My love and I were greeted by Lenny , a most gracious gentleman, who sat us that evening. Our evening together once seated was positively lovely. Our server, chefs, and all the other guests around us were all amazing. We felt most comfortable all evening , staying longer after our meal . Thanks everyone for a beautiful dining experience. See you soon.

Always great at the Bear!!! I had the salmon and it was fantastic.. we were seated in the covered porch area and it was great for our group of eight..

As expected and as usual a great place, really good food, really great wines. Service could not be better. And the Bearsville Theatre is right on he campus!

As always, the Bear Cafe never disappoints. We had a seat overlooking the stream, which is so beautiful and adds the the great ambiance of this incredible Woodstock restaurant. We had dinner there on Christmas Eve and just loved it. Food and wine were great, service unsurpassed. Wonderful experience every time we come here.

Absolutely loved The Bear Cafe. Lovely Christmas atmosphere with a small band playing festive music and twinkling lights decorating the restaurant. We are visiting from Scotland and we were made to feel very welcome. Service excellent and food delicious. The salmon main course stunning. Highly recommend a visit.

The Ravioli dish that I had was excellent, it had some sort of sage sauce, not sure if it's a staple of the menu, but it's worth trying for a non-meat/fish dish. My dining partners had the roast chicken which tasted very good, I did not try the mashed potatoes or veggie that came with it, my other dining partner had the salmon, which he said was good, I did not try it. I think it's a very cool place to eat, esp if you are going to the Bearsville Theatre, but worth the trip to just try out a new place as well. The staff was very friendly and efficient.
