Bowl of House-Made Lobster Bisque
Great service. Everyone was polite.
Great filet mignon.
Had the salad bar and there the food was frozen or rubbery. Not worth the price. Recommend going somewhere else
Over priced for quality of food. Meat not cooked to requested temperature. Service from the meat guys was incredible, from actual server, not so much. Ordered a mojito that was not good and sent back.
This was on a Saturday at 5:30 Pm in a not super busy restaurant.
It took 15 minutes to get acknowledged at the front desk but then only 5 minutes to be seated for our reservation time. This was my first time being back since Covid has started and the overall experience has definitely changed. This restaurant doesn’t feel exclusive and high-class anymore so $50 a plate just doesn’t fit.. especially with the quality of the meat that is now being brought around. The filet mignon.. there was no moo left when they served it. We asked for medium rare on all beef and we understand that it will vary between times of being served.. but the filet mignon being that over-done every time it was brought around was crazy to me.
On a good note: the sautéed mushrooms, potatoes au gratin, and mostly everything on the salad bar was amazing! But the salad alone wasn’t worth a $50 plate.
This review goes for each time it was served to the table because I gave each cut multiple chances**
The bacon wrapped chicken was bland and only tasted like bacon. I think the idea was mesquite-BBQ or something but it wasn’t there each time.
The lamb sirloin was well well well done and the seasoning was mostly absent.
The flank steak tasted like charcoal.
The top sirloin was consistently well cooked to medium rare but tasted also like charcoal.
The filet mignon and filet mignon wrapped in bacon were both cooked possibly 4x the required time on heat and ended up presenting itself, taste and texture wise, like a seriously over cooked bad cut of choice sirloin.
The Brazilian sausage was amazing, as always. The best meat that was served but only came around once during our visit.
The pork ribs.. just pass on them. They were dry each time and the flavor was a mix between charcoal and burned BBQ sauce.
The Garlic sirloin was ok, Didn’t taste like charcoal
Out of everything, GET THE BRAZILLIAN CHEESECAKE with the caramel. It was AMAZING.
Wouldn’t revisit, sadly
It was freezing inside. Most customers had on their jackets as well. A bit uncomfortable Eating with a jacket on. Each selection of meat only had well done temperature. So the variety was scarce.
Was ok the salad bar was not great the meats were awesome!
The service at this location was HORRIBLE. The server took our drink orders and never came back. We had to ask another server for assistance. She helped all other patrons around us but ignored us the entire time. I hope they train their employees to treat everyone fairly as you never who you may be serving.
Horrible experience . We were there for half hour and we didn't get t any side that they usually serve. But theres two table near us just seated and few mins later after they sit already have their sides. "Both tables "and were there the whole time and we didn't get until we said something to the waitress it's like we don't exist when we were there. And also it was not much selections i think I only have like 4 different kind of meats. Usually there's shrimp also but this time I did not see anything, Definitely not coming back to this pls. Btw I used to like this restaurant . Actually my our 3rd time here. I don't think the money was worst it in here.
Terrible service, food was ok. Server was terrible
It is expensive, but it is very good. Have been there several times and have never been disappointed.
It was an amazing birthday dinner for my boyfriend. Our first time definitely coming back,
Service wasn't very attentive, food from salad bar to steak was poorly prepared and delivered. I was very disappointed with this location staff and food quality the meat were either over cooked or not cooked at all. We ask for well done got beef jerky or burnt bleeding for some weird reason.
I feel like prior to covid this was a great place to dine. But the quality of the food was okay with the salad bar and the options brought to the table. Service was great though.
The food was wonderful, but the fact that a fight broke out in the kitchen and police had to be called seemed to delay some of the service and had everyone on edge. I'm sure that was a one-time event, but it was certainly a unique experience.
No one took out plates out of the table or offer us clean plates, i ordered the rack of lamb chops and took over 30minutes to get it to table by them as was fool of other food. Some of the meats were over cooked and no one cared to ask us what temperature meat we like and manger never stop by to ask us about our service or how was our experience…
Definitely not the environment or service that it was know for, scratching this facility out of our future date plans
Fantastic place. I always enjoy myself at Texas de Brazil.
Ambiance, great service, great food, great price. I would rate it a 5 star restaurant.
Great service and great food and very clean restaurant
Great place for a special occasion but not much variety offered when I went Christmas afternoon.
We enjoyed having our wonderful Christmas dinner at Texas Brazil....so good !
Food was pretty good soup bowls were ice cold, not a great idea for hot soup.
