   Date Nite or just to show you Love your Partner! The newly remodeled Dock was excellent as usual, met by the door by Erick, we were introducing new friends to The Dock, it truly made an impression. The seasonal items were a delight, the food was prepared and served in an excellent manner. Great presentation, the beet salad was very nice. The sauces with the fish really went well and we had an excellent wine recommended which was perfect. Cheers Ron & Pam

   Great customer service and seated immediately . Food outstanding and well presented . Love the restaurant - not a lot can do about noise level but maybe part of charm

   The Dock can be overlooked easily because it is tucked away in the mixed residence/business neighborhood by Newport Bay. If you missed it, that would be a shame. Their menu is small but versatile and the chef knows their stuff. The ambience is casually elegant, with the open-air facing of the bay, but otherwise enclosed. The staff is quietly attentive and the food selections are lovely as well as tasty.

   Love the Dock. The ambiance is excellent. It was a warm night ; the room was open to Newport Beach harbor. We had a great view of the boats sailing by. The food, as always, was excellent. All meals were cooked to perfection. The service was great. Our only complain was the $75 corkage fee. The wine list was extensive, but most wines are more than $200/bottle, which seems excessive.

   Some of the best food in Newport Beach. Salmon, Ahi and Halibut were excellent. Perfectly prepared and fresh. Service is a rare combination or friendly and professional. Great location. one of our favorites in the OC

   From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by the cozy yet elegant ambiance of the restaurant. The lighting, décor, and overall atmosphere struck the perfect balance between upscale and inviting, immediately setting the tone for what would become a truly memorable evening. As this was our first visit, we decided to try a variety of dishes to get a full sense of the menu—and we’re so glad we did. Every single item we ordered, from the soup and appetizers to the main courses, was exceptional. The flavors were incredibly well balanced—rich and layered without being overpowering—and every dish was thoughtfully seasoned. The lamb, in particular, stood out: unbelievably tender and cooked to perfection, it practically melted in our mouths. Presentation was another highlight. Each plate arrived looking like a work of art, clearly prepared with care and attention to detail. It’s rare to find a place where both the flavors and aesthetics of the food are so well aligned. What truly elevated the entire experience, though, was the service—especially from Tiffany. Her warmth, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality made us feel right at home. She anticipated our needs before we could even voice them, offered insightful recommendations, and somehow managed to be both incredibly professional and warmly personable at the same time. It’s rare to encounter such impeccable service alongside such incredible food, and Tiffany made our night unforgettable. Huge kudos to the entire team for flawlessly executing everything, from the kitchen to the front of house. And Tiffany—thank you. I meant it when I said I’ll be back to visit, even if it means going out of my way next time I’m in California. You made a lasting impression.
