Once seated, guests can then begin their dining experience by helping themselves to our extravagant 50-60 item seasonal salad area. You will find this is a steakhouse that even vegetarians loveTM. Sample four freshly made in-house salad dressings, gourmet artisan breads, imported cheeses, fresh buffalo mozzarella, steamed asparagus with strawberry sauce, Brazilian hearts of palm, grilled Portobello mushrooms, Greek olives, shrimp salad, imported Italian salamis, sautéed mushrooms, herbed sweet onions, feijoada (black beans), jasmine rice, spicy surimi sushi, soup du jour, and many other specialties
Not our most memorable experience. The top sirloin was very tough. There wasn’t as much variety as usual. The quality was just not consistent this time.
Buffet … ok but not well maintained
Meat on skewered brought to our table
Good meat and as much as we could eat plus!
Has the feeing of a place that needs oversight and a maintenance crews attention
Sort of upscale cafeteria feel
Beware of adjacent parking lot. It is close, safe, and convenient and $25.
Meats plenty but bland, dry and chewy
The list goes on. Will never visit this poorly managed restuarant ever again. I'll be taking my money to chama gaucha everytime. And I recommend to everyone to do the same.
It was an amazing experience highly recommend
Best meal I've had since moving to Texas a year ago. Even a day later my body still felt great. Not just delicious but fresh and healthy. Awesome meal. I do not eat meat so I only ate from the salad bar. Everything there was delicious.
Great night with my wife and this place was amazing and delicious. I highly recommend and you will not be disappointed.
Excellent food, excellent service, spicy pork/sirloin was great!
We absolutely love Texas de Brazil. So on our anniversary trip we naturally wanted to eat there. However, our experience was no a good one. The food was outstanding as usual. But there were MANY downsides to our experience and they are listed below; our waitress only came by our table twice the whole night, we have to call on the main hostess to send meats around, we went about 25 minutes without seeing any meat, we were out of things on our table and had to flag numerous people down to refill the items because our waitress wasn’t around. Once we brought the information to her we watched her laugh with another colleague and return 20 minutes later. Terrible service and experience. Wouldn’t recommend the San Antonio location to anyone.
Had the worst Service in my life there probably will never return it was the worst $250 I spent
Terrible experience. Virtually no service. Reservation was at 7:15 and didn’t get seated until 7:45. The restaurant was half empty
This was the worst experience at a Brazilian restaurant we have ever had. Brazilian is our favorite type of restaurant and we have been to many in the U.S. and Brazil. This was terrible, we were in a room off the dining room and many of the servers just walked past never entering the room. The waiter never brought our drinks, or refilled the sides. Not just our table but others tables served themselves water from a sideboard until we ran out of water. We had guests with us for thanksgiving I can’t express how uncomfortable this dinner was.
We have eaten at Texas de Brazil a dozen times…i believe they a slipping on overall quality. This restaurant used to be exemplary. Sorry
Thanksgiving dinner unconventional.
Randy our server was excellent. Unfortunately the 2 bottles of wine we ordered were not available. Each were a magnum & person who pulled the wine tried to pass off a smaller bottle for the same cost. Table was near wine display & we were repeatedly ignored when asking for specific meat. Salad bar was out of items & had to ask for a refill. Disappointed to say the least. Time 330-5:00. We visit at least 4x a year & normally are very satisfied.
Broken table at first, had to be moved, bad service, refills took too long. Had to keep asking for things. Then they had the audacity to recommend a tip starting at 18%. I was going to leave 0$ but my wife said it was a holiday so I left something. For fine dining, the servers are no better than ihop. I’ve gotten better service at chick fil a.
I specifically go for the Lobster Bisque and it had a terrible burnt taste:(
Great Thanksgiving experience. Food was great. The food delivery was a little slower than usual, but attributing that to the holiday and maybe from Covid staffing. We'll definitely be going back.
Food was great. Salad bar was awesome and I like the added level of protection of having guests wear gloves at the salad bar. This should have been a thing even before COVID. That was a big plus. Staff were super helpful and friendly.
We loved the experience! They kept bringing more and more! So yummy! Desserts are larger portions also. We went for thanksgiving! Everyone was so helpful explaining what some things are.
Giddean was very helpful and accommodating. Perfect evidence for a special day. Will come again
Horrible experience. Lack of service and meats. Not worth the money.
Had a great anniversary dinner there. Would highly recommend this place on a special occasion.
Our waitress was rude. Never introduced herself and seemed like she was having a bad night. She never really came to check on us and rolled her eyes when we flagged her down to ask for a drink refill. We’ve been here many times before but this night was definitely the worst thanks to our waitress. Wish we had stuck with Brasao for the night.
Third time overall going to Texas de Brazil. First 2 times in Salt Lake City, Utah. And just last night, here in San Antonio, Texas. The San Antonio location was by far more superior in my opinion in terms of space and ambiance. Service was stellar as always. And the food? Well, blew me away as it normally does. Always hits the mark for me.
First time experiencing this place. Was celebrating my 35th birthday and enjoyed every bit of it. The service was great and the food was exceptional!!! Can not wait till we are back in the area, will definitely be returning!
Nicolas is a fantastic waiter!!! He constantly made sure that we had everything we needed. The food was superb! We will return again soon. We miss the valet parking though.
Literally the worst Brazilian steakhouse, the service was horrible and the selection of meats wasn’t much. I went because of convenience, I usually go to chauma gaucha so I gave it a chance. Definitely not worth it. We had to ask for our plates Atleast 5 times. If you order drinks from the bar they will forget as soon as you order.
The salad bar is great!! Everything else was decent. Our server never brought us a bar menu or any other drinks other then water.
Poor service. Waitress not very attentive. Kept forgetting things when asked. Meats were slow to come around and didn't change until I got a manager involved. Side dishes came more than 30 minutes after starting our dinner. Water glasses were hardly refilled. We were asked if we would like a fresh plate only once and it was when we were done eating. Clearly needed a fresh plate after the trip to the salad bar. Upscale restaurant but the service received is what you would expect from a fast food place. That being said, I cannot justify the price. We were there to celebrate 2 birthdays. Entered that notation on the open table reservation. Saw it notated on the printout when we sat however the notation was never recognized. STAY AWAY!
Good food, great evening on the RW
It was Saturday night so it was busy. The meat servers were great, kept our plates full! Will go back again!
Highly recommend the lamb chop, all the meats were great but the lamb chop was the best, so juicy and full of flavor
Great food, no complaints, will go again! We were pleasantly surprised.
The servers were excellent and the food was amazing!
Steak was consistently over cooked and dry. Waiter seemed to try and rush me and my guests.
It’s an expensive version of Golden Corral.
Service was terrible every piece of meat was tough.
Made the reservation 1 month ahead of time & table wasn’t ready when we arrived (plus a terrible location).
Menu is misleading. Limited vegetable & dessert choices.
Save your money.
Though surrounded by other customers, we were able to converse without having to raise our voices.
The idea of when one is ready for more meat is ideal and workers were on their toes ready to serve
Unfortunately, the Veteran's Day discount has been decreased to only 25% off for 2021
Service was totally awful, gauchos and waiters left us on our own. You can say that it was a busy night, but as the time passed and there were less tables to wait, attention never improved, not a bit.
