overpriced for what you get, but it was okay and it keeps you having to leave the hotel grounds. She Crab soup was more like a bisque, but okay. Steak frites was the best thing on our table. Salads were basic. Not bad, but very overpriced, like everything at the Westin HH... terrible value, even when considering the HH beach location.

We had high hopes for our dinner at The Carolina Room, but unfortunately, the experience fell far short of expectations. It took over an hour for our food to arrive, and when it finally did, the quality was underwhelming, especially considering the nearly $500 bill. The kids' fries were hard and inedible, and overall, the food lacked the freshness and flavor you'd expect from a restaurant of this caliber. For a property like the Westin, we anticipated a much higher standard. Disappointing and not an experience we’d repeat.

Was not very pleased with our experience in July 2025. Food was overpriced, options limited, service was slow and ambience is lacking for the cost. We will not be visiting the Carolina room again.

We did not enjoy the restaurant. The restaurant was freezing and it was dirty. We know it was the 4th of July weekend and the Westin hotel was busy, however it was not a pleasant experience to eat at this restaurant. The food was relatively okay. The only good part was our server. She was very nice and even got me a blanket since it was so cold. We would never go back.

All of our meals were awful. We had fish and steak. Neither were edible. There was what appeared to be black mold on the ceiling. Thankfully, the manager was able to remove some of our meals were compensated. I don’t recommend going here unless they do a major overhaul of the menu and get a new chef.

Jimmy our waiter was excellent. He was very personable and helpful to us to; and kept the meal moving at a comfortable pace. The shrimp and grits were excellent! The Cobb Salad alone is worth returning for. I would certainly come back!

If you are staying at the Westin, don't leave the resort for dinner. Go to the Carolina Room. My wife and I had a delicious meal. We started with a bottle of champagne, roasted oysters and peel and eat shrimp. (A little messy,but very good especially with Sriracha sauce). For the main course, she had the ginger soy salmon and I had the scallop and lobster linguine. Both were superb. For dessert, my wife had key lime pie. Add a couple of glasses of wine, plus we took the remaining champagne in the bottle back to the room, and it all made for a fabulous night. The bill was $218 before taxes and gratuity. Worth every penny.

Limited food choices. Servers do an excellent job. Need more variety in the menu just simple things like a hot dog or smaller burger or add nachos back. When you’re there a week it gets old.

This was bad overall. Service was great and the place looked nice, but the quality of the food was the worst I have had on the island and the price was among the steepest! Very nice staff, but that didn't make up for the ridiculously overpriced, sub-par food. Disappointed...
