The Cellar at Duckworth’s combina comida de gastropub de un menú creado por el chef junto a una lista de cervezas de barril exóticas y de especialidad, servidas a la temperatura adecuada según el estilo, así como cocteles artesanales característicos hechos bajo pedido por los expertos en mezclas. El espacio subterráneo fue construido originalmente en 1912 y en sus muros de ladrillo y las vigas expuestas del techo hay por naturaleza un aire de clandestinidad y prohibición inspirado en una época pasada. It was a bit too dark, very warm, and the service was not great...the waiter kept us waiting a long time, seemed to be taking part of our order then walking away, sometimes while a guest was actively speaking to him...the food was very good but the wine list is not as extensive as we would have liked...

Daquan the server was excelent. The entree and appetizer was only good, expect higher quality from Duckworths. Scallops cooked too long. Oysters selected were tiny.

Our experience was incredible. My husband and I traveled from Savannah, Ga. Our vacation was spent in Charlotte. I found the Cellar at Duckworths while looking online for fine dining. I booked reservations. We both where very pleased. Upon returning back to Charlotte we will be back.

We come to The Cellar frequently and have come to truly enjoy the food and unique dining experience. However, last nights experience was totally ruined and overshadowed by our server Jovani horrible performance. The service was rude, unwelcoming, unhelpful and the best was- “doubted” it was my daughter’s birthday. Not only was the birthday celebration totally ruined and is now our memory of The Cellar but we lost one of our favorite restaurants.

Food was fantastic. We had candied jalapeño bacon, Brussels sprouts, and the tomahawk steak. Everything was amazing! Only complaint if I really had to find one is that it’s a little too dark. The slightest bit more light would make it perfect. Isabella and her trainee (Stefanie?) were both great and took good care of us.

The place is just wicked good. Filet was cooked to absolute perfection and the grilled oysters were awesome.

The food was great if the fish dishes a little overcooked. The lighting is not great at all and we had 2 members of the party with some visual impairment.

Fantastic food. Derrick was terrific- attentive, helpful. Filets were cooked perfectly, with that char you expect from The Cellar. Sides were hot and delicious! Celebrating 40th birthday. Made very special.
