Subpar service. Busy night. Server was inattentive. Did not want to provide coffee and tea refills. “Forgot” to put in our order for chocolate soufflé. Finally came out when we requested the check. We were tired of sitting around waiting for dessert when we ordered it at the beginning of dinner with our drinks.

We went with our son and daughter in law to celebrate our anniversary. We were able to sit at the table Walt Disney frequented during his life. The waiter was wonderful, and the food was great. We got complimentary desserts for our anniversary and our son's birthday. Fun place!

Wifey and I took a couple from the UK to dinner, who remarked at how very UK the menu was. they loved the beef and horseradish as wonderfully authentic and delightful. The experience was memorable.

We are big fans of prime rib and love Lawrys restaurants. We have been here before and have had a good meal. This visit surely missed the mark. We ate on Monday night, and it was very busy. It took 1/2 hour to seat us, with our reservation. Our waitress came over and was very nice. She took our order and drinks arrived. It was down hill from there! The prime rib was very tough--we had to cut my mother-in-laws food as it was so difficult for her to eat (she ended up not eating). It was not acceptable--but we never saw the waitress again to return or comment. We were unable to order more beverages. We had not ordered appetizers, anticipating we would get dessert. We waited and waited after we ate our entress(those of us who could) and finally asked the young man serving water to bring us dessert menus---20 minutes later--as no one acknowledged us sitting there with our dessert menus--we asked the same water server to get our check--even that took time to take care of!!! We arrived at 7pm--and left at 9:15--only having an entrée and drinks. This was a terrible experience as we hoped to celebrate a birthday with desserts. Food and service were both terrible. It was not acceptable. We will not be back.

My husband has worked for The Walt Disney Company for over 30 years, and since this was a favorite hangout for Mr Disney and his creative team, we love the history attached to Tam O’Shanter. The food never disappoints, either...especially the prime rib! We absolutely love this place and we always recommend it highly!

Took about 5-10 minutes to be seated despite a reservation when it was not that busy. Waiter forgot to put dressing on the side. Overall a positive experience.

Late Valentines and family dinner.

The most recent experience was good but I feel as though the quality of service is trending downward. This last experience was expected but Brendan could have been more available. Perhaps they were short staff that evening but we had to wait longer seemingly for things to happen. Now prior to the most recent visit, we had invited a few more friends to the party so it was around 10 of us. Our server was a little on the rude and inattentive side but again i took it as they are busy. The server was a little annoyed when my wife asked if the kids meal can be ordered by adults. It was a joke but it seemed the server was annoyed by it. My family has enjoyed Tam’s for over two decades since I was dating and now with kids and aging parents it’s a place we go to often. However if the service is compromised and the food quality is the only thing that stands, then I may be looking elsewhere to enjoy prime rib and chocolate soufflé with the family. I hope that is not the case since we’ve just became gold vip members. We love Tam’s but hoping service will pick up.

Food was bad, no flavor and when it was brought to the table everything looked the same color. We were rushed from the moment we walked in to the time they cleared the table. I can't believe it is in the same family as Lawrys.

This has always been a favorite of ours and for good reason. It's fool proof -- perfect. Even if you don't order the prime rib, everything else is more than satisfying too.

This was a return visit after many years. My husband is of Scottish heritage and enjoys haggis and other foods I'd never cook. While we enjoyed our dinner, I found our waitress a bit overbearing. She pushed side dishes, appetizers, desserts and the like to the point of annoying. She also wanted to take our order as she served our cocktails. We deliberately made early reservations - 6 p.m. on a Friday night - so that the restaurant would not be busy, noisy or crowded. It wasn't when we arrived and it wasn't when we left, close to two hours later. I had the feeling we had to fight for our relaxation, as if the restaurant had a line of people waiting for our table. In spite of these comments we look forward to returning. We ordered rarebit and everyone at the table liked it. My prime rib and creamed spinach were very good. The mashed potatoes??? We had trifle, which I thought was ordinary, having had it many, many times over the years. Since it was my husband's birthday, he was given a complimentary small trifle with a candle. We did choose a satisfying Bordeaux - in the $70 range.
