This is one of our favorite restaurants in Utah. When we heard they were closing because of the virus, we had to come eat one last time. We hope they don’t close too long!

The food was so so. I was expecting way more for the price. Rodizio is way better and the price is better. I also had to ask 3 times for my soda and finally got it as we were finishing up our meal. Was not impressed at all.

We eat there quite often. This time we sat without any service of meats for almost 15 minutes and waited for our check for almost the same amount of time. The food was good but the big gaps in service made it a mediocre experience.

Excellent service. We were seated right away. The waitress was very attentive and fast. The manager stopped by 2 times and even brought us our drinks. The meat was perfect and plentiful, hardly any wait for the servers.

Having been to many locations of this brand, this location would score the lowest of the ones I have dined. many times the meat servers would pass our table without any offering and more frequently had to flag them down, especially on a slow Monday night. I asked about the getting lamb chops and i was told by one staff that they don't have it because of change in distributer and cost. I asked the same question from my server I was told its too expensive to serve so they don't serve it... wow, what an answer....there should have been a sign in the front, notice on company website that this establishment charges you a full price, but won't serve you Lamb chops. this way as a consumer I have a choice to either dine or go somewhere else.
The whole experience was subpar, have you send a mystery guest to Fogo de Chao. maybe they should open a location and take you out of business or have you come to senses and provide a better service and food. I can tell you this served as my last time in any Texas de Brazil. GO FOGO DE CHAO

Not worth it. The manager is obviously a coke head who lacks people skills, and is just rude. One of the hostesses (dark hair, short) was friendly, the other one (blonde ish), seemed to be coked out like the manager. They ignored us for 2 minutes when we walked in even though nobody else was there. Our waitress was great (only reason for 2 stars are her and the one nice hostess), the food was mediocre (very inconsistent when it came to how the meat was cooked), and the variety was poor-pork and chicken were cycled through 4 times each before the filet was offered. The salad bar was good-not great. And most of the food was luke warm. If you have really low expectations and want to spend a lot of money, try it out, otherwise, don’t bother, there are plenty of other great restaurants to spend your time and money at.

Had an 8 o’clock reservation. Didn’t get seated till 9:15. Wasn’t enough staff or a bartender. Our waitress had to pour our drinks and we didn’t receive it until we were halfway through entrée. Food was good. Not enough staff!

We were really disappointed with this visit. We had a table near the front and in the center and our table kept getting passed by the meat servers. There were 2 that would make sure to get us but we had our 3 small children there and it took 2 hours to even attempt to see all the meat options. After the first hour I tried to find our server to see if I could request some of the meats we hadn't seen and I couldn't even flag her down for a half hour. I had better luck asking one of the meat servers and he brought me a couple of my requests. Then after I spoke to the server she was very quick to get our bill ready but it took more than 30 minutes for the requested meat to arrive so we just ended up leaving. Not only that but their tip calculations at the bottom of the receipt are NOT accurate. They were off not by cents, but by dollars, and on the higher end too. We will not be returning. Rodizio's and Tucanos have way better service and salad bar options.

We went on Valentines Day for the first time and that probably wasn't the best decision. We wait 30 minutes after our reservation to be seated, but after that our waiters were great, the food was amazing and we had a great time. Definitely will go back another night not on a holiday!!

Overpriced for what you get. The meat quality is good, but lacked flavor. Service is slow and inattentive. The salad/side bar doesn’t have as many options as other similar restaurants. Skip Texas de Brazil and go to Tucanos instead.

We have tried just about every Brazilian steakhouse out there. And unfortunately Texas de Brazil is the most expensive and has the least amount of meat variety. Also their salad bar is the smallest out of any I’ve been to.

I wanted beef ribs and lamb chops which they no longer Carrie as meat selection but advertise they do. The people serving meat were slow getting to tables. Fried banana was very good and salad bar was well stocked and quality was good.

