Open seven days a week, The Capital Grille is best known for our expertly prepared steaks, which are dry aged in house for 18 to 24 days and then hand-cut by our restaurant's on-premise butcher. The Capital Grille's wine list features more than 350 selections, and its floor-to-ceiling wine kiosk regularly houses 3,500 - 5,000 bottles. Reservations are recommended but not required.     Our waiter Ray was exceptional. We celebrated our 23 wedding anniversary. Ray made sure we had a quiet low lighted table. When a group of 6 was seated near us he came over and ask if he could provide a table that may be in a more quiet area. We had not even noticed the increased level of activity. Ray was acutely observant Table was tastefully decorated with glitter hearts and a note card of congratulations was also included ‼️👍😊

    The waitstaff and complete professionalism was perfect for celebrating a special friend’s birthday. I have come for past occasions and am never disappointed. We will definitely be back!

    Love the staff here - both in the bar and the dining room made our group feel so welcome and special. Food outstanding as always. A little pricey, but we keep coming back for that special splurge. One of the ladies left her credit card at the table, and I got a call right away from the restaurant so that I could retrieve and return it to her.

    I have never had a bad experience at The Capital Grille. Most our experience has been in Pittsburgh. This was our first time at the City Centre location and they stood up to their reputation. We reserved the bar. It was a bit loud but expected for a Saturday night in a bar area. The food and service were excellent. We will be going back.

    The dining was good but the hostess situation was terrible. There were reservations every 15 minutes online so we didn’t make one in case we were running late leaving multiple kids at home with a sitter. We arrived and when we said we didn’t have a reservation got the most condescending attitude being told it would be at least an hour wait. Literally had checked 20 minutes prior and there were still reservations every 15 min. As she was telling me about the wait and not being sure how we could get a table I went online and made a reservation for 15 minutes later and told her I now had a reservation, we were seated within 20 minutes of arrival. A little wait was fine but the attitude was unacceptable.

    We had a great steak dinner on restaurant week and wonderful wine. Our waitress Alyssa was very attentive without being bothersome. Great restaurant!

    Great food and wine selection. We had the Houston restaurant month special menu which was extended. Awesome filet with wild mushrooms.

    Always have liked this restaurant. This time, we had a hard time getting the attention of our server. It was so cold at our booth, that it was almost unenjoyable. After my second complaint, the manager brought me a shawl and turned up the thermostat for us. The food was delicious - and BEST mashed potatoes we've ever had!
