Birthday celebration...the trout was under seasoned...cooked perfectly. Wait staff attentive but not friendly. Great COVID-19 practice
Wonderful meal. The only let down was the salad. I ordered the Ceasar salad it it was rather bland. The rest of my meal was excellent. Service was perfect.
Always great food here!
Make sure you ask for Bobby! Best waiter I've had in years!!
We are always pleased by our dining experience at The Bistro. We go there for special occasions. The service is always great and the food is very good. I like the hearty nature of the menu, and we particularly like the French onion soup, the excellent beef filets, and the duck.
Our choice of table (front booth) was made available to us which made our anniversary more special.
Food was outstanding!
Excellent steak and seafood!
After an unexpected long wait for our food, one dish came out cold. Manager and server were very apologetic. The second dish was excellent, bread basket great, best cheesecake I've had in a long time. Server Jill was excellent. If ever have occasion to return would eat there again.
Grossly overpriced. Trout was very oily and salty. Salad was drenched in dressing. Cornish game hen had hardly 2oz of meat along with some carrot and potato side. Roasted pepper soup was good. Service was good as well. No drinks. No dessert. Bill came to over 100 bucks. Save your time and money and pass on this place.
Excellent food and service. Wine list is exclusively Biltmore wines.
Food and wine were wonderful!
Great service, Thanks Lemar for really giving us top notch service. The sweet potato poblano soup was absolutely delicious.
This was the best meal we had all weekend while staying on the Biltmore grounds. It was our anniversary and they sent us beautiful free dessert and made us feel very special!
It was average
Very disappointing. Poor service. Blaming COVID for their lack of urgency. Waited over an hour for meal.
Not what I expected for a restaurant inside the Biltmore. I’ve had reservations for weeks and looked forward to it.
The location is spectacular; the hotel the restaurant is attached to is above average. But, The Bistro was a real disappointment. We will not be making reservations there again.
Clean, very friendly and attentive. Practicing social distancing with 50% of tables removed. My duck was delicious but a little fattier than I like it.
You must have a reservation during this time.
food was outstanding and service even better
the trout was excellent and the special steak frites best medium cut in a while
try the Antler wine
Good menu, Outstanding Food and Service. Good COVID safety.
The food was wonderful and so were the drinks. The coffee we had with dessert was one of the best cups of coffee I have ever had.
Excellent anniversary dinner location. Food and service is primo, like everything at Biltmore.
The food was delicious, we went with the fried almond brie, french onion soup, scallops and steak frites. We also enjoyed their take on a dirty martini (with blue cheese stuffed olives) and some Biltmore brut. As much as I could go on and on about the food the best part of the experience was our server, Elania. She was SO friendly and knowledgeable. We really enjoyed our evening because of her amazing customer service and smile. We will be back!
We didn’t see cleaning of tables between customers. That was concerning.
The Bistro has always been a great place for a good meal.
We enjoyed sitting outside with a nice glass of Biltmore wine with excellent service and a nice dinner.
We had a delicious meal and a wonderful evening. The service at Biltmore Bistro restaurant is always exceptional and was excellent this evening! Highly recommended the Bistro at Biltmore! Can’t wait to dine there again!!
Fantastic service, food, and environment. Would definitely go back again.
Quite frankly, this was our first dining out at a restaurant since the covid-19 pandemic.
Food was awesome as always, and our server Bobby, was awesome as usual.
We did feel quite safe as clearly the restaurant was abiding by North Carolina law with covid-19 safety practices certainly in place, and being carried out.
It certainly was a welcomed time.
Great place to stop and appreciate the day after a wine tasting
Bobby waited on us. I had trout-outstanding! He told us they had scallops also. I was torn so he brought me 2 scallops with my entree
My wife had risotto and chicken
Told Bobby it was our anniversary and he sent desert with happy anniversary written in chocolate
Bobby is the best waiter we've ever had
The salad and trout dinner was delicouis and service was great!
The ribeye was the star of the show - a good cut cooked to perfection. It seemed to be a popular choice across the restaurant as you could hear the orders being called in the kitchen. A good place for a special evening.
Covid protocol in place and followed. Almond fried Brie excellent. Seafood bouillabaisse a standout. Wine flight available. Service on point. Would visit again.
Food was good but overpriced and a little underwhelming.
A very enjoyable dining experience. My husband says the trout compares to the best steak he has ever eaten . High praise! Wait staff made the experience even more enjoyable! When on the estate, don’t miss it!
Despite all the COVID requirements making the restaurant feel half full, the experience was great. The food was incredible with quality fresh ingredients cooked perfectly. Our server was very friendly and informative. Definitely recommend the duck which was wonderful.
Dined in while staying at the Village with my eight-year-old daughter. Great food and atmosphere! A little on the pricey side, but well worth it. We left with full bellies and a great mother / daughter memory.
Food was very good. Filets came out exactly how we like it. Service was very good.
This place was so busy but service was not lacking. This place is great. The food was phenomenal!!! They made sure to let the one gluten-free person in our group know that they did have gluten-free options. The wine and wine service was fantastic. This place was the best choice for us to enjoy the Biltmore. Thank you!!!
