Taza - A Lebanese Grill (Downtown Cleveland)
By the same family who brought you Aladdin's Eatery!
with Creamy Dip
Sheets of filo filled with walnuts and sweetened with sugar syrup
Char-grilled marinated lamb kabob topped with tomato, onion, lettuce, pickles, turnips and tahini sauce
Very tasty food, reasonably priced. Can be in or outside. Friendly wAitress
Even though it became obvious towards the end of our meal that they were short staffed, the food ambience and most of service was really good.
The food was delicious even if it did not come out in the correct order. On a Saturday night they seemed short-staffed, but what restaurant isn't right now?
Quite possibly the best Middle Eastern food I’ve had, and I’m from New York, where there are a lot of Middle Eastern restaurants. The selections were very different than the usual fare and prepared deliciously. Good service too.
Went on a Saturday at 6:30. Were seated right away. Waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable. Food was out pretty quickly a d was delicious. Would definitely go again!
We scouted restaurants prior to arrival in Cleveland. We like ethnic foods and this place did not disappoint. A titillating experience for certain. Cleveland entertains you in the restaurant category. We had the Baba, cauliflower and the sojouke?(lamb anf beef) worthy of your business. Enjoy@
Delicious Lebanese food. Tried Lebanese beer—very good.
Excellent food and service. Not too expensive.
Taza is a comfortable place with terrific food. Being able to choose either small or large portions of most dishes is a nice touch. An easy walk from the big downtown hotels.
Our waitress was great and very helpful. Went over the menu and offered awesome suggestions.
The foods are delicious, but don't take my word for it, go ahead and experience it!
Wonderful Lebanese. We ordered the appetizer special to share and thus got to sample many delicious mezes. Followed with delicious lamb kebab cooked exactly to our liking and served with fresh grilled vegetables and pilaf. We ended with really tasty baklava. Our server was delightful and helped us with our menu choices. Even though they were also serving two large groups the night we were there, our service was prompt and personal. Definitely recommend. We visited for dinner after a full day of museum going and couldn’t have been happier.
First time to a Lebanese restaurant. What a treat. Highly recommend. Savory beef appetizer (free with purchase of a bottle of wine). The mixed grill (steak, ground beef and chicken) and lamb shish were perfectly cooked with a simply excellent seasoning blend. Mixed vegetables were equally good and plentiful.
Had a bottle of dry red Lebanese wine. A great value and excellent quality. Appreciated George’s attentive service. Went on a Wednesday, so not too busy or noisy.
My husband has commented more than once about what a wonderful meal we had at Taza. The ambience is lovely, service was great and the food was delicious.
I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Cleveland!
Great food and great service. The pace from drinks to the entree was timed perfectly. Highly recommend
Really poor service. There for an hour before we even got appetizers delivered- which came out same time as entrees pretty much. Drinks took 15-20m each round. It’s a shame cause the food was really good.
Great dinner for our first nite in Cleveland! We shared an appy platter and then a dinner platter and both were awesome, cooked perfectly and presented nicely with warm pita and dip. We tried the baklava cheesecake for our dessert because it was something we had never seen before and it was as delicious as it was unusual. Wish we lived closer to return for another nite
Wonderful meal—everything was super fresh and delicious!
It was simply Amazong
Service was great! As was the food as always. Sat outdoors for dinner and enjoyed the active city dining scene. Highly recommend.
One of the best Lebanese I’ve experienced in the US. A very pleasant surprise in Cleveland!
It was really lovely, and the servers were so nice. It was one of the fastest meals I’ve ever been served!
The food was great. We were a little disappointed to hear that everything is fried in peanut oil so that was difficult to navigate for my husband who has a peanut allergy. We really wanted the falafel since we are vegetarian but were happy to enjoy the bulgar and veggies. The ambiance is great. And I really enjoyed the mint tea. As someone who doesn't drink alcohol, I really like having a great non-alcoholic option.
I am Lebanese and I can say this is the most authentic Lebanese food I have eaten in the country. Their tabboulé is so fresh and well done. Their meat is so tender. Their appetizers made me feel back home. Overall excellent restaurant!
We love that it's easy to eat vegetarian and healthy here. Everything we ordered was flavorful, fresh, and delicious. The cauliflower app was the best. Their hummus is so smooth and rich- I have no idea how they do that, best hummus I've had. This was our second time dining here when we visit Cleveland. Will be back!
It’s was great
We stopped here on way back from Buffalo. Fresh food, well prepared and presented. Kebabs, fresh pita and fries with Zatar on them were my favorites.
I made a reservation thru open table for 945 pm. I called in to confirm the reservation. I told them I was in the way in traffic and was going ro be 10 minutes late.
I called again to inform that I was two minutes away and they told me the kitchen was closed and would not take us.
Its incredible that they take a reservation for 945 if the kitchen has ti close at 1000.
Did not disappoint again! We ate inside, live music outside was great too.
Great food. Outside dining.
Quiet Lebanese place on West 4th street. Easy to make reservations through open table. Service, food, excellent. Try the Lebanese red wine. A Mother’s Day to remember.
Went for Mother's Day. The food was great. Service was great. Definitely will return.
Great service, great atmosphere and fresh delishes Lebanese food! Would definitely come back the next time i visit Cleveland.
Our server, Jeannette, was personable, knowledgeable, and very helpful. The food was delicious and well presented.
Amazing! Highly recommend! Both the food and service was a 5 star experience!!🙌🏽🙌🏽❤️❤️
My husband and I decided to try Taza while in Cleveland for a night. We were seated immediately around 7:45pm and received our drinks within 20 minutes or so (which I didn’t have a problem with) and shortly after, we placed an order for an appetizer and our main entree. We did not receive our appetizer until 9:00pm and to make matters worse, we had to remind our waiter that we never received our main entree... at this point, we have been waiting another hour and 15 mins. I think we were forgotten about because we had to remind our waiter about the second half of our order that we placed shortly after being seated at 7:45pm. Around 9:30-9:45, we were then told that their grill was not working however, there were other parties who received their meals that included items that required to be grilled. And these parties also came in after us and left before we received our main entree. We ended up asking them to box our meal and we left. They, of course, comped our meal. I am not sure if this is an everyday occurrence but it was extremely inconvenient and frustrating.
This middle eastern spot is the best. I frequent the one in Eton Place and it was my first time to the west side restaurant. The food is incredible from the couscous to the chicken or steak dishes. The manager was too kind in trying to help me find my lost phone. The bartender was helpful and makes a strong drink and a good wine pour. It's a must try! It will be my go to when I drive across town to the West Side market.
Excellent dining experience for my wife’s birthday.
The food was amazing and our server was energetic, friendly, helpful, and entertaining. Amazing! 10/10 recommend.
