Nice evening good food good service
This is our go to steak place. Always outstanding food and service. Sunday night 1/19/2020: This time service team put the wrong dishes in front of the wrong guests. My steak was given to someone else, so I had to wait, since the one I received was overcooked. Surprised no apologies from the manager. A waste of food too, so more overhead on the restaurant. Just embarrassing since I had an out of town VIP we were trying to impress and was somewhat embarrassed since I spoke so highly of this place. Just a tip that the servers should ask the guests what dishes they received, though I always thought there was a system of ordering so this would not happen. I wasn't checking because I assumed I received the correct dish so a small bad on me. Our main attendant Lauren was great otherwise.

Went for restaurant week. Field greens salad with Parmesan vinaigrette was excellent, a light but extremely delicious dressing. Dry aged NY strip was outstanding with a Kona rub. Filet was cooked perfectly and melted in your mouth. Even the fruit on the creme brûlée seemed to be at another level. Wonderful experience and some of the best food we’ve had! Carlos our server was great!
The food was delicious and the server was very friendly. We came here for Restaurant Week, and we were happy with the visit.

The food and service was excellent. We were there to celebrate my wife’s birthday. I was very well pleased with the service from the time we entered the restaurant until we left. We will definitely return soon!
Food was great service was exceptional. Managers came by to introduce themselves and to check on our service . Drinks were not the greatest but will most definitely be back!

I went there for a business lunch and it happened to be restaurant week. I upgraded my appetizer to the lobster bisque which was well worth the extra $5. For my entree I had the salmon which was equally delicious and served on a bed of green bean almandine which are hands down the best I've had. My dessert was the creme brule topped with fresh fruit and it was perfectly prepared. The service was excellent and the ambiance was cozy and warm. The only area for improvement I found was the uniforms the wait staff wears. They really need to have their coats tailored.
Although I feel that this is the best restaurant in Baltimore, I brought friends here for their first time for Restaurant Week. This place just does everything right! Consistently! Every aspect of our dining experience was OUTSTANDING! We had Mark Wiedorfer as our server and he made us feel like rock stars! If we come back tomorrow for dinner it wouldn’t be too soon!
I was celebrating my birthday & TCG made it extra special. Eric was a great server. He had a pleasant attitude. I didn’t prefer where we were seated due to heavy foot traffic, but we still enjoyed ourselves.
The Capital Grille never disappoints. Everything we had was really well-seasoned and tasty. The French fries were the very best in Baltimore. The chocolate cake was decantly delicious.
The food was delicious but the service was outstanding Carlos Ramirez is the absolute best!
Everything was delicious. The filet with lobster tail and NY strip were cooked to perfection. And though quite full, who can resist a yummy espresso cake. Jacqueline took very good care of us.
Delicious, First Class Establishment, Attentive Server, Can't wait to return.

Restaurant Week 2020
I recommend sitting at the bar for better service. On 1/12/2020. I treated my daughter to dinner here. First off, although we dressed up for dinner we were taken all the way to a back tiny room filled with casually dressed people. We never were asked for a seating preference. My waiter was friendly, but provided terrible service. We never got checked on for refills. All my dirty dishes were left in front of me until the end of dinner. The manager came and apologized but didn’t even do anything further. I was very shocked because I’ve never had this type of service at a fine dining restaurant. The waiter was very inattentive. I had hoped to show my daughter an amazing night, instead she kept complaining about needing a refill. To top things off the steak though tasty was cold. It already took forever to get our meals, and we were hungry, so we ate the food and mentioned the issues to the manager. Nothing was done to make me feel good about my experience. When you treat yourself to a nice dinner you expect good service and hot food. I heard so many amazing things about Capital Grill, but unfortunately I felt let down on my first visit.
Everything was great about Capital Grille. Steak was perfect, Service (Manny) wonderful. Valet parking very professional. Drinks a little pricey, but that's expected with any nice restaurant. Will return.

Great food and drinks. Some of us did the restaurant week menu and it was excellent. We sat near the bar area and it was fun.
We decided to check out The Capital Grille during restaurant week. We had a party of 5 and were lucky enough to be seated in the private room to the left of the dining room. Our server was great. I had the salmon and everyone else chose the steak. We went with the mashed potatoes, brussel sprouts and asparagus for our sides which were large enough for our table to share. Everything was delicious. We would all definitely return.

We went to the Capitol Grill for restaurant week. It was a lovely experience. My hubby and I expected to dine alone but baby sitter issues caused us to bring our 7 year old. The maitre d' handled it like a champ. ( I didn't call ahead). The steak was one of the best I've EVER had. Our waiter Eric was very knowledgeable and nice to our little one. I will certainly be back.
Always great food and service! My husband celebrates his birthday here every year. This year did not disappoint.

Celebrating our wedding anniversary. The Capital Grille team did an amazing job, food was terrific, service amazing, and several surprises through the evening.
The food was fabulous and beautifully presented. The level of service and ambiance were outstanding. Our server, Jackie, was terrific and she brought a lovely complimentary dessert for my husband's birthday and even took and printed our picture. A memorable evening!
My first experience here with my fiancee was the best. From entering the front door, until the end of the night, was exceptional service. Our Server Brian was very respectful and helpful.
