The Captain's Table
Excellent atmosphere. Scenic views. Great food. Lobster BLT exceptional.
Waitress was wonderful Keren. Great atomsphere. Food was excellent . Very attentive. Perfect in every way. Thank you.
Excellent service! The food was on piint and timely served! Out of town visiting Execs for one of my were highly impressed and content.
Captain's Table has some of the freshest seafood and is always cooked impeccably. We enjoy sitting over the water and watching the sunset. Staff is always friendly and service is great.
Everything was great. We even saw a beautiful sunset
Very nice dinner outside with great service. Sunset was perfect.
We've ate at the Captains table for years, never been disappointed in the food...From the prime rib to the breakfast always great food.
Very nice dinner. Not overly crowded, wonderful views, friendly service staff, and food quality was great. Being able to hear the music from the bar downstairs did deter from the ambience somewhat, but we were very delighted over all with the meal and experience.
Best sunset you‘re gonna find in the area. Great service. Very good food and wine selection
The service was wonderful! Our server was busy, but still very attentive.
The food was great! Personally, I think it’s a little over priced, but it was prepared perfectly!
Drinks were delectable!
Keren our server was prompt, courteous and very knowledgeable about menu. We loved it.
Food was excellent , service good. Pianists was superb. Lovely view, enjoyed it. Will be back many more times.
Our food took over an hour to get to us. Was not busy and absolutely could tell that they had either laid off or cut staff for staff for the season, especially since they had the bartender doing all the tables along with the valet person helping out. Very disappointed since we had been there before. Very disappointed will not be going back.
Great service provided by Keith. Scallops were delicious, NOT overcooked and plentiful as well as a great price. Grouper also excellent and a great value.
The seafood buffet was very good. Oysters pay for it and most dishes had great flavor.
Excellent service and wonderful Snapper Piccata! One of my favorite places when I am in the area.
The Captain's table was a pleasant experience. The food was tasty and well presented. Our server was very accomodating and showed a good knowledge of the menu and wines available. The temperature inside of the restaurant was a little too warm for us since the sun was strong and shining on the dinning area. In spite of the warm temperature we had savory food with very good service.
Beautiful views, good piano player, great food and service. Only downfall was the band playing in the bar downstairs was heard over our dinner piano.
I had seafood dinner all the food seemed to have been frozen I would think an upper end restaurant would have fresh stuff probably will try again in the future
First let me say the Captains Table has an amazing view of Charlotte Harbor and the sunset!! All tables in the restaurant have a great view! Our dinner was delicious. My husband had red fish, which he absolutely loved. I had the lamb and mushroom risotto and both were delicious! We also split the marinated beet salad which was fabulous ! I highly recommend the Captain’s Table and will be going back again soon! It would also be a great place for a special celebration as the decor is very upscale!
There were very few diners and we basically had the restaurant to ourselves.
There were a couple of groups when we first arrived that had been drinking and were rather loud, but they left when we were being served our main course.
Second time here and the food is outstanding. Looking forward to July 23 8 course meal and wine pairing.
We arrived and were seated at a great table. The quality of our meals and the service, were a cut above other restaurants in Punta Gorda.
Well its off season so I had to say quiet as we were only two of about 6 maybe 8 people spread out over the large area including outside on the water. Its nothing special considering other places in the are just like or better than. I think Fishermen Village is way overrated anyways. Its ok if your looking for an upscale flea market with the same stores one after another of clothes and jewelry. Ill give them credit they are after a number of years getting smart and putting new restaurants , stores in. One we see will have sushi, so they are trying to get with it. What more can I say its Florida if you live here we see it every day its beautiful that's why we live here. If your from the north (snow bird, vacationing) then you have more of an awwwwww factor when you experience it.
We enjoyed the evening with no rush. Stayed for fireworks over the gorgeous water views along Charlotte Harbor
Great place for lunch. Good selection on lunch menu at reasonable prices. Have always got inside table next to window for excellent view of harbour. Easy to make reservations on line. Have never had dinner there so can’t comment on that. Nice place to just stop in and have a drink at the bar. Rather far from parking lot so grab a free golf cart ride if you have trouble walking
My husband and I celebrated our 56th Wedding Anniversary at the Captain’s Table on June 29, 2019. We can honestly say our experience was truly memorable. Everything was perfect. The food was outstanding along with the breathtaking view and our waiter Bobby was a gem, couldn’t do enough for us. We will be back and we highly recommend this restaurant to all.
Awesome view, good drinks. We had lunch and frankly the food was average. Didn't seem like any love went into preparation. Vegetables were not fresh, seemingly previously frozen. Perhaps I expected more being that the site is so beautiful. Maybe dinners are better. Time to kick it up a few notches in my opinion.
Incredible views! Free parking The best escargot I have ever had. My father lives near, found this on open Table. Friendly service and great prices for quality food. Drink prices are great twice the amount in Houston. So of course I was thrilled!
Food was great, view was awesome, and we had an great time. Highly recommend the Parmesan Crusted Grouper.
View is gorgeous... service was good and food was excellent.
The view, while lovely, did not make the rest of the evening worthwhile. The room was ungodly hot. My husband and I were sweating profusely the entire time, which made for a very uncomfortable evening. My order came incorrectly prepared, and was very bland. Hot food and and a hot room do not make for a pleasant night. The waitress only checked on us one time. We were ready to leave, but had to wait for her to bring our check for 15 minutes, uncomfortable and sweating the entire time. It would be one thing if the room was busy, but there were only 5 tables that she was working in an otherwise empty restaurant. Overall, this was a very frustrating experience. We will not ever go back.
Great location and view of the river and marina. Server Melissa was excellent, thank you Melissa! She came by at the right time and number of times to check on us. Food was solid. However overall the restaurant could use a deep cleaning.
Fish was very good. Dessert was disappointing. Views are spectacular!
Our waiter knew the people on both sides of us and gave them great service , not us , had the buffet, needed crab legs to it to be worth it ,salad should of been pick what you want instead of pre made , it was better a year and half ago ,we went all the time till they stopped the buffet, I think new owners
Food was excellent. I had the swordfish which was fresh & seasoned just right. My husband had shrimp scampi that was fresh as well ! We will be back if they are still at Fishermen’s Village.
Food and service was excellent. They were having a private party and kept leaving the door open very very loud kids screaming however our waiter kept going back to close the door. Others should have been more courteous and closed the door behind them.
Table was great. Server very attentive. Food excellent.
One if my favorite restaurants! They never disappoint!
