Simply put, it was our 58-wedding anniversary. I ordered a medium raw filet mignon; however it was not a filet mignon, it was a filet, dry and over cooked. I sent it back; it came back medium and cool. Typically, the filet should have been sizzling and the plate hot too touch. My wife ordered a fish dinner, nothing special and it was nothing special. The waiter was nice, but seemed a bit upset that I was not happy. This restaurant is pricey. I can get very good service and sizzling steaks at Myron's or Ruth Chris or most of Boerne's restaurants. As far as our 58th, we will celebrate again at a place that appreciates our business and hopes for a special night. I would highly recommend you question and decisions on eating at the Creek. I have a feeling their past patrons are eating elsewhere. Doug Kruse

Beautiful tables set in an idyllic setting. Attentive staff. Delicious food and fine drinks. Pricey but worth a splurge. Would visit again.

Although I am a regular customer, this is the first time I have tried the Sunday brunch. My son came with me for Father's Day. While the usual menu items are not available there was no shortage of delicious treats to choose from. We tried the salad, smoked salmon, and shrimp cocktail pieces and they were all really good, although I suggest that the display bowl of shrimp should be placed on ice for food safety reasons and it was not. There were so many hot items that it's hard to know where to start and it wasn't possible for us to try all of them. We both selected the homemade biscuits and gravy, along with sausage links, bacon, and each had a made to order omelet which was sizeable and delivered to the table piping hot. Following this we were pretty full and took a breather to enjoy our included drinks--a Bloody Mary, and delicious White and Red Sangrias. There were also Mimosas and Pina Coladas available. Each person receives two alcohol beverages as a part of the price of $59 each, which made it a great value. Among those things that looked incredible, but we were simply too full to try: Fried Chicken and Waffles, a hot Shrimp dish, twice baked mashed potatoes, two other kinds of chicken dishes, and a roast beef carving station. I'd like to add that all of these items were regularly replenished, and the buffet never looked tired or picked over during our visit. You can't always say that at other restaurants. We did manage to each make room for a slice of homemade Key Lime Pie, which was perfect! In all, while $59 per person might seem steep to some, I think that considering the breadth of selections and the quality of the food (plus included adult beverages), it's actually an incredible value. Too bad my wife and I work weekends or otherwise we would come more often. However, this visit makes me want to take off on an occasional Sunday just to enjoy this brunch. Under the ownership/direction from Jean Tardif, The Creek continues to improve!

The noise level was very high and an unruly loud kid was allowed in the bar area. We requested another table away from the madness and the noise level was better. When leaving the restaurant, the two young girls working the hostess station were laughing uncontrollably and appeared to be making fun of customers. Maturity of junior high schoolers. Probably won’t be back.

My bride and I were celebrating our 55th anniversary with a nice lunch at The Creek Restaurant. It is one of our three favorite restaurants in the San Antonio area. My bride ordered the Grilled Wedge Salad and I ordered the Blackened Chicken Salad. Both entrees were delicious, full meals. The bread was fresh and warm. The service was absolutely top-notch, and all of the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The overall experience was wonderful.

Sunday was our 1st time for brunch and like all the other times we have eaten at The Creek we were not disappointed. The food was excellent and the staff was superb! Josh runs a tight ship!