The restaurant was freezing the entire time so much that we put our coats back on we mentioned it to our server snd asked to turn on some heat but all she did was agree it was cold. My beverage the passion fruit margarita was amazing. Only suggestion is for more hot vegetables- the asparagus and green bean options were served cold on the salad bar .
Save your money and keep your family safe. We were robbed at this location inside the restaurant and no one cared or tried to help. We spent hundreds of dollars on dinner and then someone stole from us. Manager was not present and we’ve called and left messages as well as emails with ZERO response. Prior to Covid, this location felt safer and food and service was good but not now.
I wanted to take my mom and dad from out of town to a restaurant that they had never experienced. They really enjoyed the food and the experience. Our server was outstanding and everyone else was so professional!had been there about 5 times and definitely will be returning!
The meat was not what I was expecting. The salad bar was awesome though!
Hot food was cold. Kept getting skipped for meat even though our marker was green. Times meat did not come around
This restaurant needs to improve in the areas of service and value.
It was okay, I had better choices of meats from this restaurant at other locations
The food was fantastic however I believe the drinks were extremely overpriced apparently for one drink was $17.50 you ordered a total of four drinks which came out to $70 and it was the pineapple upside down martini that was extremely Wayover priced.
The waiter really tried to push for the ultimate meal deal. It became confusing with liquor options. I restated what we wanted and still had something extra added I wasn't aware of until the bill. The salad bar wasn't as tasty as I remember, but the lobster bisque was good! The Brazilian Sangria was tasty but was watered down (which we paid extra for and still didn't notice). The kids enjoyed the meats! Our first visit since the pandemic. No rush to return.
We decide to go there for our anniversary, we been there before but it was like almost 8 years apart. This time service was awful. They gave me the wine menu I order one and the waitress told me the don't have that, I asked for something similar and the waitress told me that the manager recommended another bottle I asked if I can try some before getting the bottle and the manager did not approved my request. The restaurant is supposed to be some how upscale and To be denied a sample its just absurd. Food was good some was extremely salty and we have better service by the guys who walk around with the beef… other issue before I forgot is that we did not finish the wine and decided to take it home the waitress reply right away that she threw away the cork. I requested another one she handed to me and there was no carry bag. I believed that the staff is not properly trained. Will not return. Virginia has way better restaurants.
Food was great service not so great. Waited 30 min for our drinks to be forgotten, then 20 min after that to actually get them, didnt get the sides that come with the meal for 10 min after we got the drinks and they were cold. Wasn't the best experience for treating my wife to a birthday dinner and our first time dining there.
This place was filthy, bathrooms don’t match the kind of status that the restaurant holds. I’ve been to other similar places and cleanliness is a must but here they lack that, food was alright. Meets took a long time to get to your table or the severs would just skip you without reason even if they saw that green card and your plate empty. The only reason my overall review is a 3 star is due to our server she was a nice lady who did her best to make sure we didn’t leave or at least felt cared for despite the other issue
Good food and great environment. The waiters and everyone were kind and very friendly.
Found a bug on a plate in the salad bar area first thing. Not what I expected. Couldn’t understand the waitress or the meat servers. Food quality wasn’t up to a $100 price point for a dinner for two.
The service staff were great, lots of food. The bar was better than the meet served. The meet was very salty. The place was very cold all customers had to wear heavy coats while seated.
Our waiter was on point in the beginning he was able to upsell our party to do the ultimate verses the traditional however after that the service declined. The drinks came late as well as the bread and other sides. For what we notice he paid more attention to others that came in after us then us. The was no attention to refills on drinks or attending the table to remove items. I frequent here at least 5 to 6 times through the year if not more and this was the 1st time the service lacked.
The food was tasty but the service was terrible. We will not return.
This was our second visit and it just seemed to not be as good as a few years ago. The meat was salty and very fatty. It seemed to take forever for them to come around also. We definitely won’t be back for how much we paid versus the quality of the food and service.
A good time was had by our guests and ourselves. My only complaint is that several times I noticed that a table near the kitchen was being preferred by the meat servers, even after we had specifically asked for certain items. Our schedule was tight, but we were there for just under 90 minutes. We have eaten there thrice and have never had this problem in the past.
For my husband's and I first time dining,
I would have to say, the food was horrible. The hot sides they served us was cold. We had the last reservation so I don't know if that had anything to do with but still for an expensive meal, I feel I did not get my moneys worth. And my martini taste only like juice, definitely watered down for me.. the wine glasses had some stains in it. I wish they also served more chicken as a meal. I don't eat beef or pork. Should have done more research. I do feel that just because it was last reservation, it was bad but if you go early I believe you could have more of a specialty.
