The Crow's Nest
Absolutely! Always do! Danielle was probably the best server I’ve had there in 25 years! She should be commended, you’re lucky to have her!
Excellent improvement on the clam chowder and the shrimp bisque is still fabulous! Don’t like the change in the flatbread crackers though; the old ones were my absolute favorites!
Really disappointed that i made the reservation in my name weeks ago and after we were there my guest got a $5.00 coupon for the restaurant; what’s with that???? I made the reservation!
Had a fabulous early dinner. Great priced $18 selections before 6pm. Excellent service and delicious food. Even though it was special priced, they didn’t skimp on portions.
Our server, Zach, was exceptional! The food was delicious and having a reservation was perfect...
Outstanding! One of the best places to eat in Venice, FL.
Drews service was phenominal
Great food with a phenominal view
Excellent food, service and location. Can't beat the ambiance on the water.
Excellent service & food.My wife & I have been here many times.Highly recommend.You won,t be disappointed
My martini was well prepared and satisfied my taste. The shrimp cocktail was with four large shrimp, just right. Dinner was filet mignon medium rare for me and Coquilles St Jacques for my wife. Both entrees were perfect. Our server Dani was right on top of everything. Our table was right by the window so we could observe the goings on by the docks.
View compliments the excellent service (thanks Sally) and tasty cuisine.
The entire evening was lovely-from the seating, Andrea who shakes a perfect martini and tends to your needs, the ambiance, the very fair pricing and the quality of the food. A "wonderful last evening in Venice" experience. We'll be back.
We had an awesome dinner this week at the Crows Nest. We have dined there numerous times in the past few years. This was by far, the best experience we have enjoyed. Service, food, quality _ everything was wonderful. Highly recommend it, for fine dining in Venice, Florida.
Over the past 15+ years the Crow's Nest has never disappointed. Some of the staff come and go, as do menu items but the food and service remain excellent. Worth repeated visits.
Online reservation was easy
Sat outside great view, awesome food and top notch service..(Michelle)
Recommend to anyone
Good, hot, French Dip sandwich, nice location.
Comfortable atmosphere for adults.
Lunch menu is more appealing to me. Love the salads and seafood dishes offered at lunch. The food for dinner was just mediocre and blah esp for the high price. Won't go back for dinner.
We enjoyed our evening at the Crow's Nest. The occasion was our anniversary and the setting was ideal. We have used the Crow's Nest in the past and we were not disappointed this time. Probably the only problem with the evening was that it took a rather long time to prepare our Salmon dinners and we were not given any explanation as to why that occurred. The meal, when it came, was delicious.
Our first visit to the Crows Nest was superb from beginning to end. The bar service was good. The outdoor patio and food were fantastic and our server, Nancy, could not have been better... we’ll definitely be back!
Had a great time, good food & service, and great table location with a view!
We have been to Crow's Nest many times before but we all thought this time was truly exceptional: the menu was fantastic, the water views fantastic, our server Brittany was so knowledgeable and positive. Then the food came and it exceeded our expectations!! All agreed we will be back soon!
Super views. Excellent staff, wonderfully trained. Delicious food, nice portions.
Noise level was a problem in our party of four. Consequently we couldn’t enjoy each other’s company as we would have liked.
Lovely view of the marina from the dining room upstairs.
Will eat in the gazebo next time.
Lunch - the little muffin was lost on the plate.
A starch with the entree would have been nice.
Entrees were very good. Pasta seafood and the other was swordfish.
A small salad with entree would be suggested.
Dessert Key Lime Pie was tooo sweet.
My wife and I had a superb lunch at the Crow's Nest on September 30. We ate on the upstairs patio and view is delightful. We both had salads and entrees which were excellent. Our server was friendly and attentive but did not bother us. We enjoyed a bottle of wine with lunch and considered our drive up from Cape Coral to be time will worth it for such a lovey lunch together. We will go back as often as we can.
Had a great meal and a great server. Everyone was friendly and the views were great. Good meal deals before 6pm!
Delicious lunch n excellent service. Great food! Beautiful view of the inter coastal. Would highly recommend!
Everything was terrific! The setting was comfortable, the food was delivered and our server was outstanding. We will certainly return.
We always enjoy the steak at the crows nest especially 😊
One of our favorite places to dine. We especially love the veranda for lunch. Usually excellent service.
Food was excellent, service was great and the view was fantastic. We were upstairs in the main dining area
Awesome atmosphere. Sat in the outside deck with great views of the ICW at sunset. Wait staff were fabulous, friendly and very competent. Head waiter obviously loved her work. Raw bar and food were top notch. It was a pleasure to spend the evening at the crows nest. Will be back soon.
Great service. Food choices are excellent. Views are great.
We had the best experience at The Crow's Nest. Excellent service, incredible views - especially at sunset. My husband and I were in town for just five nights and we ended up at the crow's nest twice!
We celebrated our wedding anniversary here and enjoyed it. Good food, decent prices and exceptional service from Carly and her team! We look forward to eating here again!
Great atmosphere and service. The kitchen was somewhat careless with delivering what was ordered. Management made sure that we were happy.
Wonderful meal with my wife and a friend we had not seen in more than four years. We has a 6:30 PM reservation and were seated promptly. (Make a reservation. There were people waiting to be seated.) The Nest has a superb wine list on which we found a bargain California Rose that nicely complemented the dishes we each selected. Service was initially very good but it took a while to get our bill when our waiter had become very busy.
This was the second time eating here after only being in the area a week. The ups stairs dining gives you a great view of a coastal channel, you can choose inside or outside dining. Both times we were greeted warmly by all the staff. Our servers have been amazing. The food selections are varied, but we always choose the special in a restaurant we plan on going back to. The fish is fresh and the portions generous.
Great ambiance. Changed recipe for Seafood bisque but it’s not as good as before. House wine was a bit stale. Baked scallops were awesome. Sides were cold and bland. Molten lava cake was not heated through but still good. Key lime pie was room temperature and cream was warm. Coffee was served cold but they replaced with a new cup. Service was steady but not very friendly or helpful.
We've been to the Crow's Nest many times over the past 20 years. Maybe it was an off night but the crab cake was burned on both sides (frozen??) and the flat bread appetizer was soggy. Disappointing for me. However my husband enjoyed his steak and our companions liked their dinners. Perhaps I just ordered the wrong things.
I took my wife and her twin sister to the Crow's Nest for their birthday. Their brother also joined us. Alex the server was great, she was very professional, knew the menu and was very nice. I would request her again, but from what I saw, all the servers were very good. The food was excellent, moderately priced for the area and the type of food they serve. I had the broiled Captain's platter, it was very good and there was plenty of food. We all shared the flatbread appetizer, very good. A basket of rolls and sesame crackers were also provided and we even got a second basket they were so good and complimentary. We were too full for dessert but Alex brought a couple of slices of delicious Key Lime Pie for the Birthday Girls, with a lit candle. Very nice touch. We will definitely go back when in the area.
We always enjoy our trips to Crows Nest. We have experienced a great welcome, personable/helpful waiter/waitress and a great meal. The view and setting of the Crow's Nest makes dining so enjoyable--even in the midst of a tropical storm (which we experienced once)--enjoying the same wonderful meal and service. We highly recommend!!!
