The Chase is our passion for casual elegance. Our rooftop restaurant highlights what we love most about upscale dining, and presents it in a modest, welcoming and thoughtful way. Our ongoing chase for the finest ingredients from around the world coupled with simple and uncomplicated flavours is the foundation for our culinary philosophy. Using refined techniques from Italian and French cuisines we formed a menu that can be best described as Contemporary North American. It celebrates the beauty of simplicity and keep you craving more. The service is detailed and technical, but as comfortable as being at home. The room is

    The Chase is a good spot for an upscale dinner date to impress or treat your companion(s). While I do appreciate its attempt to set a romantic vibe, I did notice that it's still quite leaning towards a more urban, corporate, and business-like ambiance. There is only so much one can do when the restaurant is in the middle of an urban jungle anyway. The service was attentive and curt. The food is good, but rather a bit not justifiable for its price point. The steak is not their strongest suit which is understandable because it's a fish and oyster place. So maybe this review is more of a heads up to make sure to order what they're good at. All in all, I still enjoyed my time there and I'd like to point out again that their service surely makes up for it.

    Hadn’t been here since the pandemic. Greeted by the staff warmly. Brendan our server could not have been better and was frankly superb. The food was very good and the decor was the usual comfortable upscale. All in all a great experience and highly recommend! (Ask for Brendan….)

    My 2nd time here for dinner (last visit July 2019). Made reservation for Aug 17 for bday dinner with my partner. The best experience and service I've ever received! From the moment we entered, the hostess greeted me by my name when I arrived on the 5th floor after we checked in downstairs. Everyone greeted us as we were led to our table. Our server was Jaime, he was polite, extremely pleasant and offered suggestions on food choices. He recommended the Chase Gin & Tonic which I enjoyed very much. Our dinner included: apps - shrimp cocktail and homemade focaccia bread, main - prime striploin and halibut, dessert - espresso martini and flourless chocolate & almond cake which was complimentary for my bday (that was a nice touch to end my night). We ate every single bite of our meals, it was that delicious. Jaime was a wonderful server and also the other staff who cleared our plates, were also courteous and asked how we were doing. We will definitely come back. Thanks Jaime for being an excellent server and making my special day extra special. We look forward to seeing you again. Actually, I went back 10 days later with my coworker for lunch since I work 5 minutes from The Chase.

    The food and service was outstanding! We sat outside on the patio and the ambiance was intimate and perfect for any date night. It did start to rain and the staff was very receptive to making sure we still had an enjoyable time.. they even brought complementary dessert which was a very sweet touch!

    We recently celebrated our 10th anniversary at The Chase, and it was nothing short of exceptional. The food was incredible, with every dish crafted to perfection, showcasing the culinary artistry that the restaurant is known for. From the appetizers to the dessert, every bite was a delightful experience. However, what truly set the evening apart was the staff. They went above and beyond to make our celebration special. Their attentiveness, warmth, and genuine care made us feel truly valued. Whether it was the thoughtful recommendations or the little touches they added throughout the evening, the staff at The Chase made the night unforgettable.

    There was an issue with our reservation when we arrived to the restaurant however the manager Francesca went above and beyond to make our dining experience quite memorable. Food and service was impeccable as always.

    This restaurant has been a long time go-to for special nights out. Food is exceptional. Absolutely no rush to move you out (our dinners here can easily last 2 to 3 hours). Wait staff is very skilled, and are seasoned servers that know how to manage the many varieties of patron types and groups -- this extends from the host(ess) at the elevator, to your servers and sommelier, right to the food runners, bussers and floor manager. They are clearly a well oiled team, and so friendly that they are as much the experience as is the food. In fact, it is the staff, and the expeience they create with us, that continue to bring us here. We love it.
