Outstanding! Waffles are authentic Belgian. Service is friendly and efficient. I cannot recommend this place enough!
Loved the food. Loud music in the cars was annoying. Service was very good.
We got some pretzels for an appetizer. They were delicious but definitely needed cheese, mustard, etc., but we were trying to select something that wasn't too fattening and avoided the cheese that came with it. My husband got the ToB Breakfast plate, for dinner, which included 2 fried eggs, goetta, and a biscuit. He said that all of it was good but just basic. He wishes he had ordered something else, but nothing was wrong with it. I got the grilled chicken sandwich, and it was outstanding. The bun was especially good, it had plenty of delicious, melted gouda, lettuce, tomato, and aioli. The aioli was really good. I also got a side salad that was excellent. It had a great mix of greens, onions, carrots, cucumbers, tomatoes, and a perfect amount of delicious red wine vinaigrette. The service was excellent, and we loved sitting outside. All of the food around us looked great, and we look forward to splurging on some more exciting menu items in the future.
Good bier selection and specials in both draft beers and specialty food night (Wednesday for burgers). Alissa was our Server and she did a great job including giving us ample time to review the drink and food menus. Didn;t feel pressed to leave either.
Brunch outside on beautiful morning before a Reds game. Introduced out of town friends to goetta and they loved it. Bloody Mary’s and Mimosa’s were good and group enjoyed lunch. Umbrella had a problem but our server worked to fix it.
Spectacular every time. Get the chicken and waffles- life changing!
Tried Taste of Belgium while visiting Cincinnati because it is local and gets great reviews. They lived up to the hype and we would certainly eat here again.
The food at Taste of Belgium is always wonderfully delicious! I was so happy to be able to go back to eating in this location.
We have been to this location several times.Food and service was great as always and I would have given a higher overall rating however it was ungodly hot in the back of the restaurant where we were sitting. We wanted to stay longer to chat but we were too uncomfortable. When you go sit towards the front or even outside.
Our waitress was amazing! The food was delicious! And of course, the waffles were amazing. We even ordered extras to take home.
45 minute wait for coffee. Food that should have been hot was cold, food that was supposed to be cold was warm. Desert waffle was fantastic however and the server was doing her best.
Had the McWalffle and it was so good! Really enjoyed sitting outside too. Good regular coffee but friends had the mimosas and they really liked them.
Food was super tasty. I got the frites/dips, chicken & waffles, acer chai latte. Everything was delicious. My only negative was that the waffle was a bit hard/dense to chew through. But that Acer latte was addictive!
The BEST chicken & waffles, I always stop when in Cincinnati.
Great food, great service. Will come back again! Love the chicken and waffles.
The food and service was outstanding considering how busy they were right before a FC Cincinnati match. Easy walk to TQL stadium.
Knowledgeable servers had the veggie galette And a Belgium 101 flight and my wife(chocoholic) had a side salad and the chocolate dome tort. Sat outside on vine before the FC game. Great time
Being a first experience, I expected a higher standard of service. It took about 45 minutes to get the Tofu Hash and a burger with fries (which was room temp, upon arrival). I will try it again, as I know service is a bit strained right now, everywhere. ‘Nice place, and cool menu options however, are noted.
Food was EXCELLENT. So yummy. Wish there was a location near us (providence if your interested in expanding) :)
We went to this small local chain for breakfast and loved the cozy cafe vibe, in the OTR neighborhood, along with the yummy food! I tried the waffles with lemon curd with a side of amazing bacon, and was loved the whole meal! The server was friendly and helpful too, despite being slammed with several tables at once.
Overall we had a good time. Service was good but kitchen was the opposite.
Multiple items we ordered from the menu were out.
The steak i ordered medium rare came well well well done. Screwed up the whole dinner. I ate my sides but the brussel sprouts were soaked in oil and not eatable. Mac and cheese were not eatable.
This is a place for breakfast, brunch or a drink and some fries (frites and dips are great!!!).
You really can’t go wrong with ToB, in its original location. There’s been frustrating experiences some times when they’re out early out of certain things (like mussels), but that’s the price to pay for fresh ingredients.
Amazing beer selection… love this place!
A-maz-ing!! Such a cute restaurant, delicious food (like so good I can't even describe it in words), and great service. Plus they offer goodies to take home! I would go here every day if I lived in Cincy. 20/10, highly recommend.
Plenty of staff walking around but the service was slow.
Had reservation, table and service was ready when we arrived. Super friendly and kind. Food arrived timely and was delicious. Waffles are different from what I thought a Belgium waffle was. I LOVED them. Would recommend to anyone visiting the city.
Food and service was great. It was a great place to take our friends that were in from out of town!
We love this place. The waffles are excellent, and if you're a fan of chicken and waffles I can't recommend theirs enough. We went at 9am on a Saturday, and were able to easily get a table.
Food was good and service was great. Portions were very small and not completely filling in my opinion and we were sat outside with a big truck unloading their stuff so we didn't get a good view and was VERY noisy but thats not their fault necessarily.
Low rating because we were seated in a building adjacent to the main building.
Horrible service and food. Staff with little knowledge of menu. Bogus pricing on AYCE mussels when we only had one portion. Bad hygiene. Bad frites. We lived in Belgium for 13 years and were excited to try Taste of....tremendously disappointed. Cannot recommend to anybody.
I had a very simple breakfast: waffle & sausage. Neither were served hot. The sausage was sent back to be warmed and when it finally returned my waffle was half eaten and all cold. The butter & syrup was delivered after the food. Coffee wasn't forth coming and once we paid, we were completing ignored.
Great quick service, outside dining was relaxing and comfortable! The craft beers were awesome and highly recommend the chicken, biscuit and gravy meal, never had before but was great!
Great food, service, and atmosphere for brunch or dinner
So many unique flavors and foods, great drinks, outstanding coffee, delightful service. This is one of the restaurants that makes Cincinnati such a fun place to spend time.
Service was slow and server didn't come back to check if we needed anything until it was too late/we were done. I know the pandemic has been tough on food and bev, but they appeared to have plenty of servers...We just didn't get very good service.
This was the perfect brunch after a late night wedding the night before. Everything from the delicious foods (we had such a hard time choosing) to the chill but just lively enough atmosphere was perfect. To top it off service was friendly and efficient. We didn’t know what to expect, especially since this is a chain, but we were blown away. Best brunch in a long long time. If we lived here we would be regulars!
Im shocked at our experience. Not only were they not busy it Took 15 min to be seated " in the bar" when we had a reservation for a nice table because it was mothers day as well as my bday. After the person seating us wiped the table and left it soaking wet it Took 15 min or more to have anyone acknowledge we were there and get our drinks. After the waitress spilled a large OJ on my sons lap and was not much help at cleaning it up we waited 30 min for waffles that were room temp served with no utensils, no napkins, and had to ask for syrup which came out cold. Really poor management, service and food.
Awesome brunch spot. The omellete was perfect, and the frites (like fries) were out of this world. Love it.
