Deep Fried Cheese Curds*
Wisconsin-style beer battered cheese curds
Uinta Brewery, Deer Valley 40 Year Anniversary, Black Lager, 355ml, 5.6%
There is no decor. Everything needs to be updated. The food was bad. We had gnocchi which was not pillowy. We think they may have pan fried it. The sauce had a layer of grease on top. We had chicken added to it and they just laid a grilled chicken breast on top. We also order the ravioli which was bland. The pepperoni and sausage pizza was fine but again very greasy. The Caesar salad was a wedge of romaine with some dressing and Parmesan cheese. Nothing special. Sorry, but would not eat here again.
The service was friendly and very efficient.
The food was very tasty and the cheese curds were better than ones we’ve had in Wisconsin.
Willow, Andrew and Chef Holly were incredible! The service they provided was excellent. Thank you all for a memorable.
Can not wait until reopening in June, we will be back!
Good and service was great
The best part of this dinner by far was our server, Willow! What a super fun gal, we all enjoyed chatting with her. Than you add in that the food was great, the drinks were great, and the comfy setting, wonderful evening!!
Menu is not contemporary American as deacon open table. It’s salad, pizza and pasta. Please update .
Our first visit to The Brass Tag was memorable to say the least. Our server, Willow, was very knowledgeable, friendly, and made our experience very enjoyable. We both devoured pasta dishes, cocktails, wine, and dessert. We were impressed with the pricing as well. Definitely slightly upscale but matched perfectly with hospitality and service. We will be back!
Staff was very nice and attentive. Food is mediocre and over priced
I saw old menu online...bait and switch...terrible menu terrible food...
Not as advertised in our opinion. Were very let down.
Nice place. Servers were good and on top of their game. Timing was good - not to fast and not to slow. Every friendly.
$400 meal for 6.
The server was excellent, informative, knowledgeable, a great sales person. Portions were generous. Would definitely return.
loved our visit. service was awesome as well as the food! Willow did a great job!
Goat cheese dip was excellent. Kind of went downhill from there. Salads were plain though pricey. Willow is a great server and a pleasure to talk to. Rest of staff is very kind as well. Lasagna was fairly bland and dense with enough to fill you up if that’s what you’re looking for.
Wonderful casual Italian Bistro ambiance, and the food and service were divine! Our party of four ordered fried cheese curd appetizer with marinara sauce, wood-fired pizza, porchini mushroom gnocchi, pappardelle putanesca, and ravioli. Everything was surprisingly delicious and authentic! This was our first visit, but I have been hearing about it from other locals. Such a find.
Wine grossly overpriced. Pasta dishes all quite good.
Disappointed in the new menu and portion sizes.
Brass Tag is located in Deer Valley. This was our first time visiting this area and we had read that Deer Valley and Brass Tag had wonderful cocktails and appetizers. Once we got there we were pleasantly surprised to say that they were right! The cocktails, mine with a splash of pineapple juice, were delicious! I did think the little cheese curds were a little overpriced for what you got, but the $7 dollar hot chocolate was sublime. I would come back, but maybe this time skip the appetizers.
Fantastic restaurant for a good casual dinner. I am a local in Park City and go here a lot. Never a disappointment
NEW MENU IS A BUST!!
We are Empire Pass homeowners and have been eating at Brass Tag for 8 years now! It has been (up until last night), one of our very favorites in Deer Valley! We go as a family and take all of our friends and family several times on each trip we make here...4-6x a year! Last night we sat down to find that our old menu is now gone....In it's place a very limited "Italian style" menu, including pizza, pasta and salads... To say we were disappointed is an understatement, but the courteous staff apologized and reassured us that we would be thrilled with their selections. They couldn't have been nicer, or more wrong. They ruined a simple Wedge Salad by pouring a quart of olive oil on top of it, and then crumbling 1/4 of a piece of day old hard bacon and tasteless blue cheese on top... my grilled shrimp tasted like it had been quickly seared from being frozen. My husband ordered the special steak and asked for NO CHEESE in his salad appetizer. The app came with no cheese, but the salad on his dinner plate was LOADED with cheese!! Seriously??! Just doesn't make any sense. The $38 plate of Papardelle was the kicker though. Yes! TWENTY FIVE DOLLARS for a pasta with no protein!! Add $13 for inedible shrimp and viola, my daughter didn't even eat 1/4 of it. Pasta overcooked and sauce just not right. The Bolognese was okay, but my son said it was nothing special. So, we paid almost $300 (one beer), for a really tragically sad experience for 7 that we will not be repeating. (Even paying much more for a delicious experience would have been okay!) Although our server told us that we should have known that the menu changed, it really was not apparent when I was booking our reservations. I wonder if it's intentional??? We are heartbroken!!!
