Terza was created in the spirit of Dell’ Anima which means “soul of the pasta” and celebrating the bountiful flavors of Italy with friends & family. We are committed to Organic Glen plum tomatoes, sustainable Norwegian salmon, fresh fish and wild caught calamari. All of our recipes, fresh pastas and desserts are hand-crafted in house with amoré!

Food was great our server Nick was very accommodating as was the floor manager. Price was reasonable and the food portions were perfect. I’m definitely gonna stop in for dinner again next time I’m in Rochester. Thanks for wonderful service.

This is a class place. Not inexpensive but a reasonable value all considered. House Chard nicely priced and good quality. Interesting variety of Italian foods excellently prepared. Our waiter was terrific -- sorry I forgot his name. We have regarded it as a special occasion restaurant but after a fine lunch (for 4) think we'll change that to one of the regulars.

The food and atmosphere at Terza was good. However, this restaurant did something that I find awkward and uncomfortable. I was dining alone and made a reservation. When I walked in there were several employees at the host stand. They wanted to seat me in one of two less desirable tables near the bar. When I asked to switch it was a small scene while the hosts decided where I could sit. I almost walked out. The fact is that this is a large restaurant and at my dining time was almost completely empty. Causing this type of embarrassment for a single diner who just wants to have a quiet meal is unnecessary and the seating policies too rigid. Most reputable restaurants will allow customers to sit anywhere (within reason) and not try to force customers into taking a less desirable seat because they are so rigid in planning especially when the establishment is not busy. For the record, there were still many open tables when I left. I have criticized service here, but to be clear the server was fine. The hosts were not. For the restaurant...please train your hosts to not put customers on the spot as they did me.

It was a birthday celebration lunch.
The food, wine, and dessert were delicious and plated very nicely.
One member of our party ordered a turkey Brie melt. He stated it was difficult to see or taste the Brie.
That was the only negative expressed by anyone. We will be returning.

The meal was fabulous! A wonderful place to celebrate our anniversary. You know it was an excellent dinner when you are thinking about it the next day!

Everyone of our entrees was excellent. My only comment would be to have some more simple desserts like ice cream that kids could enjoy, otherwise everything was perfect.

Typical of Terza: trying hard, but doesn’t quite cut it. Wait staff distracted. Table was cramped. Brought our salads and our entrees ALL AT ONCE. Really??! Calamari was good. Meals were basically all good. Caesar salad dressing missing garlic (too heavy on the anchovy). Basically, the food is quite good. The timing and service is off.

Had reservations at 6:30. Got a table at 7:00. Very knowledgeable staff. Appreciated the manager checking in. Manhattan cut is thick. Make sure you order it medium well or it will be served VERY red. The bread is delicious and served warm.

We had reservations for 6:30 pm but they were running a little behind but we were seated within 10 minutes of our reservation. We were moved to a booth over the original hightop table that I had reserved which was worth the wait since the hightops were a shared bench on one side and a chair on the opposite side. The food was well prepared and the waitress was attentive. Overall an excellent place that we will visit again.

We had reservations for a table and felt obligated to take the counter by the kitchen. We love coming here for the food but disliked being on the edge of the counter, where we could here the loud clanking of cooking utensils, plates being served, and wait staff coming in and out of the kitchen area. We were expecting more of a romantic setting. Our server was great and very attentive.

There seemed to be some confusion with seating us but we were sat in a timely manner.
We ordered off the Valentine's menu and we're surprised that they were out of a item. Considering it was the special and most people were there with a reservation it seemed it could have been anticipated the demand would be high. Having said that a generous substitution was offered.
Overall the food was very good and the service was fantastic.

My wife and I went to Terza for Valentine’s Day. They were clearly overwhelmed. The waitress was obviously awkward that we were an lgbt couple and never mentioned Valentine’s Day to us. The shrimp scampi was tasteless and the lasagna was all cheese. Won’t be going back.

Our meal was very good - wild mushroom pizza and chicken piccata. Service was a little slow from the bar - which is not uncommon. We were finished with our salads before our drinks arrived. Also, what happened to the bread basket? We only received two thin slices of bread - it used to be that a table received a basket of many types.

Reserved for 4:40 PM on Valentine's Day five days in advance. We were seated at a table in the highest traffic area of the restaurant. We asked the hostess politely to reseat us at a table against the wall, which was open at the time. She returned after checking with the other hostess to tell us "I can't seat you there as it's another server, but you'll be fine as the traffic over against the wall is just as busy". So VERY not true. Five minutes after we were seated another couple was brought to the wall table. It must be restaurant policy for the wait and host staff to call out "CORNER!" or "CORNER, CORNER!"whenever they approached the intersections of where we were seated. Some used a normal voice, most staff used their loud voice, as the music and voice volume in the restaurant was very loud. One hour after we were seated we became conscious of our waitress and the manager speaking together, behind us, about how long it was going to be before we vacated our table. We had literally just finished our dessert, and had 1/4 bottle of wine remaining. The bill was brought to us, and the waitress and other staff made their presence known to us until we finished our wine. I got up to put my coat on, and before I could get one arm in a sleeve there was a bus person removing our dishes, and washing the table off. I had to literally step aside to make room for her task. Yes, we know Valentine's is a busy evening, and restaurants want to maximize their proceeds, but this was ridiculous. The hour and twenty minutes we spent at the table was not overstaying.

Jordan gave us fantastic service! Food was wonderful (though the topping on ravioli was too salty). Enjoyed my birthday dinner very much and complementary limoncello was lovely!

Excellent food served piping hot. Service left something to be desired. Requested a table on the perimeter of the room where lighting is easier on ailing eyes, only to be seated in the middle of the room under LED lights. We were told they were expecting a large party to fill a number of empty tables located ideally in subdued lighting areas, however, during our meal, no large party materialized...
Wait person served cold coffee and neglected to bring our take home goodies back to us.
Well go again because the menu is interesting and the food quality was excellent. We recommend others give them a try as well. Perhaps it was an off service night.
