The Coriander - Blackheath
I don't normally do reviews myself and friend visited and this place is a hidden gem the food was beautifully cooked plenty flavours in the food. I am very fussy where I eat. The staff were lovely, the only downfall is the place is small and the tables are quite closed to each other. I got this on a wowcher deal so was limited to what myself and friend could have. If you do get the wowcher please check as you do not get the sides and rice with main. Nevertheless I did order some food and was not disappointed. Definitely will be back.
We booked through the OpenTable app, but the restaurant had no record of our booking when we arrived. Food is always good. Due to the restaurant having a large party booked, the service wasn't great. We clearly had one of their family/friends attend to our table as he had no idea how to competently clear a table or carry multiple items in one trip. The staff also didn't understand gluten free allergies. We had to guess which dishes would be suitable. We used our Gormet Society card so the discount was helpful but would have been disappointing if we hadn't used that. Sadly we were in and out in an hour! Only visited twice before so hopefully this won't be our experience again.
Went there for Mother’s Day. Lovely meal. Only thing I thought it would be somewhere near blackheath village!!!
We were looking for something nice to eat at o2 but decided to get a taxi to a local Indian. Nice restaurant and the food was delicious. Staff were attentive and recommended some side dishes. Good choice.
Excellent service food was wonderful and hot and the ambience was lovely, clean efficient and superb food
The food were really really good. Lovely and helpful staff. Comfortable dining space and so much value for my money. Thanks to all team members of The Coriander!!
The service was quite bad, the food was kind of bad as well and took forever to come. The next day I had the runs because of this food and my whole body smelt like their food. I have been to many different Indian restaurants around London, because that is what I do, and this is, by far, the worst one. Flies everywhere, dusty menu, scratches on the cutlery. No thank you.
Friendly service and lovely food
Ruined my day. The food is plain bald. Doesn't serve the wine what's displayed in the menu rather then serves some cheap stuff. The menu says shiraz2004 but serves us a crap Shiraz of 2014.when complained about to the manager, argues back it still is a Shiraz and is the replacement of the one which is in the menu? Hello? You should at least let guest know that you don't have certain wine and got replacement of that rather then just pouring it. Hahaha funny part was his claim that in his 11 years career, no one has complaint about wine being served instead of the one in the menu. Also he says menu was printed in 2004, so they don't change menu every time the wine changes? What a joke instead serves some cheap wine without letting guest know that they don't have certain wines. Honestly, I don't complain at all when there's some human error most of the time finding hairs, plactics, raw food, burnt food, etc. But I can't tolerate the dishonesty. Never ever going to this place
friendly staff, but food average. Price was reasonable and ambience was not bad. The lamb we had was chewy and tough and not of good quality. The mango lassi was nothing to boast about. The deserts options only included ice creams.
