Love returning to this Irish Pub when we’re in DC. Joseph is welcoming and friendly and always strikes up a conversation. Lots of beer choices and Irish dishes. My son said the Chocolate cake was amazing!
Great service and great food! We loved our server and had a wonderful table that was in a tent attached to the restaurant.
Fish and chips was light and seasoned well. The beef stew was cooked perfectly and the meat was tender. The Shepard’s pie was delicious but there is a lot coming at you so I would suggest splitting it with someone.
Entrees came out 45 minutes before the appetizers. Neither were appetizing. We had to ask for water several time and the server brought only one glass for the table of two. The food was honestly horrible.
Food was nothing special. Service was good. Very noisy.
The waiters and management was friendly. They had authentic Irish food, good beer and a cozy atmosphere. We always go out of our way to have dinner here when we're in DC
Go to spot for Irish food and beverages! We ordered Irish Reubens and they were delicious!
The Dubliner is the best Irish pub in the DC area and has been for a long time. The service is exceptional and all of the Colemans make you feel very welcome. Go enjoy yourself and enjoy a pint.
Welcoming and attentive staff. Great patio option for al fresco dining near the Capitol Building. Responsible table distancing. Festive music. Best pints in town, to boot.
As always, the Dubliner was great. Good food, good service, and great atmosphere - plus great Irish music that was not too loud or soft but just right.
Great place, really nice people. Used to come here all the time before everything went south. It was nice to be able to go again.
Awesome Guinness and pub fare. Best bartenders. What a time!
I was there on Valentine’s Day with my friend and I can say that,we found our “to go” place now.Very cool place!!!!
We love the Dubliner-always such great service and food, staff makes a point to remember you if you are a repeat goer and it never fails to deliver a cozy yet spacious environment!
Great place to unwind!
Enjoyed a tasty beef stew and the atmosphere with friends.
Always a pleasure.
Can't wait to sit at the bar again and have an Irish country breakfast with a Kilkenny.
I ate a weekday lunch at The Dubliner with a friend on 5 November 2020. Their COVID-19 countermeasures were pretty good: Well-spaced tables on their enclosed patio, and hand sanitizer arrived with the check. My friend got the shepherd's pie, which was a very generous portion and meaty and potatoey and delicious. I had the "Beef on Weck" sandwich and a bowl of cream of potato soup, which were also excellent. Service was attentive.
We were given seating on a covered porch with windows which were wide open and letting in a good air flow. The traffic from the street was a bit noisy at times but not too bad. We were socially distanced from other tables. My Smoked Salmon Rueben was delicious and the waiter was very attentive and friendly. My husband and friend got the Fish and Chips and they both were very happy with their choice. It worked out very well for us as a place to bring a friend to for lunch and we were grateful to be able to find street parking.
Authentic and charming Irish pub! Staff were attentive and welcoming. I'm glad we booked a table it was busy! Felt very safe there was ample distance between other diners.
Very good Irish pub experience. I have been going there for over 20 years on business and it served as a great place to get things done. Now retired I brought family and they had a great meal and service with good measures for Covid while dining inside.
Delicious burgers, great service. Thank you!
Always a good evening at the Dubliner!! Tasty food, the Shepard's Pie is great as is the Reuben... good selection of beers.... nice area to eat outside or the enclosed porch.
