We are in town for a retirement party and lots of people are also staying here. They have been very accommodating with our large and enthusiastic group as we have taken over one of the rooms off the bar. Our waiter, Joe, has been fantastic! Made the experience even more fun. Great place!!!

The staff were outstanding in their level of service and helpfulness. The place's ambience was truly an Irish bar. The food was great. The only downside to our experience was that on the Sunday night we were there the music was most disappointing. The singer played 4 songs and then we never saw him again!

We sat outside for brunch at the Dubliner. The outdoor seating is completely shaded which was pleasant. The brunch menu provided was more restrictive than the one posted on their website which was disappointing, but the food was excellent. The service was a little slow, but the weather was nice outside so we didn't mind waiting for the food.

We were on a spring break long weekend vacation and the pub was close to our hotel. The food, ambience and pints were the BEST! Traditional fish and chips and a pint of Guinness to fill out bellies after a day of sightseeing! We will be back each and every trip!

The ambiance was wonderful—live Irish music, a beautiful bar filled with people enjoying outstanding pints of Guinness. The food was not as great, however. I ordered potato soup and doubt there were actually potatoes in it. And had a very disappointing shepherds pie for my entree. Barely any meat but lots of brown sauce. That said, my family enjoyed their food, so my advice would be to stick with the basic pub grub on the menu.

What a lovely start to the day! My friend and I met to catch up over breakfast, and I felt like we were being served in a charming little B&B. Our server was excellent. She took great care of us while also recognizing that we valued being given ample time to chat without interruption. The food was delicious! I was voracious and the Irish Breakfast really hit the spot. The coffee was delicious - a must for any quality breakfast experience. I'm now looking for excuses to have breakfast meetings so that I can spend as many mornings at the Dubliner as possible!

An Irish gentleman was so outgoing and kind. He wasn’t our server but made our night! Our server was great by the way. Food was outstanding. Service was wonderful. Would definitely recommend.

When we arrived with our 10:45a reservation, the host stated abruptly “we don’t serve until 11a!” When I informed him that we had a 10:45a reservation, he walked away and exclaimed “Jesus Christ!” Then a manager walked up, and was rude and abrupt as well, although sat us. Our waiter was rushed and had too many tables. Drives me nuts to pay good money and feel like I’m somehow “bothering” the staff!

We very much enjoyed our trip to The Dubliner. We were in DC for the weekend. We often go to Irish pubs in our hometown of Cleveland and live gearing Irish music. Everything was really good. The chicken pot pie was delicious. There was a big variety of draft beers snd we really enjoyed the music in the bar after dinner. The pub itself is very much like a traditional Irish pub, and the woodwork in the bar is beautiful. It was a fun night and I would recommend it to anyone visiting the area

If you are ever in the DC area and want a fun Irish pub, visit Dubliners. Great Food, Great service, and of course great drink selection. There is usually a great irish band to supply great background music for dinner and lively music to carryon the night at the bar. If you are lucky enough to seat in Jonathan's section, he was nothing short of amazing and very attentive. Loved everything about this place

Had the Sheppard’s Pie which was very good and the server was attentive. Place was very crowded on a Saturday evening, a LOT of people standing around pretty much everywhere waiting for tables. Lively atmosphere, not the place for a quiet dinner.

The were there on a Sunday and the were very understaffed. The hostess put our group of four at a small table in the corner and we struggled throughout our meals for space. My grandson loved with max and cheese, the rest of us had the Monte Cristo (?) sandwich which was very large but not particularly wonderful. The manger was filing in for the bartender and we waited for our drinks.

It’s hard not to love the Dubliner if you are a fan of Irish pubs. Like many restaurants, staff seems to be a bit scarcer so service is slower - waited 15 minutes to be served a pint before dinner at our table. Outside patio is wonderful in warmer weather.

My experience was fine. Nothing amazing nothing bad. The food wasn't anything special. We were surprised when the Guineas burger my husband ordered didn't come with a bun. It was basically an Irish Salisbury steak. We like Murphy's in Alexandria much better. The ambiance was nice and the music good, we just like Murphy's better.
