Always have a great meal at Capitol Grill. Our waiter, Matt, was very attentive made the evening a pleasant experience.
Food was great. Joe was awesome. Thanks!
Great experience as usual!!
This afternoon I selected from the Plate. Special prices items for $22. I selected the crispy chicken sandwich with truffle fries which are great here. My friend had something off the plate which was the salmon salad. I started with the mushroom bisque and my friend had the New England clam chowder. Both very good. Never a bad meal and our server was wonderful!
A great dining experience. Excellent service and food selection. Will return!
I have been to Capital Grille several times. Consistently it has been very good, but never perfect, especially considering the price. This time the shrimp appetizer that comes in the iron griddle was below par (uncooked and elastic in texture, immersed in in a lot of sauce which was supposed to be reduced to a thick consistency.). The filet mignon entree was excellent. The wine was good-better be for the markup they charge. The ambiance was good, and the service was very good. They don’t have a good dessert selection, but that is OK. In short, I would not rate the dining experience excellent but I would certainly rate it very good.
The appetizers were the best part of the meal. The lamb entree was severely over cooked and the steak was not a quality cut very tough. The lobster mac was missing lobster, as I don’t believe for shreds of lobster qualifies. The half the spinach was raw and half was cooked, however the wait time to receive the meal was entirely too long. I apologize for my guest as previous experiences were worth the price point. I am not sure if new staff were being trained or both front and back house managers were not speaking to one another, but in honesty I would like my time and taste buds refunded. To say the time spent here was a total waste would be an understatement.
Great food, excellent staff
Great food! Great service! We had Joseph, who was new-ish to The Capital Grille. He was great and super attentive.
We had a wonderful experience at the Capital Grille - King of Prussia and I would recommend for a special family occasion or a special dinner for two. Lobster bisque, crab cakes, steaks and fish enjoyed by our entire party.
This was my third visit to the capital Grille every time I leave disappointed. The quality of food is very disappointing, it is very bland and uneventful. The steak out ordered was rubbery and had no flavor. I was really looking forward to some amazing food.
We went to celebrate a birthday. The food was excellent and the waitress was amazing.
We had an amazing birthday dinner. The table was decorated with confetti and a note card with a birthday wish.
We went for a business lunch meeting. The restaurant was fairly busy, which is a good sign. They have a rather limited lunch menu, somewhat unfortunately. I started off with the onion soup, which was delicious. I got the sliced filet with mushrooms and onions. It was very good. Out server was a little inattentive with beverages, and once we paid, they never asked if we wanted refills. That's unprofessional for a higher-class restaurant.
Food and atmosphere were overall very nice. However, service needed work - it was not very crowded at our visit yet plates went uncleared, and there was a long gap of time between dinner and dessert and dessert and receiving the check.
At this price point service should be perfect.
The food was great and our server was wonderful and very attentive.
This was one of the best experiences at any restaurant that we have visited. Everyone was friendly from the time we walked in to the end of the dinner. Our waiter was very kind and knowledgeable with a great presence. The food was over the moon delicious. We will definitely recommend and return.
Great service & great food. Always fun!
Joseph was a fantastic server!
The Capital Grill goes over and above to make a special occasion even more special. Food was wonderful, service was significantly above average. It is a favorite if a bit pricey
Very positive birthday experience
We have an anniversary dinner every year and it rarely disappoints. Tried a few new apps of bacon slab and field green salads. Dinner was filet done perfectly and rack of lamb. Excellent service. Only downside was couple next to us with the guy getting hammered and yelling every now and then. See you next year (and a few times in between)
Another wonderful meal. Great service by Sheila and her team.
Never a bad meal. Whether eating in Center City or King of Prussia, service and food are always outstanding.
Amazing service, great quality food. The wait was 45 minutes over our reservation time, but it was New Years so that’s expected!
NYE. Salvador (Sal) was our waiter in kop. He and the staff was amazing! We had a wonderful NYE experience.
Food was great and the waiter was top notch!
Slower on delivery than we’ve had there and at other Capital’s in the past. Bar was backed up, food line was backed up.
Maybe it was just because it was New Years Eve!?
Only real criticism - it was way to noisy.
As always the service is top-notch and the food was excellent. The team really wants you to have the best experience possible. Everyone working there are professionals and make the experience enjoyable.
After having a reservation for over a month they tried to put us at a high-top bar table for 4 at the far end of the bar next to the server’s bar station and a garbage can. We had an 81 year old woman with us who’s just over 5 feet tall. That was unacceptable. We knew it would be busy and that’s why we made a reservation early. They were able to move us to a regular table in the room just off the bar though after we told them we wouldn’t sit at that high too table that should be used for those without reservations.
My Favorite Restaurant for the last 4 years !
My boyfriend and I love splurging a little around the holidays and figured this would be the perfect place to do so. Although it was a bit pricey, it was all worth it in my opinion. Our service was great from the moment we arrived to when we left. Each dish we got looked great and tasted great as well. Highly recommend if you’re looking for some fine dining, we will definitely be returning in the future.
We had a late Sunday night reservation. Even though we were the last people in the restaurant we were not rushed. Our server, Carolina, was phenomenal. She babied us. She is special. The food was excellent. Food was prepared perfectly to our taste. One of the best dining experiences from start to finish that I have ever had.
Salvatore was great! The courses were placed out perfectly and my rare steak was cooked to perfection!
Much better than the downtown capital grille. Great service.
The service was wonderful; our filet was great, unfortunately, the salmon was dry and overcooked.
We were disappointed as upon booking I notified the restaurant we were celebrating a birthday. There was no acknowledgment; however, we clearly heard happy birthday being sung at another table. We were looking for an elevated experience to celebrate, unfortunately that did not happen, not even a warm greeting or well wishes.
We went for Christmas Eve dinner and had a great time.
The restaurant was busy, but the server did an outstanding job of making us feel special. The best lobster bisque soup and great entrees. A bit expensive, but worth it!
Considering the prices, I was not impressed or wowed by my meal or the atmosphere. We made reservations over a month in advance and ended up being seated at a table in the bar where it was so loud we couldn’t even hear each other at our table and groups of people standing at the bar while they waited for their table kept bumping into us and hitting our table as we sat eating. When I spend over $50 on my meal I expect to be able to enjoy it and talk to others at my table without bar people bumping us and talking loudly over us! Besides the awful seating arrangement, my $49 filet mignon was just okay, not that much better than the filet mignon at Longhorn Steakhouse for half the price, and our side of potatoes au gratin was way undercooked, the slices of potatoes were rock hard. The only good thing about the meal was our good server.
Service was incredibly slow and not at all attentive like previous visits.
