Every time we come to Indianapolis we make a point to come here for dinner. The food is outstanding and the service is second to none.
Enjoyed the Sunday brunch very much. Service was excellent. Will definitely be back!
We enjoy our meals at the Table. We do have a couple of suggestions for the restaurant that may make them more successful. Not everyone wants or needs to the gluten free. We applaud your efforts to provide outstanding gluten free meals. There are a number of us who enjoy bakery items such as flatbread, bread or rolls with dinner. Please consider adding those as an option for your entrees and salads. also, please consider adding soup to your menu. A cup of soup is an excellent starter for meals.
The food was well prepared and delicious. Our waitress was delightful when we saw her, but the service was extremely slow especially with only four tables filled.
Great food and great service!
Good experience to celebrate my husband’s birthday. Enjoyed a great brunch.
We have eaten here before and loved it. This time the food was not as good and the service was incredibly slow. Hopefully it was just an off night.
My husband and I joined friends for Table’s $20 Devour Indy dinner menu. For starters, I had the kale salad with oyster salad dressing, and the rest of our group had the bacon-wrapped shrimp. My husband and I enjoyed the Faroe Island grilled salmon fillets with quinoa salad. Our friends had the umami burger with fries, and spinach fettuccine with pesto, peas and asparagus. Their servings were so large they took to-go boxes home. Our desserts were a delicious chocolate pot de creme with espresso whipped cream, and the burnt almond cake. Table’s regular menu is full of tasty items, and it’s worth the drive from our house to Carmel enjoy Table’s great food.
This place exceeded my expectations. I had the pork belly gnocchi and it was fantastic. And the live music was a really nice touch.
We had a change of plans and chose this restaurant. We really enjoyed it. It had different food and nice tables to sit comfortably. I would recommend it.
I was brought a dish I did not order and instead of the waiter just kindly taking it back and replacing it with what I ordered, he chose to debate with me that I actually did order what he initially brought. It was uncomfortable for everyone at the table, who by the way heard me order and knew the waiter brought the wrong dish. Here’s a lesson for everyone in the service industry....the customer is always right! He should have apologized, brought what I asked for and smiled...end of story!!!!!
Table was a great places for a friends lunch. Our server, Julie, was great, and the food was wonderful. We’ve a;ready planned a return visit.
Seating layout is weird. High traffic, high noise area
FOOD IS SPECTACULAR, waiter was VERY patient and made it easy for my older guests.
Food recommendations were perfect and a little PR and advertising inviting us back for new brunch format actually helps. ALWAYS looking for a good Sunday brunch place.
THEY NEED TO CHANGE FLOORING TOO NOISE IN THERE
BUT I WILL CERTAINLY RETURN IF FOR NOTHING ELSE THAN THE GRILLED BRUSSELS SPROUTS! YUM
Our first visit to this restaurant for dinner. Food was great. We appreciated the opportunity to dine outside. Server could have been a little more attentive.
Overall a positive experience.
In town for work, went to The Table for two dinners; each one was fantastic.
We were there for brunch on a very warm day, but there was plenty of shade and pleasant to sit outside. Outdoor seating moderated the noise level. Interesting brunch menu, but there were no waffles that day because their waffle iron was broken. (Who doesn't go buy a new waffle iron instead?) Honey biscuits are very good. Unusually light, tasty tomato and goat cheese quiche. Otherwise, food was good but not great. Prices are modest. Apparently, this restaurant is in the process of changing over to a buffet brunch. Will probably return to check that out when it happens.
Good food, a little pricey but not horrible... service was good, friendly people.
Outstanding salads and deserts to die for. I also enjoyed soup and my wife got 3 meals from the meatloaf stack.
Jared our server was incredible and the food is always delicious and unique.
Great food, fantastic service
fathers day brunch - quite good, many choices, something for everyone - especially liked the Caesar wedge & poached shrimp w/cocktail sauce, both tangy & tasty - used dishes were removed promptly & staff was attentive without being in the way - will do again
Great experience on Father’s Day. Attentive service ad great food. Many selections on buffet that were constantly refilled and refreshed.
Went for Father's day brunch and the food was good and plentiful. Our entire party of 5 had a wonderful time. Would definitely recommend again.
Great Sunday brunch for the money. Steak and salmon cooked to order as well as omelettes and burgers.
We've eaten brunch at Market District before and it has always been very good. It was good this time as well, however the setup of it was weird and didn't flow well. The food was in 3 different parts of the restaurant making it hard to get to and decide what we wanted to eat. Our waitress was sweet, but it was only her second day on the job. She was overwhelmed and had no one helping her. She forgot our drinks, she never came back to check on us until the end of our meal and then never came back to our table to collect our check. Luckily we had cash to pay the bill, otherwise I believe we would still be sitting there 🤣
I don't blame her though, she really was doing the best she could with limited experience and training. I blame Matket District Table for throwing her in the fire with little to no training or support.
