   We ate here 3 times in one week as we passed through Golden to Steamboat and back. Excellent each time. 2 dinners and 1 breakfast. The trout and the half chicken were to die for. Breakfast blue corn pancakes and pine nuts was a nice change from the usual sickly-sweet breakfast. So so so yummy. Husband and I agree this was a few of the best meals we’ve had in years. They don’t seem to have the post-COVID hiring woes that many places do. Great service. Recommend reservation.

   Most menu items include cheese, crema, or sour cream. Wanted tamale, but server guided me to fajitas which could be served dairy free. Partner found the chile reanello tasty but a bit cold.....not quite long enough in the fryer. The chicken fajitas were good. Enjoyed the red sangria. Crowded when we arrived at 5:45 on a Saturday, but crowd cleared out by 7pm.

    Brunch for seven. Excellent, friendly, helpful without being obnoxious server. Tasty meals, not your ordinary breakfast fare....crab benedict, for example. Should be a go to place for breakfast in Golden, they do it right.

    The food and service here was amazing! We had a wonderful server who was friendly, efficient, knowledgeable, and quick to help. The food also tasted fantastic. We tried their arepitas, butternut squash soup, and shrimp fajitas. As well as their margaritas. Fantastic! Cannot be the price for the quality of the food and service. Cute, cozy, navajo ambience as well.

    The service and food at this interesting hotel and restaurant were superb. We've had breakfast here before and the menu choices were always interesting and the food never disappointed. Dinner was even more impressive. The atmosphere was a warm southwestern and the service was exceptional.

    We absolutely love the trout here. Best in the city. We’ve eaten it many times in the past eight years. The preparation changes every so often. Last night it was over a broccolini roasted mushroom stew with chickpeas and a chimichura sauce. Delicious and inventive! But if I’m being totally honest when they used to serve it with garlic mashed and sautéed spinach, with a little tartar on the side; that will always be my favorite!

    First time in for breakfast, and won’t be our last. Biscuits and gravy were amazing, enough for 2! Crispy bacon was perfect. Great service! Blackberry jam was the icing on the cake!

    Food was portioned ok, the barbacoa enchiladas lacked flavor to go with the rest of the dish, green chili was Smokey flavored, drinks were way to strong to drink, but our waiter was fantastic and made it better

    The menu was appealing to all ages and had good variety. We all enjoyed our selection; it was nice to have a choice between breakfast foods and lunch items. Our service was very good even with it being quite crowded.

    Loved the carnitas hash for brunch! Our server was friendly and efficient but we didn't feel rushed. Looking forward to another visit the next time I am in Golden!

    3rd time we have had terrible food-enchiladas were still half frozen/burrito needed a steak knife to cut the meat, bar service took forever, rellenos were so tough you needed a knife to cut thru it, they brought another enchilada which was burned on the bottom and room temp - last time same thing - room temperature entrees - back room was so crammed you could not walk thru it why do they jam all the tables together we hate that - also they made us show ID and we are all gray haired in our 70's and she said if the license was expired they would not serve us - even an expired drivers license is proof of age and we are obliviously over 60. we have gone there forever but 3 times of horrible food and service we are done

    Food was a nice mix of authentic Mexican and breakfast/brunch items. Waiter was very attentive and refilled drinks as soon as they were empty. Setting is very much like eating in a restaurant in Old Santa Fe. We all enjoyed our entrees.

    I made reservations for 2 for Christmas dinner. We arrived 5 min early but it took the hostess 2 trips and 10 minutes to get us seated. Once seated, the server was excellent and the food scrumptious and cooked just right. We had the salmon and the prime rib. Since we were celebrating a birthday, the server said we could have a free desert. It was included in the charge but was also very good. They might have been a bit short staffed for what was a full restaurant. Wonderful Christmas dinner when there aren’t very many restaurants open!
