Negroni. Zigzagged home through a series of green spaces. It may be that Duke of Sussex is an extraordinary sublime temple of gastronomy but I would need to push its boundaries to find out. Just too exhausted to do so.

Fantastic tapas, ruined somewhat by a very loud, constantly slamming door that separates the dining room from the garden. It completely killed the ambience and was super annoying.

I'm very lucky to have The Duke of Sussex as my local. It never disappoints but today's food was exceptional. In particular the sole with capers and tomatoes. So simply done, but perfectly cooked and seasoned. Everyone thought it was delicious. No loud music, and excellent, friendly, and, importantly for us, dog friendly staff. I think our dog is treated better than we are! We left feeling it was money well spent and it won't be long before we return, hopefully to sit in their lovely garden in the spring sunshine.