Father’s Day brunch, best buffet we have ever had.
My friend and I enjoyed our dinner, but we were both disappointed with the menu changes, after having dined here many times. In the past, Table did an outstanding job of presenting very good quality, flavorful, well-prepared entrees and sandwiches without attempting to be pretentious. Now the menu seemed to be trying to make traditional foods more "trendy".
The short rib sandwich had very little sauce - could have used some barbecue sauce or something to enhance it besides cole slaw piled on top of it. The wonderful fries that used to be so outstanding were limp and not great.
My shrimp and grits entree was tasty with a good number of shrimp and creamy grits, but it wasn't as well-seasoned as true Low Country shrimp and grits. If a restaurant is going to try serving a regional specialty (from a far-away region), then it should be done right!
Our server was outstanding, friendly, attentive, and helpful without being obtrusive. He was the ideal person to train his new co-worker.
We'll come back again and hope that we enjoy it more the next time.
Great booth as requested but requested special bday dessert for sister but was not offered dessert , new young server he was on day 2 we asked after seeing hands trembling he did well other than didn’t ask about desserts or no one told him about request surprising my sister for her bday, we left and went elsewhere for dessert
We discovered Table by Market District on Open Table. What a pleasant new find! Went in on a Saturday night with a reservation and were seated right away in the bar (which is what we requested). The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Had a nice conversation with the head of the house manager.
We started with appetizers and half way through it was all over but the raving! We had the buffalo cauliflower (now thinking this could be my go to carry out for Football!) it was amazing!! The Brussel sprouts, although never a favorite of mine, nudged me toward “I could eat these again!” My husband loved them! The Fork and Knife fries should come with a shovel so you can eat more of them! We never got to the entrees we were so full. Huge portions, obviously meant to share but hard to because they’re so good! Only warning— Eat all the Brussels sprouts at your table, because you don’t want that doggie bag smelling up your car! This will be one of our new favorites!! Ps. The blackberry bourbon bramble is a Should be called the Yes sir, May I have another.
We had a very nice meal at Market District. Saturday is half price bottles of wine, so we got a really nice $40 bottle for $20. I had the Korean bbq chicken with rice and stir fry veggies. It was delicious. Very tender chicken. It was a while HALF chicken though so way too much food for me. (Husband enjoyed the leftovers today.) Hubby has the skirt steak rare. It was very rare, which is exactly how he likes it. We also had the crispy Brussels sprouts. Very good. Overall good experience. I was surprised that there were hardly any people there. It is a nice restaurant.
Interesting and eclectic menu. The food was good and presented well. The service was excellent. Try the whiskey flight!
Restaurant was not busy but it took over 20 minutes to get our drinks from the bar. Drinks arrived at same time food was delivered. Waiter did not check on us or bring more water to the table.
My husband and I loved it! Great relaxing evening after a very busy day!
The food was good. We were happy to have a leisurely meal but our main course was served so soon free the starter that we took the starter home. The dessert menu and the bill were offered by the second bite of dinner. No refill of water offered. Unnecessarily fast service spoilt our evening.
We were celebrating a graduation and had an age range from 18 to 79. Everyone loved their food and the wide range of choices. We had a great time and we were encouraged to stay and visit as long as we wanted. Our waiter Jarrod was wonderful and knew the menu inside and out. He answered lots of questions easily. We will be back again and again!
The staff is very attentive and friendly.
Great service, food, and ambiance!
A spontaneous choice for brunch after church. WOW - so good. Seated outside immediately. Tall bottles of water on the table. Impressive selection of brunch items. Great kids menu w creative options. Something for everyone. Classic breakfast or creative chef specialties. Large portions. LOVE the pick and choose options to create your own entree. Excellent service. Can’t wait to go back.
A real "cattle call" for Mother's Day! Way too many people. Buffet was the only option and it was lousy - lukewarm and not tasty. Not many healthy options. Way, way overpriced. A major disappointment! We will not be back!
The MD was booked for our traditional Mother's Day breakfast. We had visited the MD the previous year and had a great experience. This year, the service was terrible. It was beyond bad. The manager stepped in and tried to do damage control. In addition, the buffet was not as good as the previous year. Sadly, we will not be booked the MD again. The buffet was extremely expensive and the service was less than desirable. Apparently gaining good service is hard to find. Two thumbs down for MD.
