   I was with my two young boys and we had tickets to the children’s theater, so we were in a little hurry. We appreciated the food coming out fast, and Jack was our server and did great. The food was delicious ! We were a little chaotic for the place, but it went really well. We appreciate it!

   We came here for a bachelorette dinner, and the restaurant was the perfect blend of elegant and casual. Our server was lovely and checked on us often. The food and drinks were amazing. Everyone in our party got something different and no one was disappointed.

    Visited The Copper Hen for the first time on Mother's Day. We had previewed the menu and were pretty excited about a few of the items we wanted to try, not realizing it was the Mother's Day buffet. It was fun, great atmosphere and our server was excellent, so sweet. The food was good but hella expensive due to the buffet. The only other downside was parking. I would definitely add in extra travel time in order to find parking. Overall, very glad we went. Will definitely be back to try some of the menu items. Seriously, how could anything with Cakery in the name be bad?! :)

    I wonder how theycould run out of food when the know how many reservations they had fo Mothers Day brunch! A $54 brunch that doesnt include beverages? mostly lower end nothing special items. my short rib was meaty but very dried out. I have never eaten a dry short rib, seems impossible. Fried chicken was good but would have benefited from cream gravy that was served with cheese bisquits. Disappointed.

    Food was great as was the service. We were there for our 9AM reservation on a Saturday. Nice restaurant. Clean. The music was a little loud for 9AM but they turned it down after a few minutes. For those who are hard of hearing, like me, this is not the ideal place when they get busy. It did get loud as more and more people came in. By 10AM as we were finishing up, the sound level was to a point that I couldn't really hear the conversation at our table. We really enjoyed the food and the service. If they could find a way to help soften the sound then I would make it a 5 star that I would want to come back to again and again.

    Wait staff were awesome. Food was very good. My wild boar fettuccini was delicious but could of been hotter. My carrot cake cupcake was a little dry but frosting was excellent. Maybe was in case to long. Definitely would go back.

    Spent $100 on date night here. The kale from the salad was very tough and hard to chew with little flavor from the dressing. My partner got the 4oz Manhattan and it was half fat, under seasoned and cooked well done when he ordered medium. The potatoes served were also unseasoned. Not only that but the serving for this meal was what you'd expect for a small child. I got the pan roasted chicken, which was flavorful and juicy however the risotto it was served with had no seasoning at all. It was also just that, chicken and risotto, no vegetables or anything.. They gave my partner the parmesan chicken sandwich as he sent it back. It was also flavorless and the fries were overcooked and again un seasoned. We got the skillet cookie for dessert and it had the tiniest scoop of ice cream for the size of the cookie, it was over cooked, and tasted like store bought cookie dough. Best part of the meal was the soft pretzel and the mystery wine. I would expect this quality of food from a TGI Friday's. Our waitress was very kind however we will not be back. $100 down the drain.

    Super busy Saturday brunch. All the food was good but I took off one star for over poached eggs on the benedict and the bread pudding French toast was a little burnt. The atmosphere was great and we didn't feel rushed so we could sit and catch up with friends.

    Haven’t been here in years - great place for breakfast or brunch! Close to MIA. Hand made salad dressings and pastries and a laid back atmosphere. Veggie omelet was excellent as was the quiche. Vegetarian options! Friendly staff. Clean and well lit. Service was disjointed and very slow throughout our entire experience.

    I’ve come to copper hen and cow for years and at this point im unsure as to why I keep coming back. We had 12:45 reservations and didn’t speak with a server for the first time until 30-40 minutes later. Our server was sweet and gracious and did a great job of bringing drinks to our table (once we were able to order) but a very unpleasant woman who was sat after us and arrived later then we had, received her food before we were even able to speak with our server. That was a two top and we had three people so it’s not a a matter of being unable to accommodate. We finally ordered drinks when that other table was cleared. We had a table full of service industry people who are understanding and patient but for over priced, below average food, I’d hope the atmosphere would make up for it. Overall food was mid, service should of been great due to our kind server and an over abundance of food runners but was extremely lacking and was excessively over priced for the quality of food and experience.

    Horrible buffet! Place was also filthy. Food has no taste but salt and garlic. A lot to choose from but none of them are good. Beef was way salty, salad was poorly prepared, fruits were thawed, not fresh. Bread, muffins, other pastries, and french were hard. Spilled food all over the floor. It was a bad choice for Easter brunch buffet.

    Our review is specific for the Easter Brunch Buffet. For regular meal service, you will have a completely different experience. For a holiday buffet, I will not choose the Copper Hen again. The buffet was always out of food, and there was no clean up of the buffet line so accumulated food and sauces were all over the bar and the mess was very unappealing. For some of the items, you had to lift off a large metal lid, but there was no where to set the lid and no where to set your plate, so it was challenging to take a portion. Also, the buffet was set up on a bar in the middle of the room, which made flow of traffic challenging. There was a second buffet set up in the other room, also on a bar, and it seemed to have a slightly better flow but also blocked the way to the bathrooms. There were a few excellent food items but much of the menu was below expectation. The glazed salmon was delicious, the potatoes were delicious. The lobster frittata was odd tasting, the deviled eggs were terrible and most of the desserts were either dry or lacking flavor (in particular, everyone in my party found the cinnamon rolls disappointing). I would not recommend this restaurant for a holiday buffet. However, go on a regular weekday and be sure to have the cookie skillet for dessert--this does not disappoint!

    I think buffet service was a bit challenging, both in getting people through the lines and in keeping the food restocked. Definitely issues keeping hot foods hot and cold foods cold. The variety of food was nice. Service was excellent. I look forward to coming back on a regular Sunday morning.

    Ordered the French Onion Burger, it was bland and greasy, the bun fell apart and the fries looked like the leftover broken bits from the fryer. I understand they do a popular brunch so maybe they’re better at breakfast fare but an $18 burger should’ve disappointing.