I was disappointed in the value.
It's not that it was bad the food was average.
With the exception of the lobster bisque was very good!. I don't mind paying over$100 to go out to eat but I want it to be worth it. I took my wife there for Valentine's day and it won't be going back

Overall we had a good experience here. The service was very good, the meat was solid, but they were literally out of five out of the six bottles of wine we requested. Pretty strange. I’m not necessarily a connoisseur of wine but it’s frustrating when you choose something and they spend five or 10 minutes looking for it, come back and tell you no, then you go through the whole process again.

This place has great ambiance and out waiter was GREAT! We eat here maybe two to three times a year.
Sat in the area near the kitchen (first time ever) you can watch the employees cook up the meats. The area where we sat in the floors were super greasy. So this made walking a little weird. I would push my chair in and it would just slide back out. I mention this because this could actually be a concern for maybe an elderly person or a child slipping and really hurting themselves.

The atmosphere is nice. The location is good for pre theater dining. The food isn’t very good and it’s very expensive. My $30 salad bar was loaded with all kinds of interesting and different food, but everything was bland. It all tasted the same. Add a glass of wine tip and tax and it’s a $50 meal per person.

Honestly the food here is great. Our experience was hampered however when we had “reserved” a table for 7:00pm and we weren’t seated until 7:35pm. This is frustrating as it is not a reservation but more a call ahead option. Also our waitress was pretty absent the whole time. Food is great but they have some logistical issues that they need to work out.

Our server started very friendly but his service lacked attention to detail, it was disorganized and extremely slow. Food was good but meat servers were very slow as well, quality of meat was good though. Overall experience was just ok. There are plenty of really good restaurants in SLC to choose from, Texas de Brazil is not one of them. We will not be coming back.

We arrived at 5:45 and were promptly seated. When I got my plate there was food caked all underneath it. The next plate had the food on top. I let the waitress know and she took them away. I found a clean one and tried some of the hot items on the side board. I was excited when I saw the scalloped potatoes! Well they were barely warm and turned cold quickly. I could not eat them because of this. I was also looking forward to the hearts of palm I had seen on your web site. I had to pick out the ones in the back because the others looked like they had been out awhile and were curling on the edges.

The meat: when I found out my friends were taking me here I looked it up and saw all the different kinds of meats I was going to get to try. Well, the ones I really wanted to try were never offered. I wanted to try the Barbecued Pork ribs, Braised Beef Ribs, Lamb Chops, and the Picanha. They never came around with these. I did try the Parmesan Drumettes and they were dry.

I did like the lobster bisque and our waitress was very nice. However I was disappointed in the cleanliness and the quality. It certainly was not worth the amount my friend paid.

I would give it a 5 star but as for now only 3 since i was so excited to try the meats from this place and after 1:30 hours of being there i only had 5 type of meats and those were mostly chicken and sausage, the servers focused more into the private party behind us rather than the people that went there for dinner, I came here for my anniversary, i have gone to plenty i would say “high quality” restaurants in the past years and most when i tell them that is my anniversary, they leave a little something like a note, a rose, even a word from the waitress congratulating us, but here i had Nothing at all, i made the reservation for 8pm, I arrived 10 minutes early (7:50) to make sure they knew i will be using my reservation, i sat on my table at 8:34, over all my expectations were not accomplished whatsoever, I only paid around $120 for the two of us so it wasn’t bad at all but for the price paid, I would’ve expected at least to try all the meats, get my table on time or at least a congratulations from the staff, overall my expectations were not accomplished but i wont say they are a terrible restaurant because all businesses have bad days in my experience, i will be coming back to this restaurant soon and update my review, as for now i only had a 3 star experience.

The food was good. No more lamb chops which is why I personally pay the higher price to go there. Our server was super cute and outgoing but pretty much forgot about us. We asked several other servers for help and refills and plate removal. Most likely wont be going back. There are much less expensive Brazilian places in the valley.

Poor service from start to end. Usually I have great experiences at Texas De Brazil wherever I go however this was a bad dining experience. I waited to be served for extended periods of time, meat was overcooked with very few servers, and left disappointed giving the price you pay for a great dining experience at these locations. I will not return to this location.
