Taza - A Lebanese Grill (Downtown Cleveland)
By the same family who brought you Aladdin's Eatery!
Char-grilled marinated lamb kabob topped with tomato, onion, lettuce, pickles, turnips and tahini sauce
Sheets of filo filled with walnuts and sweetened with sugar syrup
A combination of pickled turnips, olives and wild cucumbers
Cameron was amazing server and the food was great!
Amazing place, recommended! Waitress are friendly and helpful at the tine to choose if you have no idea what to eat!
I hadn't been to Taza in quite a while. What a treat! Food and service was excellent. My party of 4 all ordered different things and all were highly satisfied. Looking forward to my next outing there!
Best service in have had in my life. Thank you Tammy.
Great authentic Lebanese food.
The food, whether downtown or at Eaton, is consistently excellent.
The service was fantastic. Our server checked right off to see if we were in a lunch hurry, or had more time.
Our meals were generous portions, nicely presented, and tasted great.
We'll be back.
I highly recommend this restaurant. We had a lovely family dinner there prior to a concert at Jacobs Pavilion. The three of us shared the Taste of Taza appetizer, which was a nice selection of popular dishes, all freshly prepared and delicious. We then shared a large Lamb Kabob and an extra order of baba ganoush, one of our favorites from the sampler. The lamb had a nice char, yet was juicy and delicious. Everything was served with a selection of flat pitas and small round Lebanese bread that was fresh from the oven. We also tried Lebanese beer and wine, and were happy with those choices. Service was attentive and friendly without being intrusive. The restaurant was nicely decorated. The whole experience was lovely.
We ordered appetizers and two different kebabs, lamb and steak. All were tasty. The rice pilaf was fragrant and flavorful. Bread and dipping oil were great too.
Authentic Lebanese food, from a Lebanese chef. We loaded up on a lot of appetizers before the main course. A feast not forgotten. Everything was wonderful. Don't miss this restaurant.

Was in town for an event and selected Taza by happy chance. The food and the service was outstanding. Such a great experience for the four of us. Kudos to our server Janit for her friendly service!
The food at this wonderful restaurant was fresh and so tasty. The service was terrific. There were excellent appetizers and the dinners were authentic and plentiful. We loved it so much that we went back the next night and ordered different things, with which we were also happy. Highly recommend visiting this restaurant. Thanks for such a great experience.
Great food and service was awesome. Would definitely go back.
Great option for middle eastern fare in a charming atmosphere. We ordered a sampling of appetizers to enjoy all the great tastes. The fresh pita bread kept coming for the meal. Service was very prompt, attentive and delightful.
What a great experience. Our server was knowledgeable, personable and very efficient. The food was fresh and delicious. Service was excellent. Even though we didn't need anything more, it's always appreciated when a server comes back to do a "quality check" after you get your food. The portions were generous. I had ordered a half-size main course and still couldn't finish it all. This was our first visit to Taza, and although we don't live in Cleveland, we'll definitely eat here again when we come back.
Excellent food and service in a beautiful dining room at very reasonable prices. Highly recommend.
Appreciated opportunity to sit outside. Amazing food served quickly by friendly and knowledgeable server.
Even though it rained after we were already there, (and we were outside), we didn’t get wet. Food was excellent and so was the service.
Delicious food and wine. Great Service.
Went for a date night on a Saturday in August 2021. Food is amazing, truly a Cleveland gem. Service was great and we enjoyed our evening.
Outstanding food ,service and ambiance as always! Got outside table after rainfall... beautiful rainbow over city:)
Delicious meal: tour of Lebanon veg. app, chicken kabobs, Taza chicken salad, Cod entree, Lebanon red blend and rose wines.... Scrumptious!!
The service from the kitchen was very slow but the waitstaff were extremely nice! Luckily we weren’t in a hurry.
We were all so disappointed in the puffy pitas. They were slightly puffy but very dense—not puffy and airy like they were pre-covid. Please go back to those! That’s one of the main reasons we come to Taza’s!
Very tasty food, reasonably priced. Can be in or outside. Friendly wAitress
Even though it became obvious towards the end of our meal that they were short staffed, the food ambience and most of service was really good.
The food here is outstanding. That is something even in only one visit as a visitor to Cleveland, I think one can expect - authentic, tasty and good portions. The service and pacing of the meal - terrible. Our very large appetizer came out, and then within three minutes came our entrees, this after waiting over 20 minutes for the appetizer plate. (We wanted to order app first then once delivered, the meal, and we were encouraged not to do that for fear our entrees would get behind other groups.) And all of this on a two-top table. Service from the bar was also slack. And then a big unruly group was permitted to boisterously overpower our ability to even converse - maybe not seat a table of two next to a 10-top who are loud and up-and-about?
The food however, was amazing.
The food was delicious even if it did not come out in the correct order. On a Saturday night they seemed short-staffed, but what restaurant isn't right now?
Quite possibly the best Middle Eastern food I’ve had, and I’m from New York, where there are a lot of Middle Eastern restaurants. The selections were very different than the usual fare and prepared deliciously. Good service too.
Went on a Saturday at 6:30. Were seated right away. Waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable. Food was out pretty quickly a d was delicious. Would definitely go again!
We scouted restaurants prior to arrival in Cleveland. We like ethnic foods and this place did not disappoint. A titillating experience for certain. Cleveland entertains you in the restaurant category. We had the Baba, cauliflower and the sojouke?(lamb anf beef) worthy of your business. Enjoy@
Delicious Lebanese food. Tried Lebanese beer—very good.
Excellent food and service. Not too expensive.
Taza is a comfortable place with terrific food. Being able to choose either small or large portions of most dishes is a nice touch. An easy walk from the big downtown hotels.
Our waitress was great and very helpful. Went over the menu and offered awesome suggestions.
The foods are delicious, but don't take my word for it, go ahead and experience it!
Wonderful Lebanese. We ordered the appetizer special to share and thus got to sample many delicious mezes. Followed with delicious lamb kebab cooked exactly to our liking and served with fresh grilled vegetables and pilaf. We ended with really tasty baklava. Our server was delightful and helped us with our menu choices. Even though they were also serving two large groups the night we were there, our service was prompt and personal. Definitely recommend. We visited for dinner after a full day of museum going and couldn’t have been happier.
First time to a Lebanese restaurant. What a treat. Highly recommend. Savory beef appetizer (free with purchase of a bottle of wine). The mixed grill (steak, ground beef and chicken) and lamb shish were perfectly cooked with a simply excellent seasoning blend. Mixed vegetables were equally good and plentiful.
Had a bottle of dry red Lebanese wine. A great value and excellent quality. Appreciated George’s attentive service. Went on a Wednesday, so not too busy or noisy.
My husband has commented more than once about what a wonderful meal we had at Taza. The ambience is lovely, service was great and the food was delicious.
I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Cleveland!
Great food and great service. The pace from drinks to the entree was timed perfectly. Highly recommend
Really poor service. There for an hour before we even got appetizers delivered- which came out same time as entrees pretty much. Drinks took 15-20m each round. It’s a shame cause the food was really good.
Great dinner for our first nite in Cleveland! We shared an appy platter and then a dinner platter and both were awesome, cooked perfectly and presented nicely with warm pita and dip. We tried the baklava cheesecake for our dessert because it was something we had never seen before and it was as delicious as it was unusual. Wish we lived closer to return for another nite
