The food, wine, service were all terrific. They’re clearly catering to the theatre crowd and that was perfect for us. It was a bit loud and expensive but we get it.

We had an amazing dinner at The Carlile Room. Every dish was delicious, and we all tried something different, so tasting was happening! The Nashville Hot Chicken Schinzel and the Rigatoni Ala Vodka were so good!!!! The only thing we would have changed was the first round of Martinis for two. They had so much vermouth in them, we did not drink them. Overall, I would highly recommend The Carlile Room and look forward to our next visit.

After waiting what seems like forever to finally have the opportunity to dine at The Carlile Room, we were very disappointed. Although we were told we had been given “the best table in the house “ the service and food quality were meh. After mentioning to the waiter that it was our first visit and how excited we were to be there, he promptly told us that Brandi Carlile was truly no part of the restaurant, that Tom Douglas “met her somewhere and liked her so decided to use her as inspiration.” We love Brandi and this was definitely part of the draw to visit. We’ve been to many Tom Douglas restaurants, this one was lacking not only in service, but the menu was boring and only the burger looked appealing, which we both ordered. My husband asked for a raw onion for his, but never got it, we both asked for them to be medium rare but both were overcooked. The drinks were watery and lackluster, the triple coconut cream pie had the texture of school paste with a tough, chewy crust, poor taste quality as was the olive oil cake, which was dry and near flavorless with an odd texture. Truly a Tom Douglas major disappointment, we will not return.
