THE COTTAGE, is a warm and welcoming new restaurant by Chef Brian Lewis, which embraces the local community and is greatly influenced by the artisan farmers and growers in our region. Chef Brian's creative take on American cooking offers an exciting menu of hand-crafted dishes, inspired by techniques and cultures from various regions around the globe. Our food, wine and signature cocktails are paired with gracious hospitality in a warm and cozy setting.                                                                 Tasty but over priced….left hungry …great service, nice ambiance. The halibut was about $20 too much in price for what it was. The octopus was disappointing. Tuna crudo was good.

                                                                We've dined here many times before, tonight we tried the 10 course tasting menu. Let me just say, at the end of our experience chef asked us what was our favorite, ALL of it!! We couldn't pick a favorite everything presented to us was outstanding. In addition to the excellent meal, we could appreciate the dynamic among the staff, they worked together seamlessly like a family. We can't wait to go back!

                                                                Outstanding experience! We chose the 10 year tasting for my birthday, and the service and especially the food was out of this world! From my husband's booking experience with Ralph, the hospitable and knowledgable staff, all the way through our interactions with chefs Brian and Christian, we couldn't have asked for a more thoughtful menu or greater attention to our dining experience. The food is beyond stellar, with surprises around every corner (I never would have thought that two weeks later I'd still be thinking about an emulsion made with sea snails, of all things!) The staff went out of their way to make my birthday experience wonderful, and both chefs spoke with us like they had nothing better in the world to do, even though they had two full restaurants to attend to. This restaurant, from food , to service, to ambiance, to food is an absolute must.

                                                                I’ve wanted to The Cottage for years. Tonight we went to celebrate my cousin’s milestone birthday. Service was good and not overbearing. Food was delicious. We split the gem salad, each got a main course, and we couldn’t resist two desserts.

                                                                Another amazing meal from the Cottage, the Mothers Day 4 course meal was delicious. My wife, son and I had/shared every dish! To complete the meal the cappuccino was hot, well made and complimented the scrumptious deserts.

                                                                We came to The Cottage in Westport for a birthday dinner and were completely blown away. Every dish was exceptional—hands down the best deviled eggs, fish, and lamb we’ve ever had. The cocktails were perfectly crafted, and the carrot cake for dessert was absolutely unforgettable. The only downside was the noise level—it was pretty loud and made conversation a bit difficult. Still, the food and service more than made up for it. Can’t wait to go back!
