I was so looking forward to a first class steak, as I have experienced in the past. I ordered the special, porterhouse, and it was a major disappointment. While it was cooked rate, and I asked for medium rare, the real issue was the taste. It was simply a lousy tasting steak. I kept waiting for it to improve, but it never happened. And similar for the potatoes au gratin, just a bad tasting side. Normally, I would try again, but this was such a major disappointment, that I'm doubtful I'll ever dine there again.

I came to Capital Grille last night with my family. The food was great. Best crème brûlée around. I have to say our bus boy Enzo was the best! He was so attentive and when we couldn’t find our waiter he would come right over. He definitely made our experience more enjoyable. He should be promoted to waiter because he is the reason we would back!

Was another great night at the Capital Grille. Our waiter, Matthew, was very good and personable. We ask for and took his business card. This time I tried one of the “chef recommends” selections, specifically the tenderloin with lobster tails. Although it was very good as far as taste, I wouldn’t choose it again and would probably refrain from ordering from that part of the menu as it was disappointing compared to the picture of it. If I had to guess, it was about 6 ounces of meat with two very very small lobster tails, fyi. I will stick to the tried and true bone-in ribeye as that’s my favorite cut, in the future (never go wrong with that choice). Outstanding service and flavors keep me coming back!

They provide the best restaurant week menu. We enjoy the blue cheese wedge as the starter. The prosciutto wraps are the best. The best part of the night is the service provided by Amanda. She is the best which is why we always request her.

Good location for quality service and good food. Three brothers, all in our senior years, enjoyed our time together. One of the steaks was a little overdone so management promptly removed it and quickly replaced it without issue.