Had a fabulous meal at Brass Tag. The pizza and lasagna were wonderful, and our server recommended a great wine and cocktail made with gin that was aged in charred Chardonnay barrels. Both were just fantastic. Highly recommend eating here.
Great place for a nice casual meal. Food is fresh and delicious. Thanks.
Amazing food. Recommend
This is one of our regular restaurants and over the years have returned for their delicious comfort food(meatloaf in particular)The Brass Tag redid their menu this year and we were almost disappointed but the chef who was trained in Italy did some amazing and creative dishes! Her mushroom gnocchi is light and fluffy and gets toasted in the wood fire oven to give it a bit of crisp. The lasagna was also prepared with a twist as it has veal and sausage and a spicy marinara! Highly recommend!!
Wonderful atmosphere, great service and delicious food.
BT is a neighborhood fine dining experience. It's one of our top choices in PC. It's quiet and cozy and the menu isn't overwhelming. The migration to an Italian menu is brilliant. They boast the best pizza so kids and adults are happy, plus the other dinner choices will please everyone. Shy about eating pasta? The salads with various protein toppers fit the bill. Dine here; you'll love it.
Amazing food ! The Gnocchi was melt in your mouth ! Staff was great . Drinks were awesome . Our server Justin made it a wonderful experience ! The bartender was so friendly ! Highly recommend if you like Italian food . Wish we would have discovered sooner ....
Server Joe snd our bartender the “Old Man” were awesome.
The worst disappointment in food specially for New years Eve. They called me to make sure we where one time and when we got there we where the first guest and didn't have a choose of where to sit. Soup was cold, taste as if it came out of a can, pasta watery, lasagna metal taste as it was frozen and just defrosted. Bread was cold and came with the food. The waitress was nice, but you could tell was embarrassed. Felt bad for her. The manager tried fixing it by giving us a discount but since it was a special dinner, that didn't make it any better. Sad.
Really, really stale ravioli. Like it looked like it came out of a microwave or something. Extremely small portions, underwhelming bar, poor food quality and presentation. Staff was alright but definitely would not go back.
Oh, and double whammy, I just opened the “Brass Tag” salad I ordered to go, they forgot the chicken. $15 for a handful of lettuce and a quarter of a avocado. I go to a lot of places in the PC/DV area, Do. Not. Come. Here.
In working with the host to notify of Vegan options for someone in our party was amazing but the waitress seemed like it didn’t get passed along nor did the ‘special request’ in the open table reservation. It seemed under staffed for the amount of people in the restaurant. Our food was mildly warm, one came out cold and we didn’t all get our food at the same time nor did everyone have silverware to start their meal as it was cleared after apps. The entire party agreed that the foods flavor was delicious. The host was energetic, polite. We also had one male server/runner that was hustling and very attentive.
The Brass Tag was a lovely restaurant within walking distance of our condo at Deer Valley. Our waiter was good & we would go back again!
Very nice and probably the best pizza in PC
Service was great...but that’s about all. Food was less than average. We were the only people in the restaurant.
There are many restaurants in the Deer Valley / Park City area with great pizza, burgers, fish and salad. This is NOT one of them. Pleasant service wasn’t enough to compensate for food mediocrity.
We frequent the Brass Tag whenever we visit Park City. I was happy to see that the restaurant was vibrant and busy, on other occasions, (off season) it has been more of a quiet and cozy place off the beaten track of Main St. Our last visit was super busy, (EVERY table full) but the wait staff, manager and bartender really displayed great teamwork to keep the quality and service up and made our dining experience pleasant and memorable.
When my meal came I ordered ice tea and never received the ice tea. I had to go get my own ketchup after I had finished half of my fries. We did not see any wait staff after food arrived even though glasses were empty(with the exception of water). When our table was fully cleared I went to the bar to pay our bill vs wait any longer. We were told that it got very busy all at once and they were sorry. While apology was appreciated, there was no other form of service recovery offered.
