Excellent Service. Please try the fig pizza it's divine!
Every experience is exceptional! Food, Service always perfect... We would like a better wine list by the bottle that’s all we could say!
Always excellent. Locally sourced ingredients and hand crafted cocktail. Great service.
Our neighborhood gem. Service is always OFF the CHARTS! All the way from the hostess staff...to the servers, bartenders and support staff...We always feel so well taken care of. The food is superior...Farm to table freshness at its finest. The menu is very well thought out... The only reason I took a star away from value was because the Charcuterie tray (which we love) is just very small...Wish you offered 2 different levels (for 2 or 4 people) and made it a slightly better value. Currently at $25 it should be shared for 4 but it's not enough for 4...that is my 2 cents! Thank you, Talulas Garden (and Daily) for making Washington Square a wonderful destination to live and visit!
Delcious food beautiful outdoor space amazing service. A nice night out.
Socially distant and great food.
Incredible food, great service, felt very safe during COVID.
Peter, our waiter was professional, and helpful in providing insights into best choices for us. This balmy night was perfect for outdoor dining and celebrating our anniversary. We often celebrate at Talula’s for our anniversary as our son and daughter-in-law’s is 3 days after ours . We always share the cheese plate and it never disappoints. We were fortunate with the weather and grateful to see the social distancing all around us.
It was, as always, a wonderful dinner. The garden couldn’t be more magical, and I can see that they’re prepared with heaters to have outdoor dining well into the Fall season (possibly even Winter).
The waitstaff is outstanding, the food is impeccable. It’s one of our favorite restaurants, so of course we chose it for a special birthday dinner with friends.
Always a great experience when dining here. The food and service were as usual on point and the garden dining was lovely.
I am always a fan of the brunch menu because they have a fantastic, reasonably priced brunch.
However, when it comes to their dinner, which I’ve only gone to this one time making a reservation on OpenTable.
I feel like for the value— And I’ve dined at the Versace Mansion in Miami for the same price, an amazing ambience, food was so memorable, and they even played music to you AND showed us a private room in the Mansion for the same price I dined here, I felt like the food was OK and the experience was so-so. It was a one and done.
I may come back for their Brunch again but it’s a long shot for dinner.
Always amazing! My wife and I love to go to Talula's to celebrate special occasions.
The restaurant is beautiful. The service was amazing. Most importantly the food was delicious! Definitely a must for anyone looking to get the best out of Philly!
I had hoped for better. My mom has been wanting to go to Talula’s Garden for years so when she was coming into the city to visit for the day, I decided to make a 1pm reservation. We arrived at 12:55 and were told they were running a little late and would sit us shortly. 20 minutes later, I asked how much longer and told we were next. I then proceeded to watch 3 other parties of 2 be sat before we were. We were sat 30 minutes after our reservation and not a single person of the three people we interacted with apologized for the wait. We were then sat at the last seat on the side walk. I felt bad for my mother who had really wanted to go here to sit in the garden and here we were barely even at the restaurant at all. We ordered a few things, including the “Summer Fruit Bowl $14
stone fruit, berries, melon, whipped lemon yogurt and crunchy granola”. Well they must have ran out of the ingredients because what we were served was a bowl of watermelon, unripe cantaloupe, a few pieces of unripe pineapple and some red and green grapes. It was like the cheap fruit salads you throw away. I felt ripped off for paying $14 for cheap, unripe fruit that was not advertised as what we were ordering. Overall disappointing.
We came with friends for a birthday
Brunch was wonderful in everyway
Went for brunch on Sunday; with reservation, we got a table quickly, outside per our request. All service was polite and professional, and the food was fantastic! Would definitely recommend and go again when in the city.
Great food and felt safe dinning indoors - plenty of spacd between tables and server appropriately masked.
Every morsel is delicious. Silver lining in a gray world.
Talula's Garden was a recomendation for a birtday dinner, food was fabulous, nice outdoor setting and overall highly recomend.
Great dinner as always
All was excellent and expensive.
The outdoor garden setting was beautiful. The food was excellent and the drinks were very good. All of the staff followed COVID precautions. I would definitely go back!
Hands down the best brunch and best service I’ve ever had. We started off with the fruit bowl which was amazing. The yogurt and granola on top was delish. I had the farmers breakfast that had the most fluffy eggs and crispy bacon. Also tried the French toast and the pancakes. WOW
Love Talula’s. No fail, always great food, service, ambiance. Fresh seasonal food prepared perfectly. Love the garden.
Seems like the food has gone down hill
Talula's is doing a great job with Covid precautions and has made sidewalk dining quite inviting (although the garden is the best). Well spaced tables. Always excellent food and our server, Tim, was super. My dining partner has a lot of dietary restrictions, but he was so helpful and accommodating (as was chef) to make sure everything was safe and delicious and nice about it! Didn't rush us out even though there is a 90 min limit to dining. Delightful evening!
Surprisingly good. The salads and the salmon were outstanding, as was the service. The disappointing part was the loud and atrocious music.
Really enjoy dining here. The food is always good and the service is fine, although people should stop asking "How are WE enjoying everything." The fried chicken is excellent, as was the mushroom risotto. Looking forward to a return visit, soon.
We had a lovely evening in the beautiful garden. Tables were well spaced, the service and food wonderful.
What prevented me from giving this an excellent rating was poor communication
I received a call confirming our reservation going over COVID safety issues
I specifically stated we were to sit outside
When we arrived for this special occasion we were informed we were to be seated inside
Why would I specify something that was not honored
We were temporarily seated at a less than perfect location
Then we got a nice table
My other issue is the menu hasn’t changed since outside seating started
So this was the 4 th time with exact same menu
We are returning for brunch Sunday for another special occasion
I specified outside before we left
Here is hoping
One of the best restaurants in the city! Would highly recommend, have never had a bad meal.
It was a beautiful environment, and my first inside dining experience in Philly since quarantine. Truly impressive menu, presentation, and the day-of specialty cocktail was amazing.
Excellent service and phenomenal food! A+++
Everything was perfect (food, drinks, ambience & most of the service) except, we went for brunch & asked for apps to come out first, before entrees. Server advised we had to order all at once but assured entrees would come AFTER apps were done. Apps came in timely manner, followed immediately by entrees. Seriously dislike when this happens. Also, I asked for birthday candle in dessert for friend’s bday and this was either ignored or forgotten. Bottomline, it’s a lovely restaurant w/delish & creative food & cocktails that I would highly recommend & go to again. We all get to have a less than stellar day.
I love it...Talula's is my daughter and my favorite restaurant for brunch...thank you
Great food, beautiful atmosphere! Definitely worth it!
Great food but could use heaters
We did not have a great experience at Talula’s Garden. I think we were the exception though. We ordered an app that was on the special list that was lukewarm when it arrived. And then it took 35 minutes for someone to come over after our app to tell us the soups got lost in the kitchen but they were on the way.
We finally got our soup, which was actually delicious and the best thing we ate. And the restaurant provided us with a salad for the inconvenience of the wait.
Initially service was not great, but then a manager came over and tried his very best to rectify the situation and turn our evening around. Things happen especially during these times. We will give it another chance!
