Nice pub with outdoor area Sadly out of 7 guest, 3 got ill in the night after dinner One of the starter got forgotten so one of the guest had to wait for hers to come. In top of this, we got charged for a the wrong bottle of wine (the waitress brought a more expensive one than the one we ordered), when the bill came and we realised the wrong bottle was charged, the waiter told us that it was our responsibility to check the label and as we have drank it, we should pay for it!!!! The cheek! After discussions, they agreed to charge us for the wine we have originally ordered. Overall not a great experience.

Nice variety of starters and main dishes. Good variety of beer on draught. Chicken breast was especially nice. Tuscan sausage was a very good version of bangers and mash.

The food is very good, a step up from pub food, very delicious, well presented. Sitting outside is on, not amazing. Service was exceptional

What a great find, we had lunch early at 12.15 so pretty empty (and for a Thursday). Food was nice although a little lacking some 'basic' menu items for those a little fussy or less 'posh'...LOL It was recommneded by my client who works locally

As always pretty damn good!! Great service as always Only gripe for me is that cocktails…at£13…. Bit steep Make’em a bit cheaper between 6-7 maybe Just a thought Thanks !! Great chips !

Sadly a very noisy group made the evening a wash out as we couldn’t hear ourselves think let alone talk. Everyone had the burger and unlike its sister pubs The Anglesea and the Swan, the burger was very dry and unappetising. Perhaps an off night? But we wouldn’t return.
