    We chose Talula’s Garden for a very special anniversary dinner and, overall, it was a wonderful experience. After reading countless reviews, we had high expectations, and while it didn’t quite hit “outstanding,” it was definitely memorable. We arrived on time and asked if we could sit outside (even though our reservation was for inside), and the staff graciously accommodated us—a great start to the night. The outdoor space is beautiful and highly recommended, especially on a perfect evening. Our server, Brian, was friendly and professional. He mentioned he’s fairly new, but you’d never know it from his knowledge and demeanor. The only challenge was that as the night got busier, he seemed to be handling a lot of tables outside. Service slowed a bit toward the end—nothing major, but we did have to flag him for the check. As for the food: the biscuits and Thai cucumbers were excellent starters. My wife had the scallops and shrimp, and I ordered the salmon. Both dishes were very good—flavors were on point (even if my salmon wasn’t the best I’ve ever had). All in all, Talula’s delivered a lovely evening and made our 30th anniversary dinner feel special. We’d definitely recommend it, especially if you can snag an outdoor table on a nice night.

    All of the staff were great. The outdoor dining area was really lovely, and I liked how it was cozy it was and covered. You didn’t see the street area at all from where we sat. Everyone loved what they ordered. It was a perfect meal for a summer evening
