Yesterday, we had the pleasure of dining at the Tam O'Shanter restaurant, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a charming ambiance that set the tone for the evening. We decided to indulge in the New York and filet mignon steaks, and they were nothing short of spectacular. The New York steak was cooked to perfection, with a delightful char on the outside and a juicy, tender interior that melted in the mouth. The filet mignon was equally impressive, boasting a buttery texture and rich flavor that left us savoring every bite. The service was impeccable throughout the evening. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and ensured that our glasses were never empty. It was my first time at the speakeasy. We loved everything except for the two groups who talked through the first set. Thank goodness they were quiet for the guest singer in the second set. She was fabulous!

The manager came to our table and rudely asked us to leave. She said we can’t just walk in and sit down We explained that we had a reservation, checked in with the front and they sat us here. Then she stormed off and never returned to apologize. Will not be coming back.

Terrific dinner at Tam O’Shanter to celebrate a graduation event. Just a great traditional steakhouse that lived up to its 100+ years in LA. We sat outside on the patio, which was delightful. The appetizers were great and the steaks & prime rib were top notch. Loved the popovers too. Would absolutely come back…highly recommended!
