Food was absolutely amazing
Limited cheese selection and the risotto was too lemony. Scallops and shrimp were excellent tho. Great drinks.
A very poor choice. Overpriced, limited menu. Toast was regular white bread like wonder bread. Never returning.
Always a pleasure to eat at Talula’s as the food is always fantastic and the ambience is incredible. However, the last time I visited, the server was very pushy and rushing us through our dining experience. Hopefully the next time, this will not be the case.
It was once again a magical night at this restaurant. My boyfriend and I were celebrating our first anniversary, and the restaurant after the meal brought us a complimentary dessert. It was as delicious as the meal we had. Music was on a moderate label that we could talk to each other without raising our voices. Service is impeccable.
Beautiful garden and amazing food. One of the best meals I’ve had on a long time!!
Delicious fresh food and drinks! Quiet ambiance in the heart of Philly.
My first time here and was thoroughly delighted. My husband and I, as well as the couple we were with, were celebrating our 15th wedding anniversaries (we were married 2 weeks apart from the other) and the restaurant staff made our celebration very special. We ate in the garden area which was beautiful and charming. The food was spectacular and the service was second to none. Our waiter (Joseph) was friendly, knew the menu well, happy to provide recommendations and made our visit perfect. Highly recommend Talula's Garden and look very forward to a return visit.
Used to be my favorite restaurant in Philadelphia, but it seems to be losing something in the kitchen and with the menu. They feel like they’re trying a little too hard. I hope they get their mojo back!!
Vacation. Our waitress Christina was amazing and so was Chris.loved it!!
Wonderful food and atmosphere. Innovative and delicious food.
Talula's Garden continues to be a consistent 5 out of 5 in all regards....food, ambiance, service....EVERYTHING! The beautiful, inviting garden transports you to a magical, twinkling-lit-heaven while you enjoy incredible cuisine at its best. We enjoyed the amazing fried chicken and scallop/shrimp entrees with the house salad, having generous bits of strawberries and crunchy almonds scattered in the perfectly dressed greens(certainly enough to share on it's own) and the to-die-for mushroom pie to start.....pardon me for a min. while I raid the fridge for the leftovers now. Mmmmmm....so good!
Birthday dinner with the girls and we had the absolute best time. Our server Josh was particularly amazing! Can’t wait to get back here!
Food was very creative and well presented. Portions are not overly generous but everything was delicious. The burrata appetizer was especially good, would be nice to have 2 pieces of bread included with this appetizer. The Agnolotti and Salmon were also tasty. Wine selection by the glass wasn't extensive and pricey. Overall good food, but not inexpensive. Noise level (inside seating) made it somewhat hard to carry on a conversation, I think because of so much concrete, wood/metal and not much to soften the noise. An outside table wasn't available but it looked very nice.
Great ambiance, delicious food, and attentive waitstaff! Highly recommend this spot and would be great for any occasion (work dinner, date night, family dinner, etc.). The "Talula’s Fried Chicken Dinner" was excellent and didn't feel too heavy - I would absolutely order it again (though the menu is very interesting and changes often so I could easily be lured into trying something new as well). The drinks were great, the cheese platter is fantastic and fun to try, and the desserts were innovative and tasty (tried the "Key Lime Soufflé Cake" and a warm fruit crisp (it had a basil ice cream on top which was fun)). Excellent spot in Philadelphia!!
We had a wonderful meal here recently. The staff was very professional and personable. The garden was a lovely setting. But, best of all was the food! Nice menu choices and excellently prepared food. So thoughtfully done.
I can't praise this restaurant enough!
Beautiful evening in the garden.
Delicious food and excellent service!
Always a delight.
Awesome food and staff went above a beyond. Thanks for accomodating my special request.
My partner and I went for our anniversary and it could not have been more romantic! The service was incredible and the food was out of this world! 10/10 would recommend for any special occasion!
Just ate the best fried chicken I have had in my life (sorry, Mom!) at Talula's Garden. Service was helpful and unobtrusive, gave useful wine advice. Setting outdoors is comfortable, polished, a bit Edenic under a fruit-laden fig tree. Highly recommended.
We could dine at Talula's Garden every week and probably not tire of it. The outdoor pods are the best--quiet, comfortable and safe. We always seem to order some of our favorites--tuna crudo, burrata; seafood entrees. And a creative cocktail. And amazing how busy it was at 6 pm on a Tuesday night. Great following.
Terrific ambiance, wonderful food and top notch service.
It was fantastic!
Everything about this beautiful meal was perfect.
Food was delicious, atmosphere great, service good. Wine was $70 but $13.99 on Vivino so not happy about that. I would hope for a more expensive bottle at Talulahs, especially marked up $70. Not something I normally check but liked it so took a pic. Yikes. Have a drink instead.
Beautiful night on the patio made perfect with exceptional service and incredible flavors! Don’t miss the biscuits to start! We also enjoyed the peaches and burrata. Our table of four loved every entree we ordered - the fried chicken, the lemon risotto with shrimp and scallops, and the branzino. Save room for dessert (the toffee zucchini cake) or another cocktail! Talula’s Garden is a treasure. ❤️
The biscuits were awesome. The tomato soup and cornbread not so much. Both tasted premade not fresh or distinct in flavor. My husband had grilled fish that was served with plain slices of orange. He said it was an odd flavor mix. He didn't enjoy it. The garden salad with baked goat cheese and strawberry vinaigrette was good. The table next to us was especially loud. We couldn't hear our own conversation. I read the reviews on this restaurant and it appears many people really enjoy it. Maybe we showed up on an off night...
Great food and atmosphere- my favorite place to go when I visit Philly
Great service excellent food going back next weekend
We had a wonderful experience at Talula’s. The food was outstanding! Can’t wait to go again.
Good food, good service, good ambience. Will keep coming back
Enjoyed a wonderful dinner. Cocktails and appetizers were excellent. The portions were large. Beautiful location and music perfect for having conversation.
One of the best restaurants on the east coast. Every dish is crafted from flavors that wow and deliver fantastic taste.
Award winning food, service and atmosphere. Will return again and again!
Beautiful restaurant, amazing food, fantastic service. All around, great experience. Definitely a great spot for celebrations!
Excellent dinner - Talulas never disappoints. Fantastic service. Cheese plates are always a must. Great cocktails. Generous portion sizes (that goes for apps too).
Food was great. Drinks was blah, I am not a fan of spicy in my drinks and it was an over kill. Waitress was super nice.
