Everything about our brunch at Market District was completely delicious. The food—both the menu items as well as those on the buffet—were superb. The variety was surprising and fun. The service was delightful. The prices were beyond fair. Our group was only sad that we live in Chicago and cannot stop by for brunch on a regular basis.
We went for brunch on Sunday wit our 3 young kids. Kids 4 & under are free, our 7 year old was $9, which was great.
The downside is my daughters & I are vegetarian and they had extremely limited options for us. Given I still had to pay $18 for a bowl of potato’s, it was a total waste of money. Even that he kids were free, they only ate biscuits and potatoes.
Totally my fault for not reviewing the buffet options ahead of time. Will definitely not be going back for brunch!
great food, friendly service, and sat by the fire as requested!
Great food for the Sunday Brunch. Good selection of breakfast, lunch and BBQ dishes on the buffet and you also get to select from the menu. All inclusive. What's not to love.
Excellent menu and service. We were there for a sedate, post-holiday meal and was not disappointed in the eclectic, foodie-friendly menu. Don't skip dessert!
table is one of my favorite restaurants. I bring my team there for lunch on a monthly basis. I'd gone to their Thanksgiving meal in 2017 and had a wonderful time. Thanksgiving 2018 was a much different story. They seemed to have packed extra tables in to increase their capacity but could not keep up with the demand. When we arrived the waiter warned us they were way behind and the food would take some time.
He directed us to the salad bar but unfortunately they were out of salad (replaced in 10 minutes or so). The carving stations from 2017 were replaced with poor quality, over cooked meats brought directly to the table. (after a 30+ minute lag due to overcrowding) The sides were cold. When the food finally arrived we were told to grab our own plates at the salad bar - of course they were out of clean plates. While these are all first world problems they are not expected for the $ we were spending. (and the fact that we had made reservations)
Went for Thanksgiving. Definitely not prepared for the crowd size. Showed up early for a reservation, but seated 15-20 minutes late. Then waitress was slammed so she was told to hold putting out food order in. Buffet required close attention becsuse many items were out at all times. Waitress was very pleasant and food was very good. Been there for dinner before always good experience. However, they definitely overbooked reservations and were understaffed this time.
I enjoyed having our family Thanksgiving meal at Table by Market District. We were seated promptly and the food was served quickly. The only thing I would change is where we were seated. We were very close to the serving bar for salads and desserts and it got a little hectic with people being right behind our table. I would definitely go back next year for our Thanksgiving meal.
Great selection of seasonal-ingredient, fresh dishes. Excellent flavor.
Great service, creative menu, personal attention and wonderful spring/summer outdoor dining with waterfall and fire pit.
Our lunch was fabulous our server Austin was the best! We will be back!
We had a midweek dinner with friends and had great food. I had the avocado toast and the very rich tomato soup. My husband had the coconut lentil soup and shrimp and grits. Our friends had the gnocchi with pork belly and a burger. We split the bread pudding (made with doughnuts and apple crisp) four ways. Everything was great, as was the service. Good value too.
Every time I have eaten here I have tried something different, and it has always be terrific.
I am always very pleased With the food and service
Good food. Quiet. Good value. Good place
Perhaps over enthusiastic server but he will learn. Did not detract.
Went for the Sunday Brunch. Great selection of Breakfast food, baked goods, Salad, and BBQ. Also able to have food cooked to order from an expansive menu all for the price of $18. Great food, great value.
Every time we come to Indianapolis we make a point to come here for dinner. The food is outstanding and the service is second to none.
Enjoyed the Sunday brunch very much. Service was excellent. Will definitely be back!
We enjoy our meals at the Table. We do have a couple of suggestions for the restaurant that may make them more successful. Not everyone wants or needs to the gluten free. We applaud your efforts to provide outstanding gluten free meals. There are a number of us who enjoy bakery items such as flatbread, bread or rolls with dinner. Please consider adding those as an option for your entrees and salads. also, please consider adding soup to your menu. A cup of soup is an excellent starter for meals.
The food was well prepared and delicious. Our waitress was delightful when we saw her, but the service was extremely slow especially with only four tables filled.
Great food and great service!
