   Great fish n chips and very friendly service. Basic restaurant but worth it for the food.

   Gross mushy peas, horrible chips. Fish was ok though. But I have to say, it was my worst fish n' chips experience in London. Any decent pub would have done it better.

   A nice local fish restaurant. Food was good, approved by children, just a shame that it was so quiet at Sunday lunchtime. Well worth a visit.

   This place is good in parts. Service was slow even in the quiet mid-afternoon period on Sunday. Grilled sardines starter was excellent. Whitebait was fried in thick batter - wrong surely. Two of us ordered grilled halibut as a main course and it arrived incinerated. Stiff as a board. One of us sent it back and it returned exactly the same, possibly thru language problems. The owner was genuinely mortified when we complained again, offered to cook a replacement himself but it was too late. He knocked it off the bill, which was fine. I WOULD return but keep it simple - battered fish & chips.

   Good fish and chips to take away or eat in. The restaurant is modern with a nice, almost cosy ambiance. The restaurant menu is extensive and includes beer and wine. Our waitress was pleasant and the food delivered promptly and hot. Very pleased we ate here to get our fish and chip fix.

   There was a bit of a muddle over our booking, as the top table confirmation apparantly had not corm through. Once that was resolved we were promptly seated. Food arrived quickly and was well presented. The fish was perfectly cooked but did lack in flavour. I think if I dined again it would be to takeaway!

   This is an excellent local fish and chip shop. It has a traditional menu but the quality of the food and size of portions put it at the top end of this kind of restaurant. The service is always excellent and although they do an busy take-away trade this never impinges of the speed of service to customers that sit down. Fish can be served Battered, Grilled or in Matzo meal giving options for health conscious dinners who don't like deep fried and battered fish.
