It wasn’t what I expected, the salad bar was great the meat wasn’t nothing to write home about!
Overall it was decent I would not b returning
We have been here many times before and most times it has been great. This time was quite disappointing. We went quite early as we have young kids, and they sat us near the entrance which is on the opposite side of the kitchen. There was almost no meat circulating the restaurant and the ones that were rarely made it over to our table.
After 20 mins, we had 3 meats reach our table. Some of the picanha that was served was very over cooked (but others were fine), but the bacon wrapped fillet was almost raw. The bacon was completely soft and chewy and the fillet could only be considered blue.
They are also not considering social distancing in the restaurant layout. When we arrived we noticed that the tables were as close as before the Pandemic, but we assumed they would not seat people at all tables. It became clear this was not the case as every table around us was seated with others being less than 2ft away.
We visited TDB on a Saturday, it was quite busy. The service was definitely lacking, which was kind of disappointing to both of us. We typically came not on a weekend and the service is much better. That evening the food was inconsistent. The same Lamb chops, one of them was super tender, melt in your mouth, the other two came out burnt & a bit overcook, despite, the same doneness request "Medium". Otherwise, happy to see the buffet - you can serve yourself, are back with a very good provision on TDB to asked for gloves & mask while in the buffet area.
Delicious food and very great service! Definitely worth the visit.
Wish they would have informed us in advance they did not have any drinks or coffee/cappuccinos for dessert as we had a reservation. I know there was a boil water advisory but I thought they would figure something out, bottled water or boil it and let it cook. It was also very dark in the restaurant. I get setting the mood but that was a little too dark. Otherwise everything was good.
Lovely experience & great customer service definitely coming back!
It was great! Our waiter was attentive and kind. He accommodated every request we made even with them being as busy as they were. I’ve dined at one of these establishments in Louisiana but this was my first in Texas. I’ll be visiting again.
We visited there for our anniversary The food and drinks are great. I would recommend the Brazilian mojitos drink. The atmosphere is nice and pleasant
La comida bien Rica pero el servicio un poco lento
We decided to have our Valentine’s dinner at Texas de Brazil because several people had recommended it to us. It was a pretty great experience. Everything was absolutely spot on. The food, the servers, the environment, etc. Will definitely be returning in the near future!
Quite honestly the worst TDB dining experience I’ve ever had. A server who was largely inattentive, meat service below par, and coupled with a server who seemed/felt put out every time you asked for something, combined to make this a rather forgetful evening.
The food was delicious, but all of a sudden the meat stopped coming (cards were still on green). Waited 30 minutes for a Diet Coke, and another 15 for our check. We weren’t full, but not having anything to drink kind of put a damper on it. The table behind us had the same server. My husband watched, the drink thing is a pet peeve of his, they NEVER ran out of drink. Maybe he thought because I ordered water and we weren’t drinking alcohol we wouldn’t tip well, little did he know... I had looked forward to this dinner for 2 weeks, only to have it spiked by the server. I did my research, We didn’t eat salad, very little of the hot bar, and drank water so we wouldn’t fill up. He is a big meat eater, and this was a surprise dinner for him.
Myself and my fiancé enjoyed one of the best meals of our live the day before Valentine’s; as we knew it’d be tough to get a table day of. It was our first time at a Brazilian Steakhouse and it definitely didn’t disappoint! The food was immaculate, and the service was definitely 5 star! All this was topped off by a delicious piece of Carrot Cake! Can’t wait to come back!
Food was good as usual. Salad bar safety actions appreciated. The server was overwhelmed as she ran back and forth to the front room for everything. Bottom line is the service just wasn’t up to the expectations set by menu pricing
Valentines date was a success. The place was quiet and clean as usual. Service was awesome. Food was delicious. Never a bad choice.
Clean, reservations were on time, amazing food, and friendly staff.
The food and value was good. The service isn't as great as a traditional steakhouse but it's still above average.
The dinning area was cold. Had to request the waiter to see if the temperature could be turned up. Admittedly he said it was not the first complaint about the cold temperature. Food was good kind of standard fair nothing unique. Price person was high considering if you don’t eat much. It is more geared towards big eaters to get the value for the experience. I’d rate it 3 out of 5 stars.
So good. Pricey but worth every penny. Such a yummy dinning experience.
Birthday dinner for my son. He loved the lamb, but since covid began, the food just isn’t as good as it used to be.
Service and environment was very pleasing and enjoyed being there.
Food and service were outstanding! Great value for the money.
The meats were hard to chew. The chicken pieces were tough. Service was slow to come to our table. It’s a nice restaurant but the food really lacked seasoning on the meat.
Great place to eat
We have visited the baton rough location and loved it the service and food. We took a trip to Houston for my girlfriends birthday on the 26th and yall were our restaurant of choice and man the waiter ruined our whole experience dining with yall. He was so rude unatentative.
Extremely good food and service. It's quite expensive though. I couldnt maintain going here consistently. But i recommend it for people with enough money to go
The food was amazing like always. The atmosphere was perfect as well.
So Covid has impacted this place like others. As
A result, I will fo back post review. With that said, I personally think some changes are warranted. First and foremost, discount the meal if you can not fo to the salad bar. They hand you a small list with even smaller writing to “select” what you want off the salad bar with very little light. This is grossly inefficient since they are now using wait staff. Service slows down and the waitstaff still gets the orders wrong. Even with the boxes checked, there was too much on my plate and therefore wasteful adding to operating costs. A better option; which competitors do, is a staffed salad bar that makes your plate as you walk around the salad bar. Over all, the food was good but the waitstaff was difficult to hear and understand.
I’ve been wanting to go for a while but never got around to it and for Christmas we received gift cards so we decided to go for my husbands birthday and i was not disappointed. It was worth the wait. I was stuffed when we left the food was amazing.
Very good if you enjoy Brazilian churrascarias. Large salad bar as well.
... It was horrible and we was celebrating a birthday! We waited forever just to get our dishes that come out before salad... drinks took forever and the waiter was being combative with me when I asked to speak to the manager. The manager wasn't helpful at all as well.... I expected way better service considering the name and the area of location and didn't get it at all! Hope there is more you can do...
I want to add more of a variety of meat selections. A slice of meat I suggest including is a goat.
Delicious and tasty! One of our favorite spots for special events.
Service was terrible, we supposedly got one of the best waiters but he was not good at all. He would take too long to come around. I believe he only came once to ck on us. 👎
It was a birthday date for my husband. We loved it! Our waiter did a great job and made sure we are aware what is going on. We are deaf. So it’s really nice and special for us! We will come back!
Everything taste bland and not everything was cook right. Next day I had stomach ache
Celebrating my son‘s birthday, waiter must’ve been new or an experienced, quite a long wait for drinks and keeping up with salad bar orders, etc. Also not as much fun to try to order from the salad bar from a checklist on a piece of paper, that experience is not as nice as just building at yourself
Food quality was not what we've experienced in the past. Had to wait longer than usual for meats to be presented at numerous points in our meal. We flagged waiters down on several occasion to requests additional drinks or food, they were not as attentive as usual especially considering the location barely had 10 tables full. Overall let down