Good experience to celebrate my husband’s birthday. Enjoyed a great brunch.
We have eaten here before and loved it. This time the food was not as good and the service was incredibly slow. Hopefully it was just an off night.
My husband and I joined friends for Table’s $20 Devour Indy dinner menu. For starters, I had the kale salad with oyster salad dressing, and the rest of our group had the bacon-wrapped shrimp. My husband and I enjoyed the Faroe Island grilled salmon fillets with quinoa salad. Our friends had the umami burger with fries, and spinach fettuccine with pesto, peas and asparagus. Their servings were so large they took to-go boxes home. Our desserts were a delicious chocolate pot de creme with espresso whipped cream, and the burnt almond cake. Table’s regular menu is full of tasty items, and it’s worth the drive from our house to Carmel enjoy Table’s great food.
This place exceeded my expectations. I had the pork belly gnocchi and it was fantastic. And the live music was a really nice touch.
We had a change of plans and chose this restaurant. We really enjoyed it. It had different food and nice tables to sit comfortably. I would recommend it.
I was brought a dish I did not order and instead of the waiter just kindly taking it back and replacing it with what I ordered, he chose to debate with me that I actually did order what he initially brought. It was uncomfortable for everyone at the table, who by the way heard me order and knew the waiter brought the wrong dish. Here’s a lesson for everyone in the service industry....the customer is always right! He should have apologized, brought what I asked for and smiled...end of story!!!!!
Table was a great places for a friends lunch. Our server, Julie, was great, and the food was wonderful. We’ve a;ready planned a return visit.
Seating layout is weird. High traffic, high noise area
FOOD IS SPECTACULAR, waiter was VERY patient and made it easy for my older guests.
Food recommendations were perfect and a little PR and advertising inviting us back for new brunch format actually helps. ALWAYS looking for a good Sunday brunch place.
THEY NEED TO CHANGE FLOORING TOO NOISE IN THERE
BUT I WILL CERTAINLY RETURN IF FOR NOTHING ELSE THAN THE GRILLED BRUSSELS SPROUTS! YUM
Our first visit to this restaurant for dinner. Food was great. We appreciated the opportunity to dine outside. Server could have been a little more attentive.
Overall a positive experience.
In town for work, went to The Table for two dinners; each one was fantastic.
We were there for brunch on a very warm day, but there was plenty of shade and pleasant to sit outside. Outdoor seating moderated the noise level. Interesting brunch menu, but there were no waffles that day because their waffle iron was broken. (Who doesn't go buy a new waffle iron instead?) Honey biscuits are very good. Unusually light, tasty tomato and goat cheese quiche. Otherwise, food was good but not great. Prices are modest. Apparently, this restaurant is in the process of changing over to a buffet brunch. Will probably return to check that out when it happens.
Good food, a little pricey but not horrible... service was good, friendly people.
Outstanding salads and deserts to die for. I also enjoyed soup and my wife got 3 meals from the meatloaf stack.
Jared our server was incredible and the food is always delicious and unique.
Great food, fantastic service
fathers day brunch - quite good, many choices, something for everyone - especially liked the Caesar wedge & poached shrimp w/cocktail sauce, both tangy & tasty - used dishes were removed promptly & staff was attentive without being in the way - will do again
Great experience on Father’s Day. Attentive service ad great food. Many selections on buffet that were constantly refilled and refreshed.
Went for Father's day brunch and the food was good and plentiful. Our entire party of 5 had a wonderful time. Would definitely recommend again.
Great Sunday brunch for the money. Steak and salmon cooked to order as well as omelettes and burgers.
We've eaten brunch at Market District before and it has always been very good. It was good this time as well, however the setup of it was weird and didn't flow well. The food was in 3 different parts of the restaurant making it hard to get to and decide what we wanted to eat. Our waitress was sweet, but it was only her second day on the job. She was overwhelmed and had no one helping her. She forgot our drinks, she never came back to check on us until the end of our meal and then never came back to our table to collect our check. Luckily we had cash to pay the bill, otherwise I believe we would still be sitting there 🤣
I don't blame her though, she really was doing the best she could with limited experience and training. I blame Matket District Table for throwing her in the fire with little to no training or support.
