Went to B & B before a performance at Jack Singer. Staff was efficient and friendly, food was good and came promptly, would recommend to stop in before going to a performance at Arts Common. The wings smelled and looked great, we had the ravioli and truffle flatbread, both were great.

The waitress was good but messed up the bills so badly. Through out the night kept asking us our names for orders and when it came to tallying it up she had really messed up the food and drinks on each others orders. Quite disappointed with that part of the service.

Service was not as good as we remember. Very slow. Server forgot drink order. And forgot some of the food order. Food was good. Also the server sold us drinks that were not on happy hour when we told her we wanted happy hour drinks. Both beers she sold us were not included for some reason.

Great service and atmosphere. Started with wings and then three courses and assorted beverages. Although when I booked the reservation, wing special was 2.95$ per pound of wings on the online menus for Wednesdays, when we got there it was couple bucks more - still a good deal but disappointing that they had changes the price.

Awful. I made this reservation two months ago, and we get there and they give us the most uncomfortable, crowded table in the place. My back was up against the guy at the table next to us. And when we asked if we could sit at a different table, they said no, even though I could see a ton of empty tables in the place. Never coming back.

One of the worst dining experiences of my life. The only redemption is the setting is beautiful. Food came out cold and had clearly been sitting out. After an hour and a half we were still waiting for our second round of drinks that arrived inaccurate. I spoke to the manager about the poor service and his response was “it has already happened so what do you want me to do about it”. Highly discourage giving this place your business unless you want to look at the setting with no food or beverages the whole time.

No one to greet us as it wasn’t busy. We just sat at a table. There were 3 servers but they just were chatting and laughing and goofing around at bar. One server was serving a table. Didn’t even look at us. We waited for a bit and just left. I realize it was late but we would have had a few drinks.

We were excited to try Bank and Baron because of the historical location. Unfortunately it did not meet our expectations. We had to make several beer selections before we found one they actually had available, we were seated in a dark corner under the stairs where they had to move a coat rack (there was hardly anyone there, so not sure why we couldn’t sit in a neat location in the space), the fries were waaay too salty, and there was no toilet paper in the bathroom stall I used. We were confused why no one was on their patio or in the restaurant on a Saturday night when most other restaurants along Stephen Ave were busy, but our experience explained why…

We were charged for extra alcohol but didn’t notice till after we paid. The food was very bland and plain. I added chicken to my Caesar salad and was astonishing that it was half the price of the salad additionally. The dressing was bland. The beef dips were really bland as well. My drink was 50% water and the waiter never filled my drink up again so I had nothing till we were all done I have been here a few times. Not sure why this experience was so terrible

They seated us anyways, but I would have preferred to know about the event in advance since it was incredibly loud. The food was okay. Had I known about the private event I would have made a reservation else where. Overall I was disappointed.

Love the old bank building, menu looked good, had the gnocchi but it was just okay, slightly overcooked (Keeping in mind this is a hard dish to make). Love the wine selection, and overall moodiness of the building. Asked the server to tell us about the ghosts in the building but she had no interest. Overall was an okay business meal but could have been better. I would go back to try it again at a less busy time.

We made a reservation for a family dinner to celebrate my birthday. When we arrived we waited for a very long time before the waitress, who did not seem very happy to even be at work, came to greet us. When she was told about the reservation, she didn't seem to know what was going on and had to go speak with the manager. When we got inside the table was unfortunately not going to work out as members of our group have mobility issues and cannot sit on bar stools. It took two more problems before we had to instruct the young lady to have the manager come over to speak with us. When I told the manager that we'd asked for mezzanine seating, we were told that it was reserved for larger events and a spend limit was required. This information is not on the website anywhere and it would have been useful to know. After we spoke to the manager about changing tables, a booth was offered, rather sizeable, I'd estimate 8 people could sit there. There was a single person sitting in it but our group were the ones who were asked to choose somewhere else to sit, without even consulting the other person about the issue. We ended up leaving the restaurant disappointed and with a sour feeling about it. I would not recommend this restaurant nor it's staff with their cavalier management and unenthusiastic staff. Find a better spot to go.

Everything was OK. The building is beautiful and the food is decent. The service was good. Nothing exceptional other than the space itself. I’ll go again.

Our group had an hour for lunch and service was so slow, took 1.5 hours. They served groups ahead of us, making us feel really unimportant. Food was subpar and even though we had a reservation they seated us in back in front of the kitchen. Do not recommend.

"Would not recommend the fish and chips - the batter was very heavy and doughy. We were seated upstairs which had the advantage of being a bit quieter but I was disappointed as you don't get the open grand feeling of the lower level which is what I like best about this place. The beer was cool not cold and our poor server, worked hard but with having to run up and down stairs for food, pour and serve drinks - a lot for one person. Have been there on less busy nights and had a better experience.
