One of the best meals my wife and I have ever had. We had the three course prix fixe menu option and they were all well prepared and the presentation was excellent. The waitstaff was attentive and knowledgable. We couldn't have asked for a better evening out.

The dining room is spacious and tables well spaced. Our experience was top notch from the greeting by the hostess to our last sip of wine. The wait staff was both professional and personable. Food was interesting, well prepared and beautifully plated.

Food was great! Our waitress, Danielle and the whole staff were outstanding. Desmond, her assistant, was also very attentive. The gentleman who served each course told us exactly what was on the plate. It was our anniversary and they really made it special. Thank you!

Great service. Great staff. Menu choices we limited and expensive for the food choices and quantity. Trying to be more fru-fru. I love a good steak house and have no issues with paying a healthy price for good food but this one is missing the mark. Will not return.

Not as opulent as I had anticipated... meals were good but not as fine as other restaurants we have had the pleasure of dining at. We did appreciate quiet conversation.

The Dining Room was a delightful surprise! I booked a reservation with a little bit of concern that it was a hotel restaurant, but the restaurant and experience were really lovely. Everything was very delicious and the entire group was pleased with their choices--from appetizers to desserts, everything was perfectly done. We would definitely have dinner there again. We had the $65 three-course dinner which was more than enough for each of us, and well worth price.

Really enjoyed the opportunity to try the Dining Room at Biltmore Inn -- sounded great on open table and decided to take a chance -- it was worth it -- food was beautifully plated -- dishes were unique and the watermelon sangria was a treat! Your servers were very attentive and informative -- really enjoyed:)

The appetizers and desserts were very good. The bread was amazing, crispy outside and soft and flaky inside. My husband ordered ribeye, medium rare. It was dry aged, but it was a little stringy and not as tender as expected. I ordered a filet mognon, medium, which was my mistake. It was charred outside, well done mostly, and lightly pink on the innermost part. I should have ordered medium rare or even rare. It was very tender and flavorful, however. The service and ambience are outstanding.

Delicious food, impeccable and attentive service, abundant servings, lovely room, window table have views. Got the prix fixe 3 course meal. Can't imagine doing the 5. We took our 3rd course of dessert back to room. Definitely recommend for the fine dining opportunities and events.

Our eldest daugter's wedding was on the lawn followed by sit-down dinner inside the Inn two years ago. Perfect event options as well.

Expected a 5 star experience but was only average. Hostesses were friendly and the beverage server was great. The ambiance was lacking; tables were too close to be able to have a conversation between the two of us. The hype of the formal setting and quality of the actual dinner is overrated. Our 3 course meal took just under two hours. Other diners who showed up after us, were finished in a timely manner. The time between courses seemed much longer than a usual 3 course meal. Our final course finally came out w one of our meals not as ordered and server never came by until meal was pretty much finished. The servers lack of attention was a little annoying.

We enjoyed several visits to The Dining Room during our recent stay at the Biltmore Inn. Breakfast buffet is phenomenal, with made-to-order eggs and waffles. Beautiful fresh fruit!

Afternoon tea was such a treat! We enjoyed a cheese plate and savory canapes, ending with sweet canapes. Finally, a dinner...the three-course prix fixe menu was creative and delicious. The beautiful surroundings made every trip to The Dining Room a special event.

What a wonderful anniversary dinner. Our waitress was so attentive from the moment we sat down. Both of our meals were outstanding, complimented by Biltmore Syrah and Pinot Grigio wines. The chef even surprised us with Happy Anniversary written on a dessert plate very thoughtful. We had a window view, and watched the dramatic skyline change as the sun set. Couldn’t ask for a better ambience, meal, and service, for our special day!

Food not memorable; service good except for the fact that after telling the individual who called to confirm my reservation and twice telling our server that one of our guests required gluten free food, she was twice presented with a salad that had croutons. The cost was exorbitant inasmuch as we had little choice but to accept a dessert that we rarely order. I would not go back.

If you are staying at the Inn on Biltmore Estate, it is a nice place to celebrate a special occasion. It is a bit noisy for quiet conversation or to be romantic and unfortunately some people still don’t know what appropriate attire is and the restaurant doesn’t insist on it. That takes away from the ambiance and the upscale environment they are trying to create. It was good but not memorable.

The Dining Room is The Inn on Biltmore Estate’s fine dining venue.

Elegant. Beautiful views of the mountains depending on your table so you may want to request a window. A three and six course price fixe. As with any fine restaurant an amuse bouche and palette cleansing sorbet is included.

The wine list is extensive and priced at what you’d expect at such a restaurant.

Notable was the service which was impeccable.

You must be staying at the Inn or have tickets to tour The Biltmore House to be able to dine there.

If you can afford it, by all means do it.

We had a very good experience. Wait staff was engaging without being intrusive. Scott was very personable and knowledgeable about the menu.
The atmosphere was lovely and not overdone. The menu selection was very creative, eclectic and provided us an opportunity to try something new. We will visit again.

My wife and I both were very disappointed by our one evening dining in the Inn's main ding room. My wife's lobster was "tasteless"...part tasted freezer burned. My filet steak was dry and below average. We expected a "Four Star" dinner, but all we received was a "Four Star" price. If we return to the Inn, we will avoid the main dining room in favor of other options.

They’ve gone a little too frufru. Halibut had no seasoning and was served over corn kernels that had scraped too far into the husk. Filet was good, cooked perfectly for well done, but, served on a bed of collards that were over cooked and bitter. The whole meal was Way over priced for what you get, and not a lot of ‘normal’ selection. While it may be what the Vanderbilt’s ate, I prefer taste and depth of flavor when paying so much for a meal. Next time, I’ll go to Ruth’s Chris.

Experience was below our expectations. The price fixe 3 course meal was not price fixe but had markups on a number of items. Wine list stongly favored Biltmore Wines. Anything but Biltmore wines had an excessive markup and very limited "by the glass" alternatives. Filet mignon was correctly prepared medium rare but was flavorless with no smoke or rub. Advised that was wifes birthday which they acknowledged at checkin but no special treatment. Saving grace was our server Andrea...she was terrific.

We have dined at the Biltmore Inn Dining Room for our anniversary 5-6 times previously and have always more than pleased with our experience. As always before, the service and atmosphere were exceptional and our waiter was terriffic. However, we were disappointed with the main courses for the first time ever. My filet mignon was well done as opposed to my request for medium, which I emphasized with our waiter. I had read several reviews where the steaks were overcooked so I made a point of mentioning that I wanted my steak medium. The flavor was still very good and the cut of meat wasn't tough, but I was disappointed that the order wasn't prepared properly. My wife's pork portions were extremely small. Luckily she likes her steak more on the well side so I was able to share my filet with her. Vegetable portions were small also. My mashed potatoes were basically a table spoon spread on my plate. Even my waiter asked me if I would like a larger portion of potatoes when he handed me my plate. I wish I had taken him up on his offer. My wife's dessert was fabulous and my coconut rice pudding had absolutely no flavor. I have only written one review in my life prior to this one but was basically disappointed with the quality of the food at The Dining Room. I thought I would never say that, but will definitely go back and hopefully the dining experience will be as great as before.
