Exceeded expectations. The service was excellent. The cuisine was not your typical hotel fare. Very creative cocktails, and the food was excelllent. We had the Halibut and Trout and both were very tasty. You can get half orders on the evening specials, which is a great option if your cutting caloreis or just not that hungry.We will return!

Raveena was a delightful server. It was odd that the side item titled Benton’s Bacon Mac and Cheese had no bacon in it. Raveena was eager to correct the situation and brought a ramekin of chopped bacon. But it was still disappointing since this item cost $8 extra and it didn’t seem like the bacon was Benton’s. The chocolate lava cake still had the paper under it on the plate. But again, Raveena corrected this by taking it off the bill. The best part of the meal (aside from Raveena’s cheerful personality) was the Peach and Pig appetizer-delicious!

What a wonderful dinner experience! We were on our honeymoon and ate their on our last night at the Westin. The staff went over the top and surprised us with a custom, off menu dessert! We can't recommended the Carolina Room at the Westin enough! Thank you for everything you guys did for us! We will be back next year!!!

My husband and I celebrated our 39th Wedding Anniversary at The Carolina Room while staying at the Westin Resort on Hilton Head Island. The service was impeccable, the food was fresh and delicious in addition to being healthily prepared, our table gleamed with soft lamplight, and the view of the Atlantic Ocean added the perfect backdrop. Highly recommend the steamed shrimp and honey garlic salmon.

The staff was pleasant and accommodating but seemed to need a little more training. When wine was ordered the waitress brought the wrong selection then someone else brought the correct wine but they didn’t know how to open the wine bottle. The waiter didn’t provide us a taste of the wine first before serving. Thought the wine was corked didn’t taste as it should. There was music and it was very loud - reported to manager and she tried to get musician to make the music softer but was difficult to do.

Food was good, not fantastic and menu very limited. Very little fresh seafood which was a strange. Our server was excellent but noticed pool servers in golf shirts and caps delivering food to the tables. Excellent bar and bartender.

Based on reviews, I was expecting mediocre food, but, the food was delicious. I got avocado toast and salmon over rice and my husband got the filet which was super tender and very flavorful. Food was a little slow to come out but the waiter was wonderful and attentive. I would definitely eat here again.

While the food tasted, the ridiculously awful service and bright lights made this dinner unenjoyable. We had to ask for plates for the bread, more water three separate times and the lack of attentiveness overall from the server was just terrible. From an ambiance perspective, keep in mind this is a family friendly hotel so we had kids and babies all around us. Nothing wrong with it, just something to keep in mind. The food was good, but just so hard to focus on when the service is just terrible.

My filet mignon was excellent. My server, Robinais, was charming and attentive. The noise level was pretty high; mostly crying babies and children. It does distract from the experience, but I know they must not want to eliminate any paying guests.

It's always telling when the main restaurant at a busy resort is nearly empty during dinner hours. Service was O.K., but far from what one should expect at a 4-Diamond resort. The menu was very limited and featured very little in the way of seafood. For a not-so-busy restaurant, the timing of my meal was unacceptable, with the salad and entree arriving at the same time. I found neither of them to be anything to rave about. Overall, it was a disappointing experience. Both the kitchen and service staff need additional training, and the menu could use a revamp. I do not recommend.

I highly recommend the Peaches And The Pig appetizer. It was delicious and perfectly sized for a group of 3, 4, or 5. The rest of our dinner was wonderful and it was hard to resist their delicious desserts.

Such a disappointment. We stayed at the Westin for a few days. Their main restaurant is tucked behind blackout windows away from the beach. All the while they have beach front facilities that are used as an occasional venue

Food was terrible. Very disappointing. The burrata has a weird texture. The pre buttered toast tasted rancid and the shrimp and grits was terrible. We never got bread that was offered and the drinks, a glass of wine and a beer took 15 min.
