   In a word, "exemplary". We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of the meal. From the wine list to the entrees and the sides. Everything was fantastic

   The food was excellent. Some of the best grouper I’ve had. The tataki is a must.

   I had a great time at Tavern N’ Town! I’m solo traveling to Key West and wanted a more upscale experience, and this delivered. The atmosphere is super inviting, very modern and dimly lit - supported by lights at your table. I had the French onion soup and a Caesar salad to start, and both were excellent. The soup in particular was wonderful: very cheesy and flavorful. For my main I had the prime rib, and it was a TREAT. I’ve never had prime rib that was treated like an individual steak before, but this one came out charred and seasoned on both sides, like a ribeye would. The horseradish sauce was creamy and not overpowering, and the potatoes were whipped super nicely. The staff at the restaurant is extraordinarily friendly and accommodating. Special thanks to the very nice lady who hand-wrote me some recommendations for the remainder of my stay in Key West.

   I cannot think of a better way to spend my birthday than here.  I am already looking forward to our next evening here. The food and service were exceptional.

   We had hoped for a 7pm reservation but were told none were available, which was surprising given that when we arrived at 8pm, there were plenty of empty tables. Perhaps it was due to the size of our party (9 people), but it would’ve been helpful if that had been communicated clearly. Our server started off attentive and friendly for the first 15–20 minutes, but after that, we rarely saw them. It took nearly an hour for our food to arrive—even though the restaurant was far from busy by 9pm—and some dishes unfortunately came out cold. One of our orders, a large meatball dish, was questioned by the kitchen, but no one ever confirmed whether it could be made or not… it just showed up, which left us confused until it arrived. Drink refills were slow, and the service overall felt inconsistent. The prime rib was a standout—exceptional, according to those who ordered it—but it wasn’t enough to make up for the lackluster experience. For the prices being charged, the service and overall attentiveness really fell short. Also worth noting: for a place that presents itself as upscale, we were surprised by how limited the gluten-free options were—especially compared to other restaurants in Key West. In the end, while a few dishes impressed, the overall experience didn’t match expectations.

   A server did not approach our table we had to get up and ask a server how the Easter brunch worked. The server brought us s drink but never refilled our drinks or asked if we wanted anything else. When it was time to leave we had to go find the server to ask for our check. I had to go get a drink (decaf coffee) at the bar when I left because my server did not do their job.

    Very nice ambiance! The decor is great, the piano player by the bar was classy. We got the wygu burgers and they were fantastic! The martinis were good too. Friendly staff and a cool open kitchen. We would definitely dine here again.
