We had to request for meat to come our table vs it comes to us automatically. Some of the meat was too salty and over cooked.
Our server was the best ! He was so helpful explaining to us how to order the food
Our waiter angel was great made our visit very enjoyable.
Server was very good but a little slow. The place is too dark, the DC location had a lot of light coming in from everywhere. All things considered it was a good dinner, we’ll be back. Thanks
Staff was very friendly, we were running a little late due to traffic and they took us right in.
Great food and service! Our server was super friendly, nice and very attentive!
Food is not the same as it used to be. Not sure if it’s due to the pandemic but we used to enjoy going there. It was the best steakhouse in the DC area. Not anymore!
Outstanding service and food is excellent. Will come back soon.
Food is good overall experience was nice only thing me and my friends didn’t like was the lack of attention our waiter gave us he came to our table about 3-4 times we had to remind him multiple times if he could refill our drinks.
Our dining experience was excellent from the outstanding service to the amazing food!!! Definitely will be going back soon.
Very good As usual Server, Lilly, was outstanding as were the men who brought the many, many meat choices We will be back
Fat mans dream, so many choices in meat that melts away in your mouth, the salad and sides were great, our waitress was very nice and took care of all out needs, and it was very clean. You deff. Get your money's worth. Will be going again in the future!!!
Service was top notch - and the meats fabulous, we never wanted for anything. Staff was very attentive while not over the top about things. we will be back!
Server wasn’t so attentive , we didn’t refills of our water until we asked during dessert when we were choking on our food
Hardly any of the gauchos came by with the meat offerings
eventhough we had a green circle
Definitely lost its quality after reopening. Was a favorite spot to dine in before but the experience wasn’t pleasant
We have visited this location before during the pandemic and had a good dining experience, but our most recent visit was not that great. First, tables are not six feet apart, 3 feet at most. I didn't feel completely comfortable sitting that close to another diner. Second, the waiter we had was not that friendly, he seemed bothered to assist us and came across as rushed and somewhat rude. Third, the servers that prepared the sides were stingy. They gave you the bare minimum they could and the waiter seemed annoyed when we asked for refills. You are paying a premium to eat here, please provide adequate amounts of sides. For example, the bowl of soup was half-filled. I asked for cabbage salad, they gave me literally 10 julienned pieces of cabbage and carrots?? The meat was not the quality that we had during the last visit, it was tough and there was no variety (maybe 8 different cuts, compared to what they usually have. They also kept skipping our table and we had to wait sometimes 15 to 20 minutes between meats. We waited for lamb-chops and when asked, were told you had to ask for them. How were we supposed to know? I definitely will not be returning to this location. I prefer the Washington D.C. location, but they are still not open due to the pandemic. I probably will not be returning until they reopen.
We always receive top notch service from Texas de Brazil. That is one of the many reasons we keep gong back.
As always food outstanding. I'm brazilian and I can say that the food is authentic. All cust of meat are beyond delicious and de salad bar has so many options. Try the drink Caipirinha .
Everything was great. I would definitely recommend. I will return soon
One of the best Texas de Brazil restaurants. The courtesy of the staff is amazing, and they make sure you receive all the meats you fancy. It is very efficient as well. Zero waiting time having reserved the table, and high-frequency servings.
Cesar was very attentive and brought our sides out quickly. The variety of meats was very good and they were cooked to perfection. We enjoyed the whole experience.
Food was excellent. Service needed improvement, started great but we were almost done when the sides showed up.
Seating could have been better instead of in a corner. Did not appreciated the hostess assuming we were gay instead or work associates who are in town for business. Nothing wrong with LGBT but assumptions should never be made.
First time dining at this location. I usually have a great experience at Texas de Brazil and this time was mostly good. Due to the pandemic I can understand a bit of disorganization but I was a little disappointed with the service. It was a hassle to order from the salad bar, the salads and drinks took too long long to arrive. But my biggest issue was being noticeably ignored by the gauchos. I had to hail them several times to make sure we got a decent selection. Overall good but I’m not sure if I’d come back to this location
It used to be very good. Now it is is even more expensive, extremely expensive and not that good anymore. The salad bar is no longer a salad bar. You receive a ticket which you need to fill out to get anything from the salad bar. This is very annoying. The salad bar is also much smaller, less to choose from, yet the price is higher. Meats are also smaller varieties. I would not go there anymore and I dont recommend it to anyone.
Great for everyday
Good dining experience as always
Greeted by the host and was promptly seated. Jose was on the ball and always asking if we needed anything but was not overbearing. One bad thing was they did not have any of my American beers that I drink
It was overall good given the circumstances.
You guys have done an outstanding job making the switch for the requirements from the governor of Virginia. My dining experience although different from what I was used to in the past, was exceptional! There’s no loss of quality service even though we had to make changes during these unprecedented times. I will gladly be back and I welcome the new changes.
The atmosphere there was serene. It was a beautiful setup and lovely attendants. The steak was good and they kept coming. I will recommend it for anyone
Highly recommend this place. Our family eats here every time we visit the Fairfax area.
I hate to say it but this place has gone downhill. They served us the flank FOUR times, and three times before they brought anything else!! It was bizarre. Additionally, I felt they were trying to get rid of it because it tasted completely different - VERY chewy. No one at our table finished it. The lamb is now by request only. The picanha was delicious as usual but overall I was surprised by how things have changed.
I went on a date with my boyfriend to celebrate his birthday and it was wonderful 😊
The meats were few and far between each server. They basically brought out the chicken or pork several times and the beef steak once, the lamb you had to ask several times, they brought it out once only. Basically, it was just a lot of waiting for the meat.
Ya no es igual que antes
We had a beautiful experience. The ambiance was great, food fantastic and service was outstanding and the resturant was very clean.
The hostesses were very friendly and our waiter was fantastic!
Server was great 👍 and good amazing 😉 price was okay
Staff weren’t enforcing social distancing. The large party begins is we’re standing around the table. A child was twirling all around our table, no mask. Her mom took her right by our table. Neither were masked. The child was watching a children’s show on her tablet, full-volume. For my $200+ bill for just three people, I think we should be able to expect safety and good ambiance, at baseline. I was really disappointed.
I was surprised . In my section all the tables were seated. There was no distancing like I have witnessed with other restaurants.
We waited a long time to get served meats and the bigger tables were visited more than us .
It was a long wait while other people were being serviced
