The Blue Fish - Washington
Excellent service and we enjoy the food.
The manager and waiter were very attentive.
Definitely I'll come back.
The food was delicious. Love the Bento Boxes for lunch and great deals at Happy Hour. Also, loved having George as our waiter. He always took such good care of me at Daily Review Cafe. He remains is and always has been an incredible part of the dining experience.
Both the Rockets and Astros games were being shown in the bar area so it was louder than usual, but the atmosphere was great and as always the food and service was top notch.
Great atmosphere, service and food. Went for my birthday and everyone enjoyed the venue. If you have not been here definitely put it on your list of sushi restaurants.
The sushi was fresh. Service was not good. Waiter kept getting our orders mixed up. Items arrived that we didn't order, forgot to bring the drinks. Felt a little sterile
Rice in sushi was mushy making it difficult to eat. Tuna tower is quite tasty. Dumplings are always good. This restaurant has been good so many times before that we will return.
Our server Michelle was excellent ... very attentive to our large party. They have a great selection of rolls ... we loved everything and highly recommend the ahi tower.
Birthday great overall experience!
We always enjoy this location and the food is always premium this is why we travel to that location
I came here with a party of eight to celebrate my birthday. We had a wonderful time. Our server Michelle was excellent and attentive. If food was so good we ate until we were full and couldn’t eat anymore. My friends and I would definitely come back!!!
Very good service and quality of food. Highly recommend to any sushi lover
Outstanding as always. Great service and Sushi
Service was extremely slow. The waiter was hustling, but he had too many tables. Food was okay, but didn’t taste as fresh as normal.
Great food and service
Staff and server went above and beyond to take care of our party, we’ll definitely be back!
Wasn't their fault, we had a for up of women cackling behind us, we had to move but they were very accommodating
Great food! Great ambience. Wonderful choice for our sons birthday.
Everything was good, but there’s certainly better sushi at similar prices in this neighborhood
The Hamachi Heaven and the Miso Black Cod are stunningly tasty, but be ready to drop some coin.
Love this place they never dissatisfied
Great sushi. Rainforest and Mega Lobster rolls are must tries.
The menu is awesome. The food was amazing. Our server, Annika was fantastic. A perfect date destination.
Their ahi tuna tower is one of the things I miss about not living in Houston. So happy to see this lovation, as their downtown location can be tough to access (you have to park underground and hope you come up street level at thw right spot). Love this place for delicious sushi!!
Very elegant with a romantic setting! I took my fiancé there for anniversary and I was very impressed. Service was good, food was outstanding and really set the mood. I can't wait to go back !
This is a great place to eat sushi/sashimi. The service was excellent, the food variety and quality was great and overall we enjoyed the place very much. Not too noisy despite being pretty busy. Reservations are recommended.
Blue Fish is always good, but even great with kids! We brought our three boys under 6 and they made us feel SO welcome! I cannot recommend them highly enough for families, which isn't always the case when mom and dad have a sushi craving!
Good happy hour; poor service the last few times; downtown location better
Very loud but atmosphere was good. Food was delicious as always.
Totally recommend the Ahi Tower, you don't need anything else...
Rolls seemed like they had been made earlier. Didn't seem fresh....a little mushy. The tempura app was good.
Pretty good. Server seemed a bit scatter brained. Prices are definitely better at other sushi restaurants that are just as good.
Sushi was delicious, so much to choose from on the menu. Service was great, both the waiter and management were available to answer questions. Very happy with service overall.
This chain and this restaurant in particular has really great food and professional servers. Happy hour is unmatched. Highly recommend.
Excellent as always. Happy Hour M-F, 5-7pm a very good value.
Horrible experience. Our waitress was mediocre. I was at Bluefish on a Friday evening with my family, celebrating passing of my Registered Dietitian state exam. At the end of our dining experience, the waitress approached our table in the midst of our table having great conversation and proceeded to inquire about her tip and expressed her dissatisfaction with the tip she received in front of the entire table. Never in my life have I ever witnessed behavior like this or have been apart of such embarrassing, unprofessional behavior at a restaurant like this. It was quite embarrassing on her part and on ours. I made sure to give her a piece of my mind as well as let the manager be aware of the unprofessional, horribly awkward situation that their mediocre waitress put us in. She runed such a pleasant night. I will never return here again.
Had a good time. We took our kids and they enjoyed it as well.
Meh! Very average sushi.. would not go back. There are much better sushi places in Houston. I have eaten there 3 times before that were better but this last time the food was not up to par.
Blue fish marked that I did not attend my reservation made through Open Table- which I did in fact attend tonight for dinner. Dinner was great, but we felt that the management was rushing us out and trying to flip our table before we were even finished and before they had even brought the bill. The ahi tower is one of my favorite dishes, and I tried two new rolls that were delicious. I have always loved blue fish- but tonight was a pain.
