   We stop in Burlington as a 1/2 way stop up to Maine. We stay at the Archer and enjoy a meal at the Capital Grill. We’ve tried a few other restaurants (there is a long list of nice choices) but nowhere comes close to CG. Our standard meal is a shared filet steak au poivre, mashed potatoes and asparagus. My husband gets the lobster bisque. The bread basket is outstanding w several choices and sea salt sprinkled butter. We always take the leftover bread w us for breakfast the next morning. We order two martinis to start and a glass of red w the entree. Service is great. This somewhat shared meal sets up back $220-ish which puts it into the special occasion range but it’s worth the splurge. We haven’t found a better steak in Burlington and find this particular Capital Grill to be nicer than many others we’ve tried on the East coast.

   Waitress was Geri or Gerry. She was marvelous! I stumbled on the glorious generous pour event which I’ve never timed right in the past. I learned a bit & tasted lovely reds from Orin Swift. My son & I ate and were treated like royalty, thanks to Geri. She’s top notch! A++++

   We had the most amazing experience last night. My friend and I have an annual tradition of participating in The Generous Pour event.  It’s something we look forward to every summer. Last night Colleen went far above and beyond serving us. We were so impressed with our experience with her. She was extremely friendly, used our names throughout the night, was quick to refill, and was chatting with us when she was available.  I will definitely be coming back before the event ends and hopefully be able to have Colleen as a server again !

   The service was superb. Always there when you needed something without feeling crowded or rushed. Food is perfect in every way. Well done!

   My parents and I had a wonderful experience to celebrate my birthday! Our server, Tim, was very knowledgeable and friendly. Tim and the restaurant went above and beyond to help me celebrate, decorating the table and providing a complimentary bday dessert with champagne toast. Everyone loved their meal, in particular my Mom said her lamb chops were the best she has ever had! I look forward to my next trip to the Capital Grille!

   We celebrated our 25th year wedding anniversary and everything was absolutely perfect. The staff was extremely attentive and the food was fabulous.

   The food was good for the most part. Two people got burned on the au gratin potato dish so that was lousy. The main dishes were enjoyed - The prices are extremely high but we did know that going in. Portion sizes are small. All in all it was enjoyable but definitely only for a special occasion.

    We have dined many times here. We typically have Kevin or Melissa as servers and they always provide top notch service. The food is great and consistent each time. My son has a peanut and tree nut allergy and they always are very welcoming and go out of their way to provide a bread alternative in case it is not safe. Each visit is outstanding and the food quality is top notch.
