The Crow’s Nest Restaurant, Tavern and Marina has been serving the Venice, FL community since 1976. With the freshest seafood and most flavorful dishes, the Crow’s Nest strives to prides itself on providing 5-star experiences for their guests each and every time they visit.

The upstairs dining room provides a fine dining experience with a fantastic view of the water for lunch or dinner. The wood-paneled and cozy tavern downstairs serves for a more casual experience and is open all day.
Both dining areas do not allow pets-Service Animals only!

You can also enjoy their full-service marina, offering overnight dockage, gas and diesel pumps, and all the supplies you need for a day or week on the water. You can also rent their one or two person kayaks, bicycles and more!

    Tried the Savor Sarasota and ordered the salmon, husband ordered the seafood pasta, another salmon And fried captains platter. Everyone’s meal was delicious. Our service was great and thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Haven’t been to Crows Nest in a very long time,will be going back.

    Four of us ordered the Flounder Piccata on the Savor Sarasota menu. One person found it not done enough and strange taking. Another diner's flounder was very overdone - almost liquid. Coating was not well done - vey wet. These two did not finish their meal. Two folks liked the sauce but found the dish overall "meh". Rice was bland but fries were good. Green beans looked done properly but had strange taste that couldn't be identified. No bread offered. Have enjoyed Crow's Nest in the past but was very disappointed in this meal and would seriously reconsider coming again. Server was pretty attentive but didn't ask about meal, even when plates returned with little food eaten.

    Seared tuna and salmon entrees were very good, nicely seasoned, and good sized portions. Service was friendly and attentive. Nice view and good value.

    Service and food was very good . Benjamin has a sense of humor and nice way about him. My only problem was the fried fish had too much covering on it.

    Absolutely delicious dinner and drinks!! My only wish was that we got a waterfront table, as requested. But I guess I should have requested sooner. Everything was excellent!

    Our reservation was on a Monday at 7:30. We arrived on time and we were seated immediately. Service was very good. Nice, friendly and informed on the dishes when we had questions. My husband ordered the coconut shrimp and grouper. It was pretty good, however heavily breaded. I ordered the opened faced seafood ravioli. It was good. We split a Caesar salad, which was also good. We should’ve ordered this dressing on the side. Drinks were not as good as I hope they would be. I’m sure we will return however it will be in the bar and we will probably just order appetizers and stick to simple drinks.
